My coworker brought in cookies that his friend made. He went and heated them up so I had a nice warm gooey cookie. And as I go to take a bite, I see a hair sticking out. A hair that was baked into the entire cookie.
@traceyos , does M have all of her teeth yet? I feel like she does. The crying in the MOTN is usually a sign of teething for Em.
I thought she did but recently noticed her 2 year molars aren't in on the top. At least I don't think they are. I really can't see up there. They're in on the bottom so I assumed they were in on the top, but I'm not so sure anymore. MOTY
It could be teeth, yeah. I guess I could try motrin and see if she stops. haha. Medicate your child so you can sleep all night. MOTY again.
Wait, we are not supposed to medicate? Dude, they need to sleep and so do we!
Anddddd Kolby climbed out of his crib without a sound and came downstairs at "nap" time today. Ugh, not ready for a toddler bed. Then he reached his hand down while I was changing a dirty diaper and then reached over before I got it wiped off and smeared it all over his latch board. Giving me a run for my money today.

I medicate for sure, but waking a kid up who is not actually awake, or mostly not awake, just to give meds seems to defeat the purpose of getting back to sleep!

yl I thought you mentioned liking lipsense. I tried their matte lip gloss and love it. I feel like I remember others saying they don't like matte lipstick but I don't always want a shiny gloss.

I have been wondering about that matte gloss! I like a matte lip sometimes. I'm trying not to spend all my money on LipSense, but I love it.
Today has been...a day. We got stuck behind a bus after dropping Nick off at daycare, we were running a few minutes behind but usually that is NBD. Finally got rid of the bus, and got stuck behind a very slow person. Got to work 10 minutes late.
I did some grocery shopping on my lunch break. Go to pay, can't find my debit card. Drive back to work to get my husband's drive back to pay for my groceries. 10 Minutes late back to work from my break.
Computer has been freezing up this afternoon. This has forced me to restart 3 times, and you know, it's not like I have ridiculously important Change Orders to a contract that I need sent back to our General Contractor ASAP. Newp.
yl and lovemyirishtwins - I've recently boarded the lipsense train. I've never really worn lipsticks or glosses for many reasons, but so far I like this! I just picked up the matte gloss the other day, haven't tried it yet though.

I know me too! I want so many colors.
I really was only coming on here to tell you I love the matte gloss. But my friend who sells it is doing a give away for a free matte gloss if you add 5 friends on her page. It ends Sunday evening. I have not participated because I literally bought one A day before she posted the give away. I could add you if you want to try and win one. She has only had three people participate in the give away. I won't be offended if you don't want to go on her page.

I love that my lips feel super soft when I am wearing the gloss but are not glossy. It is weird in a nice way.
Also, the White House sends out emails with positive media coverage and today included a satirical piece about trumps budget proposal because they clearly only read the title and not the piece. Amazing.

Is Lobster Mac N Cheese as good as lobster and Mac n cheese is separate? I looked at the menu for where we have reservations tonight and I've always wanted to try this. But now I'm having second thoughts. I love lobster and I love a good homemade macaroni and cheese.
I really wanted to go see Beauty and the Beast but every theater is sold out of 2 seats next to each other for the times we could go. I think the last movie I saw in theaters was James Bond - Skyfall, and that was a super long time ago.
Omg no. I get like 70% of my wardrobe from there. Womp.
Well, more money in my pocket?
I just read the email the founder sent out. I didn't know Jet.com was also a Walmart company. I still don't see how a company like Modcloth would be comfortable with Walmart.
The shirt I got for Em for St Patrick's day has been sitting at the Post Office like 10 minutes away for the past 2 days. Apparently it is not coming today. I'm really pissed.
I haaaaate when this happens. And I can't pick it up unless they try and fail to deliver it or something. So frustrating.
I feel like it's taking forever to get everything all situated to start treating my MIL's breast cancer. She found out about a month ago, and she just had the biopsies today. Unfortunately, the scan showed spots in the other breast and a lymph node, as well Is it normal for this process to go so slow?! When we first heard, it seemed like they were getting her in for a mastectomy in two-ish weeks. Not so. Apparently, she goes on Monday to see the oncologist again; hopefully, they'll have a plan of action ready to go.

I think I see the tiniest tip of Elena's bottom canines. THANK GOD she might actually cut these teeth before she turns two.
She bit down on some food and just lost her mind silent screaming in pain. Oh, dear.
Canines were worse than molars for us. Hopefully they won't be for you.
She's a pretty easy teether, but these have definitely been the hardest. Plus she started the process the week we brought Max home so it's been extra fun.
Need to vent...my Mom moved into her new house on Monday, it's been an emotional time. My moved from my hometown, where both my parents grew up, where I grew up. While I know this move was what my Mom needed and wanted it's still hard. Anyway, my Mom lives in the same city as my sister now. We are going up to see my Mom and stupid me thought my sister would be happy to see us. Apparently she's had a busy week and just had the house professionally clean, so she'd rather us not come there with the dogs. Ok fine. But could you at least try to be a nice human being and pretend you'd like to see your niece. I spent so much time with my niece and nephew when they were A's age, in fact I'd do anything to see them. Just sucks that A doesn't get to have that. Not to mention, I miss my Dad so much I just want to be with my family.
W was a cranky whiney monster all day. H is a saint and took him to the basement to clean with him. I should be using this time to clean the house or tackle the monster pile of laundry. Buuut TCF and laying in bed wins.

You guys! I might die! Bill is wearing disposable diapers this week because he has a diaper rash from being on antibiotics. He figured out how to reach in his pants and unfasten them which I didn't really pay much attention to. Anyway, we're at the park and he announces that he's pooping and I'm like, "give me a minute, kid" (I was talking to another mom). He keeps saying "poop" louder and louder and walks over to me with his legs out all funny and keeps pointing to his crotch. I looked and realized he managed to unfasten his diaper inside of his pants and he took an enormous poop in his pants. It took me 18 wipes to get him clean enough to get him home for a bath.
I have seriously never experienced something that gross, ever.
BAHAHA I don't think the PA looked at my chart very closely bc when I triple checked that antibiotics won't affect the effectiveness of my paragard, she said no but reminded "ALWAYS USE A CONDOM THO". And my immediately response was LOL NO WAY. She whipped around so fast and I could already see the lecture coming up and out her mouth. I told her a condom free life was the perk of being married.
ETA: I'm having flashbacks to the latest Girls episode and I may have just seriously jinxed myself 😳
