My kids all have short sleeve green shirts for today and it's supposed to be 40 and rainy. Whatever March. H is off today and so is DD so we're heading to the children's museum and then to skyline for green spaghetti.

Good luck @wafflesfriendswork!
Not only is it St. Patrick's Fay, it's also FRIDAY!!!!! Yay! Our daycare is giving us a parents night out today and will feed the kids dinner and keep them until 11:00 tonight. I have to think about what DH and I should do. Is it sad I'm seriously contemplating a nice dinner and then a nap?
My kids are in green but not St. Paddy's Day specific shirts. But my picture of Noah from last year popped up on my time hop on Facebook. I love this face! He isn't too fond of the top hat this year.

Good luck @wafflesfriendswork!
My grandma is coming over to help me out today. I'm not sure what I want to have her help me with, though. Dishes? Cleaning the vomit out of F's car seat (from Sunday...)? Mostly I just wanted her to come over and socialize with me. Weirdly enough, this introvert is starting to get cabin fever.
I have 2 things I'm grumpy about, and then I'm switching to happy Friday mood. 1. My ute is trying to kill me. It's obviously making me grumpy to be attacked from inside.
2. So I was scrolling on Facebook last night and there was this disgusting meme about transgender people. I kind of stopped, scrolled up a little and saw it was posted by Milo Y (not googling to spell it). I assume one of my friends had the mean face reaction to it and that is why it is in my newsfeed. But no, H's cousin LIKED the picture. Ugh.
Ok! Happy Friday! FX @wafflesfriendswork, I hope this is it for you! I am sticking a long sleeve shirt under L's Cat & Jack shamrock shirt. When I bought it, it was 75*! I didn't think it would be too cold for short sleeves.
ashiscute when I was a beef eater I loved skyline. Not sure I could do green spaghetti are the noodles green not the chili, right?
Green spaghetti. Chili is normal. Skyline is seriously the best restaurant for kids though. They give you oyster crackers as soon as you sit down, it takes about 4 minutes for food to be made, and the kids meals are $3.99 and come with animal crackers to take home. And they have their own bibs!
Good luck @wafflesfriendswork! Hopefully this ends your house hunt, then you can update us on the changes you make!
I need to get my butt in gear. I need to get my oil changed and don't want to wait forever so I should get moving. I also have to pick up bar stools for my BIL and will probably stop by Starbucks. I've finished all of my shows I was binge watching and caught up on DVR, I need a new show.

Oh, I forgot to wear green today. No one in our house is wearing green. Oops.
Yesterday I either had a very bad case of MS or a stomach bug. I lost my breakfast, dropped DS off at daycare, then threw up in my car so I went back home. I did not feel better until I caved and took a Zofran. I have no desire to be at work, but I'm here. Daycare is closed today but DH's school is also closed so they are having a guys day. So far they've got the oil changed, went to breakfast, and got the tires rotated. I'm just sitting at my desk pretending to work. No energy to find an appropriate gif.

This really has been the worst week. I forgot to mention that our master shower is leaking somewhere and the ceiling in our basement is wet. The light above my kitchen sink has a short and needs to be replaced. And DH backed into a neighbors car (parked illegally, but whatever) Wednesday.
It's snowing, but I have no place to go so it's cool. The kids are both in their St Patrick's day shirts. Trying to get a decent picture is proving difficult. I went grocery shopping last night and didn't get home until after 10pm. Sad I lost the night to do something more fun, but happy the shopping is done and I didn't have to take the kids with me. Planning on doing good a whole lot of nothing today. Then going to make Homemade chicken Alfredo and apple pie for date night.
People watching may be my favorite way to pass time. I'm sitting outside of pier one in a shopping center where 99% of the stores don't open until 10. I have watched countless people try to open doors and get mad when the doors are locked. Cracks me up.
And I watched a lady speed walk across the parking lot leaving her 2-3 year old daughter behind. Poor baby just couldn't keep up.
I'm wearing my hoodie fromTrinity College, which I feel is more Irish than a random green shirt, since it was actually purchased in Dublin. Butit's supposed to be hot again today, so I threw a random green shirt on under since I'll probably besweatingbylunch.
The space bar has stopped working on my work computer, and I was goingto fix it all butI decided to justtell you why it looks like this instead.
I am wearing all black today, no green. I'm on my way to Dorchester for my uncle's funeral. It's the first time I've worn lipstick and eye shadow in a while. POOF

Things I teach my classes on St. Patrick's Day: 1) Paddy = correct, Patty = incorrect 2) Shamrock vs 4-leaf clover 3) I don't care what someone is or isn't wearing, you do not have the right to pinch them/lay a finger on them without their permission
For the last few weeks M has been whining in her sleep. I'm not sure if she is awake, it looks like she's asleep or at least mostly asleep on the monitor. Does anyone else have a kid who does or has done this? It lasts long enough to wake H and I both up, but it doesn't seem to wake her. Any suggestions besides turning the monitor off?
L does this sometimes. It seems to happen a couple days in a row. I have no idea what the cause is, but I don't do anything since she doesn't seem to wake up at all. And is always happy before bed/in the mornings. It is pitiful though.
I hope it works out for both of you, @wafflesfriendswork and jnetx! I'd love to see some success on the buying front, so I feel like we can get there someday
We're accepting an offer today. It's an investor, which kind of sucks, but it'll be a super easy selling process. They want to close in 2 weeks (cash), but they're going to lease back for free about 4-6 weeks. There are no houses that fit our criteria listed right now
BUT, since we're selling our house finally, we're booking Disney World! We're going the week after Thanksgiving. I'm pretty pumped. And overwhelmed. We did get a Disney planner, though.
Recently I found a pair of jeans in my closet that I don't remember ever buying or wearing, but they fit me perfectly. I'm the heaviest I have ever been, so I'm not sure when I would have even bought them, but, seriously, never has a pair of jeans fit me so well.
I went online to get myself another pair, and, of course, they don't make them anymore. I did find another of the exact same style and size on Poshmark- brand new with tags, just a different wash. Hooray!
Well, I got them yesterday and they don't fit AT ALL. I can't even button them. They have the same tag, they're the same size, everything is the same, but I can barely get these on my body.
