I'm trying not to drop the kids on mh and run out the door because freeeeeedom! I feel the need to take advantage of his time off and do all of the things but he deserves at least one day to chill right?
I had a nice walk with the dog this morning and then we went to the mall to get the battery in his fishing watch replaced. I did a few laps with dd. Everyone has been fed and appear to be ready for naptime, Mh included!

Fever broke last night! Yay! I mean, I was a gross sweaty mess as was my bed but whatever. I'm feeling much better. Have to go take care of my mom's dogs and chickens and then who knows what we'll do. Clean, probably.
And yay! Our new king mattress arrived and now we're just waiting on the bed. Hoping it gets here Monday.
Dh is working an event tonight so I will be solo for bedtime for the first time ever. Should be interesting as B's evening bottle coincides with DS1's story time and tuck in. I guess I can wrap B and hold bottle in one hand and book in the other? This will be fun and I will have a lot of wine after.

My bf is going out of town for 2 weeks for work, although he'll come home next weekend. So we're going to Chuck E Cheese now to do something fun as a family first. I hope it's fun and not crazy busy there.

So E slept until 8 this morning!!! We had a nanny interview and I think we are going to hire her. H & I are heading to see his cousin's son in a play. My mom is babysitting. My brother came to see her for the first time too.

peaseblossom55, hooray for sleep and a nanny! Also sounds like you have a lovely evening to look forward to! Enjoy!
So DS1 only napped for an hour and B has been sleeping for almost five hours, waking up only once to eat. Things should get interesting come dinner and bedtime.
We went to the aquarium with some friends this afternoon. DS1 lasted about and hour and a half before melting down, but we now have a membership so we can go back whenever we want.
I NIP while chatting it up with another mom. I also got to hand out a few biz cards while I was there. Talking to strangers is terrifying lol
I measured my wine in a shot glass to see how much I'm actually drinking for weight watchers points. I was surprised that my normal glass is less than a serving! So naturally that means I can have more 😅

You are one good weight watcher! I tracked my points right up until dinner and then decided I didn't want to know how many were in my 1.5 margaritas + 1 beer. Remind me of this when I whine about not losing as much as I hoped come weigh in day.
I ended up signing up for ww online yesterday bc I got a coupon code for 40% off. I need to get it together and start already, maybe we should start a separate thread for motivation.

Forgive me J17, for I have sinned. It's been a week or more since my last post.
Remember me? I'm Judy. 9 week old baby girl A is sweeter than pie, but our evenings (like 7-10) are miserable.
The toddler is trying our patience so much lately that we've resorted to a sticker chart for good behavior.
A's baptism is tomorrow, so we've spent the past couple days prepping for that.
We were in a high snow area this week. I took the toddler.sledding for 10 minutes. Holy cold. We've been making snowballs lately - just a cup of snow with fizzy flavored water poured over top.
DS1....oh DS1. If he could just behave half as good around everyone else as he does when we're alone, H might actually believe me that I discipline him. But for now, it looks like I'll keep having to listen to H say he's the only person DS1 listens to because he's the disciplinarian. Mkay dude. -.-
Also, H is sick now. He had some allergy, sinus issue earlier this week but it seems to have intensified. I think he has a sinus infection. He won't take anything for it of course and this means I'll be 100% parenting until he feels better unless DS1 irritates him and then he'll take over because I didn't react fast enough. Funny how they can't parent when sick and yet yesterday, when I was sick and just wanting some babying after getting zero rest because kids wouldn't sleep, he couldn't go more than an hour before handing me back the baby, asking to play his game, not wanting to cuddle because "he had to study" (not untrue but it's on an ipad, he can cuddle), and then giving into cuddling and not playing his game only because I agreed to scratch his head.
It's days like these I have to keep up my mantra that he's a good person and a good dad because I just want to scream at him. Plus, he is sick and screaming at a sick person is not OK, I don't think.
B did 5hrs followed by 4hrs followed by 1.5 before getting up for the day yesterday. Last night? 3hrs45mins followed by 2 hrs, then 40 minutes before deciding to have a late night party. After an hr of just calmly staring at the ceiling, he was tired enough to go back down for another 2 hrs.
Why is this kid so freaking inconsistent?! By this age, his sister was consistently doing 6-7 hr first stretches and then always going right back down. This dude is throwing me for a loop. 🤔
I had another nice walk with the dog. Yell at me if I don't take a walk every day while I have mh here to watch the kids. Hopefully the weather will be better when he starts his new job so I can start taking the kids again but in the mean time puppy dog walks it is!
If the toddler elbows, knees, or somehow smushes my poor boobs one more time I will not be happy. A couple of times one of them was slightly engorged, ouch! I will read you this book but you do not need to climb all over me. Jeesh.

E last ate at 2:30 and woke up again at 10:30. It was so nice to get that extra sleep. Also when I went it to feed her she was sucking her thumb because her pacifier fell out. I hope she has realized the thumb is a pacifier substitute. I want to go to BRU this afternoon but we may just may it a lazy day inside for us.
Dh did not get home from his work event until 1:30 am. Bedtime was not awful as I feared but B was up every two hours. It was terrible and I feel like a zombie. DS just went down for nap, Dh is also napping, and my ILs just arrived and are downstairs with B. I don't know what to do with myself. DS is in my bed with Dh so maybe I'll nap in his bed.

I've been MIA this week, just not a lot of phone time. N is two months and got a bunch of shots on Friday. I hate hearing them scream
We're supposed to start potty training DS today and we've already decided to wait until after nap time because neither of us were mentally ready haha. Plus I need bribes (M&Ms) and I'm already going to the store at nap time.
DH got a flat tire yesterday so tomorrow he needs to deal with that, he was able to limp home with the donut. My SUV also has a tire with a slow leak that we need to handle. I hope it can be patched, otherwise I need four new tires (AWD).
I also strained my back somehow yesterday (moving 45lbs of dog food maybe?) so I'm trying to rest it. I hate that my core is so weak from the C-section.
peaseblossom55 yay for sleeping more and hopefully finding a nanny! N is trying to use her hands as a pacifier but can't always find them. She likes when I hold them up for her to chew on
lakegirl good for you for walking! I need to start doing the same but I can't figure out when to squeeze it in. I have no excuse because DH is home 75% of the time.
silvermelody cars are the worst. How come all the things you thought were going to be awesome when you were young tirnbout to be no fun? Your own car = gas, insurance, and maintenance. Teenage me only really factored in gas money.
I bought a pair of really jeans today. My maternity jeans are starting to slide down and have some thin spots but my regular jeans don't button comfortably (major muffin top). The new pair is only one size up so it's not as bad as I was envisioning.
I should move dd to her crib soon. I'm dragging my feet because she's the last one and hasn't been disrupting my sleep in between feedings. We had agreed on a month like we did with ds but mh got confused and thought it was recommended to keep her in the room with us until she hit ten pounds. I just rolled with it but I'm feeling a bit claustrophobic with all the baby stuff and it would be nice to get the pnp out of the room. Decisions, decisions.

We decide to go out to BRU since it was nice out but still too covered with snow to go for a walk. We got her a toy chest another base for mil for the car seat. Some more bottles teething rings and some plates/spoons for feedings.
