I'm still in a crabby mood and I really don't like to be that way. Wasting my morning interviewing a couple candidates for some open positions in our business office that at this point I really don't care about. It will just be more work for me to train them. :/
Our most recent new hire is super annoying and is always telling us how much better Virginia is than Ohio. Everyone wishes she would just go back there. I kid you not, just last week people at the office were coming to look out the window and comment on the beautiful sunrise and she said, "It's nice, but doesn't compare to the sunrises in Virginia." Seriously, you can't even give us a sunrise?!?
Not much planned other than massive cleaning for mil's arrival on Saturday.
Dh has been having stomach issues and his doctor just found gallstones. He has a HIDA scan Thursday to get a better picture of what is going on and if they will remove his gallbladder. Luckily, I have been through this before and can tell him what to expect.

I'd rather live in Virginia than Ohio. Too cold. Virginia wins.
But your co-irker is the worst, 360blessings. I'd already be trolling her hard-core. "Good morning! What's great about Virginia today?" "Can you hand me that file? Would it be a nicer file in Virginia?" "Hey, take my poll: on a scale of 1-10, ten being Virginia, how much of a garbage dump is this place?"
@katechristine18 Virginia is for lovers! @justinslovo kidz bop does the cup song and it's probably cleaned up
I just got verbally abused by a student and now I'm listening to my coworker trying to get 4 4th grade boys to use their background knowledge to answer questions about going to prom. @ceci8876, do you think my OT coworker would mind if I was in his office on the balance swing for a sensory break?
I had a great morning getting both boys ready and out of the house by myself. And then I smashed into our garage door. I must have pressed the button twice because as I was backing out the door was coming back down. Ugh. Now the door won't close all the way.
I also really want Ohio chili and miss living in Virginia now. My family is in NOVA and I went to college in Richmond and they are both great places to live.

I'll vote Ohio-so many hidden gems here none of you probably know about!
All dum dum suckers and the vast majority of candy canes come from ohio. Cedar point . Low cola and awesome amenities and no traffic. Cols zoo is best in the country. I could go on
I think CA beats VA on that. Berkeley > UVA. But I have a load of UVA alums in the family so I can never say that at home.
I think the case can be made for both states. Virginia has high-caliber state universities (UVA, William & Mary, Va Tech.) and even the schools that are often considered safeties for VA students (JMU, George Mason) are good schools. The UC system is excellent, especially Berkeley, and has a lot of name recognition a la UCLA or UCSB, but I don't know enough about the actual rankings, etc, to comment further.
Think Liv is too young to attempt to teach her the Cup song?
What's the cup song?
wait a minute- do you not know the cup song or did you not know it was called the cup song? Cause seriously, Pitch Perfect is probably the greatest movie.

I finally suggested a little conditioner for Elena's hair (husband does bath time.) It's still of course the classic baby mullet, but it is so soft and not all raggedy in the back!
I don't know why my bald husband didn't think of it... 🙄

Have not seen pitch perfect. Maybe I'll order it this afternoon?! I have to admit that at the beginning of that video I kept waiting for them to start singing about chili's baby back ribs.

It's 1115 and my baby has already eaten 3 bowls of cereal with milk, cheese and crackers, shepherds pie, a tortilla with peanut butter and banana, and fruit snacks. He's currently screaming for more cereal. I'm trying to hold him off until lunch, but he thinks he's starving. He hasn't eaten this much in so long. Baby growth spurt!

True story- in 13 years of being together, DH and I have only gone to a movie theater 3 times- Star Wars The Force Awakens, Star Wars Rogue One, and Pitch Perfect 2.
