Every night before bath Henry walks around naked and finds a spot to pee. He thinks this is hilarious and has been doing it for about a week. Should I start getting him to do this in a little potty? We are SOOO far from PT-ing for real, so I'm hesitant. Is PT-ing something that needs to be done one fell swoop?
With both big kids we started putting them on the potty right before getting in the bath as part of their routine. We didn't force it and they only ever peed occasionally but I thought it was a nice introduction to using the potty. We also used the regular toilet with a potty seat on it versus a little potty.
Potty training is not something that has to be done in a certain window in a certain way. Give them opportunities, let them explore, follow their lead.
My grandfather passed away this morning. I found out right as I boarded the plane. I'm glad he's finally pain free and got to leave as much on his terms as he could. Waiting to hear more to see if I need to head home ahead of schedule.

wells2010 we got a Honda Odyssey. I really wanted an SUV but we rented a van for vacation last year and I was sold. So much room. Plus with some of the things I struggle with physically, the van is best.

This is the only one my husband would ever consider in a million years. It would take that long to convince him, though.
We love our SUV, don't get me wrong, but I think vans are pretty great.

Anyone have a good baby doll that has a real torso (as opposed to stuffing) and the limbs move and it isn't huge? Elena would love one but I can't find anything that fits these parameters.
Oh my dear god we had our first puke incident today. A got carsick and it went EVERYWHERE. There was so much!! I can't stop smelling it she's totally fine now, but ughhhh!

I felt the same as your husband for years! But then I got old and had a kid.

No way! You can introduce a potty whenever, even if you won't be potty training for months. We've been having Hunter use the potty occasionally for 6+ months now. He thinks it's great, but prefers diapers. My big guy was using the potty randomly for nearly a year before he was fully trained. Do what you're comfortable with, maybe you'll just get really lucky and once he knows what it is he'll train himself so you don't have to.
I took the big kids to see beauty and the beast today and was getting them drinks from those huge soda machines with 8 billion flavors. I told DD she could get sprite and she said "no mom can I get cock" and pointed to the coke. It was amazing.
Actual movie was okay. DS really struggled and bounced all around and talked the whole time. They had 8 previews plus a 2 hour movie. Way too much sitting.
I'm trying really hard not to go overboard on retail therapy. Not happy with DH = $60 on the boys, at least one LLR item (if not two) in a couple of hours, and possibly some new KEEP charms I've had my eye on. He better get home quick and make it up to me before I spend all of our money.
