Noah refused to sleep/sleep in his bed last night. I finally pulled him in to our bed around 11:15. I guess he kept me awake enough to watch the end of the UK game. Go cats!!!! But I'm so exhausted . I didn't sleep well with Noah being in my bed, and then DS2 was up just after 6:00 this morning. Of course he woke up all of us. :/ DH works today so it's just me and the kids. We have swim lessons this morning hopefully followed by naps. I'm trying to drink my coffee in silence but the kids are already up and at it. Sigh.
We have not sat down to a meal in weeks without the kids discussing Moana. Today's conversation is about how Maui thinks he's the bravest but he learns that Moana is even braver. It is getting out of hand.
I sat up all night holding HH so she'd hopefully cough less and sleep more. Spoiler: no one slept and everyone coughed. This is the worlds longest cold. I can just feel it undoing all the hard sleep training and "no paci out of bed" work we've done.
Are you doing baby Vicks on her chest and feet and a humidifier? Nick is still getting over a cold and bad cough and those are the only remedies that got us any sleep, plus some Motrin. I hope everyone gets better soon.
Ryan and I are heading to a funeral this morning. Nick is at my mom's and I miss him terribly. It's supposed to be much warmer here today and that is lifting my mood a little. I hope everyone has a nice Saturday!
Feeling guilty because we're skipping mommy and me dance this morning. It's the one thing I do with Ella but I'm tired and DH is still sleeping, so it's even more of a challenge to get out the door quickly. She doesn't even know the difference. I'm taking DD1 for a haircut this afternoon. Like 6 inches. Her hair is OOC. She wants it to be like Repunzel. I'm over it.

@wafflesfriendswork, I also swear by putting Vick's on their feet before bed at night. I started doing that with my oldest years ago and it seems to work.

Yay! The plumber is here to finish the bathroom (yep, the bathroom we gutted over a year ago). We've been without the sink in there and a baseboard heater. He's also flushing our tankless water heater and installing a whole house water filter.
DD1 spent the night at my parents last night so it was just H, me and M. We went to Red Robin and she was awesome. She's getting the taste of being any only child, lol.
I'm still pissed off about the dream I had. I walked in on my husband and the friend who introduced us (my high school bff). They were barely apologetic about it. She was like, "yeah this has been going on before you guys started dating". His resonse was "you have plenty of male friends that bother me". I should get out of the bed. Maybe the angry won't follow me.
Molly has the most pitiful cold and is ridiculously snotty. So we skipped gymnastics this morning and slept in our Benadryl induced coma until 9. I'll take it. I feel like a slacker mom because we skipped last week when I was sick. Oops. She is currently eating a bunch of oranges for the vit. C and watching Mikey.
I'm going to a meet up today with some ladies from the IF Boards near the outlets so I may go shopping after depending on the weather. It's rainy right now and I have no idea if its supposed to clear up.

Had a really good day yesterday. Got laundry folded and put away and even went through DD'S too small clothes and sent pictures and offered them to another mom. My husband got off work a little early and we all went outside. Set up the outdoor table and chairs and my husband cleaned up the grill. After awhile the kids started playing in the mud made by the hose. All was good and then DD nailed me in the face with mud, while I was talking on the phone. I'm sure it looked funny but it was not. It got all over my face, stuck in my glasses, in my mouth, when I took off my bra a hugh chunk fell out. Then while I was giving DD a shower she chucked the soapy wet washcloth at me. I seriously don't know what do with her sometimes. I took all the toys out of her bedroom as punishment, in addition to a time out. I do not like this age at all.

My kids love this movie too. Dd1 sings "How Far Ill Go" all the time. However, instead of singing I wish I could be the perfect daughter she says I wish I could be the perfect otter. It's the best!
DH got the oil changed in my truck for me. I get sick of the guys giving me a run around with everything else they want to be flushed.
We have a tball game in an hour out of town, then who knows what we'll get into. I had a good time with my cheer girls last night, but dang was it exhausting.
We are at our lake house with my parents for the weekend. It's raining though, so I'm trying to think of a way for Henry to burn some energy. He's tearing apart the house right now "exploring." Tonight i think we'll grill and I'm looking forward to a huge glass of wine!
Well I just made my first call to poison control for HH. She's fine and will be fine but damn I don't know how she can open childproof bottles and I can't.
Aah!! Scary. These kids are crazy. I'm glad she'll be okay.

I'm about to go to Walmart BY MYSELF. Feeling drunk with power already. (I'd rather Target, but ours is very small and I can't get all my groceries there.)
My H has a cold. He made me drive 90 minutes each way to pick him up from work. Now I'm waiting for him to be finished at Minute Clinic. He told me he has pneumonia.

Home from a local fairy hunt and it was so fun! Local businesses have fairy doors hidden and you have to find the names of all the fairies then you get a tshirt. Map reading writing and fun - it was great!
It's 77 degrees out and I'm stuck in the office til 3, ahhhh!! only 1 hour-ish left. Then we're going to have a picnic at a local park that sits near the airport and you can see all the planes take off. A is either going to love it or hate it. She's been learning about planes in DC all week and loves pointing at them out as they fly by, so we'll see! This morning was so easy with her since the weather was nice and we were able to be outside and tire her out. I'm hoping it keeps up!
DS1 had a great time at tball, even "caught" two balls and threw them to first base correctly! DH went to work and I'm knee deep in fundraising material. So many details. AF showed up too which means I have to have my HSG sometime in the next 7-10 days to prep for our FET this summer. It also explains my craving for all things sugar.

@wafflesfriendswork sorry about the sickness! A word of advice from my pediatrician - Benadryl is great for congestion, but she advised me to discontinue once a cough develops because since it tends to dry things up, it can make a cough worse.
Last time Jules was sick with a cough, I omitted dairy in the evenings and replaced with warm water with a tbsp of honey mixed in. I had her sip on that before bedtime and it seemed to help ease the coughing a bit (that plus Vicks plus the humidifier)

elenetxu - spring forward was not kind to us and took about a week to recover. It was mostly DS2 not wanting to go down. After a week of daycare exhaustion, it all went back to normal. Good luck!
