littleredfish, sub out the Jose for a Patron blizzard and I'd say you were onto something.
Re. Diapers: we use pampers. I've tried the bjs brand and the texture is awful. Like wrapping a grocery bag around your kid. Pampers have contained some pretty impressive blowouts from E.
My random thoughts:
I really want to start a mommy blog but am struggling with how this can be accomplished while maintaining some sense of privacy/anonymity. I really don't want my family to find it. On social media, aside from a picture of baby shoes announcing our pregnancy and aside from ONE picture of E at the hospital announcing her birth, we have kept her entirely off the internet and that's been 100% because I want to keep my family out of the loop. I had a beauty blog for years that I loved and now I really want a mommy blog because I love writing, but idk if it's possible... thoughts?
Other rando...pedi suggested we switch to size 2 nipples to get E to eat more/faster. (She's the world's laziest eater.) I think it may have been a bit premature. She's been fussy (I believe due to gas) and she has had some pretty epic spit up. I think I may go back to size one for a while...
Diapers are weird. So far neither of my kids have been able to use huggies without leaks. I'm sad about this because 1) I have a package someone gave me that may never get used 2) I prefer Winnie the Pooh to Sesame Street
And DS is allergic to the elastic on target brand diapers. I'm glad we use cloth most of the time because keeping him in pampers would be $$
What kind of barrier or rash cream/ointment do you use with cloth?
loves2shop4shoes- With regards to the blog I'd say go for it! Would your family be looking for a new mom/baby blog? Likely no so they shouldn't find out.
I can't remember who's doing what. If you are nursing and supplementing you don't need to move up nipple sizes.
@nomnom- workout ?. Is your trainer having you do abs/planks? I'm seeing conflicting info for what is ok post csection.

You can buy creams that are cloth friendly (can't remember brands right now) but I've found coconut oil to be an awesome alternative.
Really? I opened the box and hated them out of the gate. We tried them with E for about a week but I couldn't get past it. I now keep them in my diaper bag as my emergency diapers. 😂

Really. DS uses them or target. Both are fine and get the job done and he has no complaints.
And I'm certainly not complaining about 13c a diaper compared to 26c+ for Pampers.
DS wore pampers exclusively until he was 2. Then I decided to save some money.
crazycatlady6 I'd definitely call your OB about the pain especially since it's getting worse. I'm so sorry things have been trying. I hope YH sticks with your plan. I'm not back at work for another couple of weeks still so if you want to meet up for lunch or a walk around the mall or whatever definitely let me know.
I'm calling my OB when the office opens at 9. It's still pretty bad for 5+ weeks PP.
Meeting up sounds good, they have a DQ in the mall. I'll PM you once I figure things out down there.

I use angel baby bottom balm most of the time. If it's a semi bad rash I use this stuff called balm baby mad rash.

Oh yeah, nomnom, I would probably use coconut oil as a barrier. I just don't normally use anything unless there's actually a rash. There are lots of cloth safe diaper creams; I found a list somewhere. I just try to use the most cloth friendly as possible, because my washer doesn't do a great job with diapers (front loader).
