Hugs momma. I know how scary bleeding is (this is the 2nd time I've had one in a pregnancy. DS is almost 3 so there ya go). If baby is measuring on track and HB is good, that's half the battle.
Thanks. I know it happens in pregnancies that turn out to be fine, but with my loss history, I just can't bring myself to believe that it'll be ok.
Now I'm sitting here avoiding going to the hospital for rhogam. I have to get blood drawn in the lab and then go up to L&D to get the shot. It's like a 2 hour process and I don't want to go.

Ugh bethkate, I'm sorry you're going through this. I'm glad your ultrasound today at least went well and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you all day today! Hugs.
theloveparade, I already know I am not a twin mom I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though, haha.
I definitely get stretching feelings and sometimes if I bend over or stand up wrong I pull my ab muscles a bit! But nothing that I would consider to be like kicking (although having never been pregnant yet I don't know what that feels like). Also, it seems like any time I have a tummy ache/gas pains it's in a weird place now, like on the furthest outside layer of my belly (noooo idea how to explain what I mean).
OMG lgraceh, that sounds stressful, but you might as well just rip the bandaid off and get it over with Better than having to move at 8mos!
When are we going to start bump pics? Anyone else have one yet?
theloveparade, When I had my ultrasound in emerg over the weekend, they said they found a cyst on each ovary. I know in early pregnancy its common for there to be a cyst on the ovary that ovulated. So did I ovulate from both sides? Was my bleed a vanishing twin? It's a mystery. Doc said it was possible.
I'm curious to know who the twin mom or moms are. I'm thinking statistically there must be at least one set of twins among us. Right?
I would think so, yes. There was one set on my F14 BMB.
Google tells me that the odds are 1/67 with chances increasing above age 35. That is actually more common than I thought.
It was definitely a concern for me, because with clomiphene and an IUI I think your chances double, so like 1/34! I also knew I was ovulating three eggs. I am just so happy to have any that worked, but I suppose I would have accepted more than one. Three would have been pretty hard on me at 5'2 though I think!
blabbermouth, I've been taking a weekly photo, but they're all bloat right now. My thought was end of first tri? Though we can start whenever everyone is ready!

cnf2013, @thatgolfbitch, I think mine is maybe a bit of a true belly, but the bloating just adds to it, especially at night. Might help us all to feel better about our bloating if we act like it's a cute belly instead, hahaha. I suppose I'm also one of the earlier due dates in here.

I start the day with a small baby bump and it becomes more bloat over the day. The baby bump section is more in my uterus area and the bloat part is higher on my abdomen. I have a short torso and no where to hide a growing uterus. I'm also one of the earlier dates too (11/5). Oh and 2nd baby here.

@thatgolfbitch, LLR is my best friend right now. My jeans haven't buttoned for two weeks now. I was wearing a flow-y dress yesterday and the wind made it tight across my belly. DH was like yeaaaa... you definitely look pregnant and sweetly patted my bump lol.
I will tell my boss in two weeks when he returns from vacation so I won't be trying to hide it anymore then! And I will totally break out maternity pants.

I am "showing" but I'm pretty sure it's a food belly that has nowhere to hide with my uterus taking up so much space now. I'll be 9 weeks on Friday and this is my second pregnancy. I was 5-10 lbs overweight to start so I've looked pregnant for like the last 6 months, lol. I'm so glad I invested in a bunch of loose tops last fall, at least they kind of hide the belly. I'm not ready to put it on display yet!
buttercup, I wouldn't think anything of the name at all. DH was always trying to get me to name DD a name of someone he knew or was acquainted with. It was as if he was like "oh that's a nice name, let's use it" without ever thinking that someone he knows might think it's weird? He also didn't get when I vetoed a name because it reminded me of someone I didn't like LOL
No bump here yet, I am more bloated but doing ok in clothes. I guess that's what happens when you lose 20 lbs before you get KU. I weighed myself this morning and I'm down another 1.5 lbs, no clue how. And now I'm sitting at work STARVING. I ate a decent breakfast and lunch but neither has quenched the hunger today.
Thanks, everyone. Ultrasound was good. Baby measured 9w6d (I'm 9+4) with a heart rate of 183 (up from 166 last week). I'm still not confident things will continue to go well, but it's not over yet.
I hope your pregnancy continues to go well. Did they have any explanation for the bleeding?
So, I'm on the maternity floor at the hospital waiting for my rhogam. They're putting me in my own room rather than the labor room like last time, so I appreciate that. They seem to know I'm here because of a threatened miscarriage and are being gentle with me, which is nice.

Nope. No explanation. This has happened to me before and I miscarried two weeks later, so that's why I'm still not hopeful.
DD2 has tap and ballet Wednesday mornings. This morning was a struggle to get her ready because she didn't want her ballet shoes on she wanted to tap tap tap instead. I finally won the struggle got her to ballet only to realize there's no class this week. Ugh. She's cute though
I also just posted this in the weekly check in instead of randoms… My brain is fried

((HUGS)) bethkate, I've been thinking of you. I'm glad you have a good care team and they continue to be sensitive and accommodating. Will they schedule you another ultrasound for next week to put your mind at ease?

I've got a permanent baby bump from DS so I think it will be awhile before I notice anything with this one. Thankfully my normal clothes still fit so far.
I am a little scared of this one being twins though.
We're going to a steakhouse tonight. DS is getting braces put on tomorrow morning so we're hooking him up with lots of steak since it's gonna be awhile til he can eat it again. I'm going to eat so much.

I don't know what I'll do if this is twins... we were hoping for twins with DD2, but this pregnancy was a complete surprise.
