Yesterday was jetlag hell! Between the two boys I was awake from 1am. DS1 was up for the day at 4am (I was so happy to drop him off at daycare) and H was up for the day at 3am. He took a 2hr nap mid morning but was awake the rest of the time until he crashed at 5pm. It was exhausting. Thankfully we slept well and is just up for the day now. DS1 for up at 6 so hopefully they're back on CA time.
This morning will be swimming lessons and library. Not sure about this afternoon yet by maybe a park or the Zoo.
DH has just gone for his workout. I'm 99% sure he has forgotten it's my birthday today...

The whole weekend will be low key not much special. I slept until 9:30 which was nice. E is definitely teething. Ahhhhhh
In other news there were several small issues with the nanny yesterday that left me upset and in a bad mood. Small issues E was happy and fed but still annoying anyway. Some of the details do matter some ill let go for now and some I need to address on Monday. Sigh.
I'm glad E was happy after her day with the many peaseblossom55, but sorry you have done issues to address. Hopefully the nanny will do everything you want going forward.
We went a preserve this morning and did about two miles. I wore dd in the ergo and ds walked it all except the last hill back to the parking lot. Indy loved being able to run off leash. Mh is outside mowing and I vacuumed and spot cleaned the family room carpet. I'm motivated but now ds is up from his nap and cranky and dd is fussing so everything is paused. It's our last free weekend for two months. I'm exhausted looking at our schedule.
Loooove bang bang shrimp rinny. My mom makes a good copy cat recipe.
peaseblossom55 teeth! How are our munchkins getting so big?! Sorry about the nanny issues but it sounds like you have a good plan about picking and choosing which ones to address first.
heybulldog56 lucky! Sleeping in sounds heavenly right now.
Went on the gym this morning but didn't get a good workout because I had to keep stopping for my screaming baby. She has continued to scream mostly all day. It is grating on my soul and I was to slam my head against a wall.
Driving to a going away party now for friends who are moving. Toddler is singing to herself in the backseat. Baby has finally fallen asleep. I might try to nap on the drive.

Quiet weekend here. DH is working until dinner time as usual. It's rainy and gross out; last night we had a very rare thunderstorm with even rarer hail! It was crazypants.
DS is happy watching Roadster Racers and N is doing playtime on her mat. Just finished lunch for everyone. Baby laundry is running.
I might play video games during naptime. I haven't touched them in months and I want to finish Dragon Age 2 before my leave is up.

Up with N. She didn't want to go to bed until 10:30 and then fussed herself back to sleep at least twice. Was hoping for better than 6.5 hours. But she'll go back to bed.
Thinking about actually making bacon and eggs this morning. It was our Sunday tradition but I haven't had energy or been up early enough since she was born

silvermelody, bacon and eggs sounds so good right now.
We had a rough night. B was up every two hours to eat and, when he was asleep, he was so loud thanks to a stuffy nose. Dh and I both slepts poorly/ didn't sleep much since we alternated waking up with B. He is currently going through leap 3 and I'm hoping that's the reason for this mess.
IL, SIL and BIL are coming over for the day and I will for sure take advantage and get a nap in at some point.
carrots, why did you cut the swaddle? Is M rolling?
Heading to an egg hunt. Big girls is super excited. I combined two different breakfast casserole recipes. If it turned out yummy, I'll post the recipe.

I'm tired it took E forever to fall asleep. She has ballerina wall art she loves and spent half an hour talking to it and wouldn't fall asleep. Her 3-6 month clothes are already getting small so I need to wash and add the 6 month clothes to her dresser drawers and try on the dress my sister gave me from her daughter for Easter.
carrots wow at rolling swaddled already! I am not looking forward to the swaddle transition.
Also mega jealous of you ladies who have babies sleeping until morning! I had been getting 7-7.5 hours, but now it's been closer to 6. Still isn't bad, but he goes down at 7:30. I feel like it's manageable though and his wakeups never last long.
