I'm up nursing B. Got a 4 hour stretch the first round and barely a 3 hour stretch after that. I can't really complain. I'm just ready for only 1 or no wake ups. Wishful thinking for sure.
I've been following MOC closely during the day. My problem is at night which is probably why we're still having 2 or more wake ups. I'm just lazy and would rather pop a boob in his mouth than have to come in his nursery every 5 minutes to shush/pat him to soothe him.
I'm ready for that, too ladytiffany24. Also, when exhausted it seems reasonable to try to get to your desired sleep as quickly as possible. But I guess less sleep for a few nights = more in the long run. L seems to sleep really well for her first stretch, then she will be up every hour to 1.5 hours.
I was so tired H helped coax L to sleep. I think I got a 3-4 hour stretch just now!!! I had to actually wake L up, that never happens. Changed his diaper, sat down to nurse and he audibly pooped again lol. Hoping I can get him to settle again so I can get another 3 hour stretch!

Mine just did this too. A giant farty poop right after I changed her. Silly babies.
If there's such a thing as infant TMI this is it. Baby has stringy mucus in his poop. Thinking I'll call the nurses line this morning. DD had this then blood in her poo at 6 weeks bc of a cows milk protein intolerance. Ugh

I've been thinking about changing our memorial day weekend plans but can't decide if I'm being ridiculous or smart. We have reservations at the campground with alllll of our camping friends. Get there Thursday, come home Monday. Dh would be gone all of Sunday for work. He'd leave at 5:30 Sunday and get back up there at like 9:30 Monday. That means I would be by myself with the 3 year old and DD will be close to 3 months. There is one decent playground and that's about it as far as easy activities. A few friends have boats so going on the lake is maybe an option, but not its raining. But then I have to deal with DD having to stay on the boat with someone so I can get in the water with ds or ds having to get in with someone else and that probably wouldn't fly.
I think we need to plan on coming home Saturday evening. I've been nervous about that whole Sunday since I realized Dh works and that's not relaxing at all.
I'm around. We need to go grocery shopping but I hate going places with DD still because she won't fall/stay asleep in the carseat so I have to wear her and she's heavy.
Up, watching April. Feeding dd2. Dd1 is happily eating pancakes at the table. H is making me an egg sandwich and I've got a hot cup of coffee. I feel like I'm winning right now and am going to savor this moment.
It's been pouring all night and morning. We are gonna make a trip to the mall, then I've got some easter crafts planned with dd1 as well as making cookies. I've got to hard boil some eggs for tomorrow and put together the easter baskets.
A friend bought me a silicone breast pump. It's amazing. I've used it twice while nursing. I got 2 and 3 ounces the two times I used it. I'm not ready to start pumping yet, so I love that I can start saving some.

Ugh, hoping it isn't that again. Dd1 had the same thing and I've been on the lookout for it with dd2 too.
erinshelley21 - so any of your friends that will be there have kids? If yes, than I think staying would be fun. If they're like my friends though - without kids and don't want kids, I think I would rather go home early.

There is a boy a year older than ds and one 18 months younger. The rest are 6+. We might just play it by ear since I don't think we can get our money back for Sunday anyway.

bookish hope they can call something in for you! I've also heard that athletes foot cream works, and you can wipe it off before a feed with warm water or a baby wipe.
. you should go anyway - I'm sure they won't mind if you're a bit late - it's hard to get somewhere in time with new babies even when you do have the right car, etc.
erinshelley21 I would probably assume I'd leave Saturday, and stay if things feel right/are going well.
C went down at 11:15, and was up at 3:30. He woke up again at 6:30 and H got up with him and I slept in. It was awesome!
Currently feeding the babe, and then we have a few friends coming by in about an hour who haven't met little man yet. I'm super excited for adult interaction! The weather is gorgeous, so going to spend some time outside later.
A few days ago, maybe a week, I mentioned in a thread that I was having moments of "why did we have a baby?"...The last two or three days have been pretty good, and I've actually really been digging being a mom. (Now that I've said that, he'll probably scream all day/night, but right now it's a lot better!!)
bookish the LCs gave me a cream recipe that you put on between feedings that clears it up. I used it with ds and it did help. I just mixed it in a snack size ziploc so it was always made and ready.
