Thank you all for your many wise words. No drainage in her eyes after a long morning nap, so I am leaning towards this being part of her cold. I'm keeping close watch for any escalating of symptoms.

We are moving!!! DH is taking a new position with his company in VA! I'm so excited for this new adventure yet equally terrified at the same time. I've desperately wanted to move out of our neighborhood for the last year so that part is great. Currently feeling really overwhelmed though about finding a new house, daycare, school, etc. Being further away from our families will suck but I am really ready for a change. Fingers crossed my company will approve my work from home request!
I cleaned out my closet yesterday and moved my winter clothes to our spare room closet. I cleaned out my car last week and detailed it yesterday as well.
One thing I love about the changing of the season to spring is cleaning out and starting fresh. It feels so good!!
rachydc, I have it and really only use it to track my activity and as a watch. I usually have my phone with me so there isn't really a reason for me to use it to check email, texts, etc. I like it well enough though.

Hope all you sick people feel better!
Max had the eye doctor at 915, we got there at 840. They finally called him back at 10 to dilate his eyes, then again at 1055 to actually do the exam. He was beyond pissed and wouldn't open his eyes so I got to hold him while he screamed and they forced his eyes open. Tried to explain that's why we scheduled his appointment 2 hours BEFORE his nap time and got there even earlier. Then I had to rush to the OB for my appointment at 1115.
But after that I went to target and got all the stuff for Easter next year(except the candy) for less than 6 dollars. Target makes everything better.
Soccer is rained out for the day. Tryouts are postponed until next week.
anfranklin2, I * hate * the eye doctor with young kids. We had to pin DD1 down every.single.appointment for...years. Glad you got a Target trip out of it though!
beepers this is common practice in some parts of the world (puerto Rico for example). Maybe that's why?
Well I found out one patient rode the bus so I get that. The other one just wanted to be seen early. Eh. As long as they don't get mad if they have to wait I guess it's ok with me

I have a patient who always comes hours early. He's old and it's a small town so everyone knows everyone. He makes it a social thing and just talks to his friends who happen to be in the waiting room. I find it weird, but apparently he's always done it.

Last week of classes at one university and finals week at the other. Of course this is when my computer decided to start giving me a blue screen of death +error to install an operating system. So far I have been able to get it back on. Since I literally cannot go without a computer even one day the next 2 weeks, I placed an amazon order to get a replacement for when it does die. Please let it make it until Wednesday!
T is screaming in his crib, yet again. This is day three of no nap at the new house. And D dropped a brick on his big toe. Awesome. It's bruising and swelling, but nothing too crazy. Even if he broke it, there's nothing the doctor can do, right? Is there any reasons I should take him in?
In other news, I'm making major headway on unpacking! My closet, boys' bookshelf, and toys are the major things left.
Definitely keep an eye on it. Big toe is actually important, other toes are sort of optional. They'll do more for a big toe if it's broken - though I agree that if he's walking on it it's probably not broken.

EmMilAlly , kristhegirl I'm over here wondering if I should just go ahead and trade the 2 boxes of 4s I have in for 3s... If you could have them tell Molly that it's cool to weigh more than 20 pounds I would appreciate it.

I have a niece (actually a great-niece! Ah!) who was just a tiny thing - she didn't hit 30 pounds until after she turned 3. I have a bunch of hand-me-down clothes from her that are 2T and 3T that she wore within the last year - she turned 5 in August. She's just little.
Hang on to those diapers. She'll be in them eventually!

He's walking, but doing a weird penguin waddle thing. I'm making him keep his tennis shoes on to protect it. And of course he won't keep ice on it...
Hmmm. If he's still walking funny tomorrow I'd probably take him in. Will he put all his weight on that foot? Is the bruising very dark?
Toes are so tricky. If you have some athletic tape, you could try splinting it to the next toe.

For the first time in years we actually filed our taxes on time! This never happens for us. Even better is we're both getting money back, I was definitely thinking I would owe because I was on mat leave for part of the year. Hooray! Too bad we're being adults and paying our property tax, water bill, and using the rest for child care costs. Boo adulting. I want to just take the money and buy fun stuff.

DD2 was barely in size 4s - as in, I used them because I had them- when she PTed at almost 3. She wore AB's pants as shorts recently. She's NINE.
Some kids are just small! My oldest couldn't be built more differently.

California is really putting a crimp in my small business plan. I find it pretty ridiculous that they require a minimum $800 tax that's required pretty much upon filing (okay within like 4 months, but still). I guess it's extra motivation to hustle and sell... le sigh.

Oooh mrsbeachcat did you post what your idea is already and I missed it?
Does anyone have a balance bike for their J15 toddler? I d going to get a push trike but after doing some reading I am leaning toward a balance bike instead. But I'm having trouble picturing E using it! Even though they say 18 months +.

I'm keeping Elena home from preschool tomorrow. She's just so snotty, and took two really long naps today. She's in good spirits when she's awake but this is not "it could be allergies" colors coming out of her face.
But oy, now I have to have both kids tomorrow, too.
@mamabear02 I feel like every illness this winter left a lingering cough. So, so annoying. I hope your house is on the mend soon!
