Oooh mrsbeachcat did you post what your idea is already and I missed it?
Does anyone have a balance bike for their J15 toddler? I d going to get a push trike but after doing some reading I am leaning toward a balance bike instead. But I'm having trouble picturing E using it! Even though they say 18 months +.
My friend and I are creating a little kids clothing company! Right now we just have unisex headbands but hope to expand quickly. Here's Bill wearing one:
We have a couple of different styles and have been pretty lucky to know some friends that are helping us get into local boutiques, but I think we will primarily be online.

We have one! They definitely are old enough. O prefers to push the scooter but my neighbor boy has been riding his for a month or so and he'll be 2 in May. All my kids started on one and they were easy to transition to pedal bikes - ds2 took training wheels off while he was 3 and never fell. I love them. Strider brand makes the lightest one. It's a bit $$ but I'm using it on kid 3 and it's still great.
rachydc I have an Apple Watch. The main reason I like it is to track my blood sugar. So obviously this would not apply to you. I like that I can use Spotify with wireless headphones when I run.
jnetx there is not much to be done with a broken toe. I hope that T feels better soon.

I am so busy this week, I just want to collapse. I got conned into covering a class last period of the day and I wanted to strangle some. They were terrible and I really don't think I could ever go back to 6th grade.
In other news, DS1 had "chocolate penis" at daycare today. Turns out it was the chocolate that looks like coins. He calls all coins penis instead of penny.
Louis is in size 2 as well and Henry is busting out of his size 5s. How is time going so fast?
DS1 has been in size 5's for almost a year now. DS2 is big enough for 2's already, but I already committed to opening a box of size 1's so I'm trying to make as many of those work as possible... FX for no major blowouts. 😬
LO is almost ready for size 2's. I'm just hoping I can finish out the box I have... how do they grow so fast!?
My house is nuts right now. We have family staying with us and tomorrow is my first day back in the office, which is also MY ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW and a meeting with c level execs. What?!! On my first day back with Henry all I did was eat half (closer to all) of a coffee cake and find the pumping room.

Anyone have periods come super early?? I've always been one to be pretty regular. Usually every 29 days. Lately it seems like my period is coming a few days earlier each month. And last month it was almost like I was ovulating while ON my period, with the symptoms I was having. Well I had my period earlier this month and already have it again. About 2.5 weeks after. I've gained weight and I'm almost 33 if that makes any difference.

Are you stressed or sick? On BC? Are you really tracking or does it just feel this way? Are the periods heavy or more spotting? Have you peed on anything? #nohelp #nosy
Always stressed I guess. Just got over slight cold with runny nose and cough. No meds. No BC. I don't track per say but I know dates of when it starts. I was towards the end of my cycle when my SO got home on April 7th. They seem a little different but nothing crazy. Maybe slightly lighter? I POAS like a week before that period started because even though we barely have sex, I was starting to get paranoid after W told me I had a baby in my belly 😳
Haha Hailey stepped on our bathroom scale and it said 33lb the other day. She is almost as big as the smallest kids in Peyton's preschool class (and I'm sure weighs more than some of them). Peyton is also 40-45lb and the biggest in her class. My kids are just solid.
Ugh I got a letter from the IRS that they need copies of everything (I guess to verify that we are not trying to scam anyone) and they said it will be another 6-8 weeks before we get our return. Ugh!

Mine have been wonky since weaning. At first, heavy and close together, now regular and barely there. I can't remember if you've weaned W or not.
I completely weaned in November. It was kind of normal after but that is true that it could be related.

pixiepink24 - I had a few months where I was having a period every couple of weeks and they were heavy for the most part. No reason for it really. My cycles were nonexistent, like 1-3 a year, before kids. After DS2, they've become more regular (35-40 days). That every 2 week phase was about a year ago. I want to say it lasted 3-4 months and then just stopped. It's no fun though.
Soccer is rained out for the day. Tryouts are postponed until next week.
anfranklin2, I * hate * the eye doctor with young kids. We had to pin DD1 down every.single.appointment for...years. Glad you got a Target trip out of it though!
Seriously, it was so awful. His first 2 appointments(12 and 18mos) were awesome. He did great, loved the dr. This time was a trifecta of crap basically with him being tired, hungry, and sick of being stuck in one room. Very thankful it's a once every 6 months issue!
catladymeow, pixiepink24 remembers correctly! We have a Strider and have since my oldest was about 18 months. It's not the tallest, so my boys had to get bigger bikes before they really could be fully striding. I still feel like it made a huge difference; learning to ride a bike was no big deal after my oldest overcame the anxiety from it! I'm fully confident that my second will be without training wheels this summer (he turns 5 next week). Kara won't let anyone else even touch it now; it is HERS, lol

imavera thanks! Which bike did you upgrade too when they outgrew the Strider? E is very tall so I wonder if I'm better off getting one that can grow with her or if that's just not possible and should stick with a smaller frame now and upgrade later if needed.

We went straight to a normal bike. My second son just got a 16 inch for Christmas this past year. So, it lasted him until 4.5, although he wasn't able to lift his legs up at the end of last year.
imavera How tall is DS2? We are getting Liv a regular bike soon and the 16inch looks so massive, but it seems to be what she needs based on the charts.
Did you use training wheels for a bit and then take them off or treat it like a balance bike just with pedals? I'm scared for the transition.
I have no idea how tall he is, lol! He has his 5 year check-up next week, so I can tell you then He's not too far below my oldest. I'm fairly confident it's a 16 inch, and it has training wheels on it still. When we have a free weekend (heck, even an afternoon!) DH will take him to the park to get him confidently riding without them. At this point, it's only fear that keeps him wanting them.
