I have a unicorn saint baby. She slept last night from 9:30-5:30. I fed her, put her back down, and she's still sleeping 2.5 hours later.
Cute and a good sleeper? I hit the baby lottery!
Today I've got a call with the freelance folks, then DH and I may do some groceries. I need to get back in touch with some lawyers, we've got marriage counseling, and with some luck, I'll get to cleaning.

My baby confuses me.
We had PT yesterday and he typically naps for 1-2 hours afterwards. He napped for 5 hours! DH finally woke him up at 8:30 then R was up until 10:30 then slept till 5:45, then is still sleeping after that bottle. I already checked his temp since I was wondering if he was coming down with my cold but he is fine.
I start up band rehearsals again tonight, it's been 4 long months since my last gig and I can't wait to go and get back into the swing of things but to have my first bout of me time that doesn't involve grocery shopping! Nervous part is that I have a babysitter until DH gets home from work. She is a dear friend of mine but I am still nervous of leaving R with someone who is not DH.

Sometimes I wanna say that to J. You ain't getting away with anything, chick!
C slept well last night, too. FX he keeps it up!
I need to hit the gym, swap C's clothes (put the 3/3-6M away and get out the 6M), do some light cleaning, and make some freezer stuff. When did this kid outgrow 3-6M clothing?! He's only 10.5w old! :-(
I made up dinner last night and it was a big hit! Puff pastry brushed with Dijon, sprinkled with parsley and garlic powder, then I layered ham and Swiss in one and ham and cheddar in the other, cut em in slices and baked. Yum! Served with a side salad. J gobbled it up.

It's sunny so I'm taking DD and the baby to the playground for a bit. Then once DD is at school I need to do my taxes (deadline is Sunday here). Exciting stuff!

oldbaylover1024 - I hear you about C growing out of his clothes already. Mine is on the verge of jumping to 3-6 month clothing at 8 weeks with his height! I can get away with the pajamas for about another week at most.
I dropped both kids off at the baby sitter today for a trial run before next week. I'm currently at the hair salon with my Starbucks getting pampered😌 After hair I'm going to do some shopping for house decor, get some lunch and possibly go see beauty and the beast before picking the munchkins back up!

We had a rough night over here between boob pain and S's post-shot fussiness. I just had a huge cup of coffee and see more in my future. But S is back to being cheerful and although my boob still hurts, I think I got the clog out. I actually used the Zyrtec to lower my supply since I was pumping so much yesterday, and it worked well for that.
I got S a black and white board book. She likes the black drawings on the white background but not the white drawings on black. It's pretty funny. This is the first book she has actually paid any attention to.

C is back at school today, thank goodness! Yesterday went well with both boys. I just had a minor breakdown towards the end of the day when I was trying to feed R and C felt the need to be sitting basically in top of me and wouldn't stop touching me and the baby. I needed to escape from my own skin and run away.
R slept better last night then he had lately. His first stretch was almost 5 hours, the night before his first stretch was only 2.5. But I then he took 45 minutes to go back down and then woke up less than 2 hours later. I'm still v selling the night a win in general. It so tempting to just put him in the rnp knowing he will sleep much better, but I keep reminding myself better to get him used to it now then when I'm back at work.
Hoping to get some exercise today and put away clothes he has grown out of and also organize maternity clothes of stuff that will be given to sil and stuff to be donated.

This is us, too. Her wrists stick out of all her onesies, and I've had to put half of her 3 month clothes away because her neckline pulls down to her chest.

I hope your boob pain goes away for good, notagoddess! And FX for better sleep now that the shots are over. It seems like either babies are fussy all night long, or pass out and get amazing sleep after those shots. Not looking forward to that in two weeks.
crazycatlady6, enjoy your band rehearsal tonight! I'm sure baby will be fine (though I get the nervousness - I was nervous last week when we left C for the first time)
I'm glad many of you had good night's sleeps! C had a pretty good night too, with her usual wakeup of 2:30 (I'm seriously laughing at her habitual wakeup at this time, no matter what time she went to bed) and then not again until 6:00 when I brought her to bed to snuggle sleep.
We are hanging out at home again. It's rainy and dreary and cold again. So... laundry, cleaning, etc. I might try to make banana muffins for F with some brown bananas we have. Exciting times
Ok, I'm #new right now. We have clothes that are 3m, 3-6m, and 6m. Are the 3-6 kind of in between the whole sizes? LO is outgrowing some of her 3m stuff, but I put 6m stuff on her and it is comically huge.

I do not recall this problem with DS.
From what I understand 3-6 is the same as 6, just different brands use different size conventions. S has outgrown some of her 0-3 and 3 stuff but others still fit. Probably the next size up would be loose on her still.

I find it depends on the brand but in a perfect world the 3-6 month are in between. We really just do trial and error and if it's way too big when we put it on him it goes back in the next size up drawer.

oldbaylover1024 R is in 6 month Jammie's and 3-6 month onesies and pants. 3 month pants are too tight around her belly! And she's 11 weeks old tomorrow, so I feel you on the fast growing!
I think we have turned the corner with sleep finally. (I'm afraid of jinxing it though!!) Not only is R sleeping much longer stretches she also put herself to sleep last night, and after a MOTN wake up! I am hoping that all my struggles have really paved the way for a good sleeper. We are months ahead of where we were with K for sleep at this point. Fingers crossed she keeps it up!
I'm home from the gym and feeling great. Going to have another cup of coffee and hang with the little ones. It's rainy here, so I'm sure K will be restless soon enough.
notagoddess we have a little black and white baby book in a sample of Enfamil. DD1 never paid any attention to it, but it will entertain baby for an hour. Kids are so funny with their preferences. Hope your clog is really gone! Edit to fix paragraphs, but something is glitchy with Tapatalk
notagoddess sorry about the boob pain, I hope you got the clog and the pain goes away soon.
I was told that 3-6 = 6. That being said the sizes range SO MUCH by brand. I always find that Old Navy and Gap run very small. I always need at least one size up in those.

Got both girls alone this morning until DH comes to pick us up. We're going to show off the baby at my office and I have to turn in some timekeeping paperwork. Currently baby is napping and DD is chasing me around with booger filled tissues yelling "all done mommy!"

sweetieheart32 I actually don't even have to go to the park for the playground, I live in an apartment building and there's a playground inside the condo's grounds. It's right beneath my window actually. I should get to the actual park more often though!
oldbaylover1024 My boys grow out of the onesies for length well before they grow out of pants.
shellbell I use 3-6m the same as 6m. Different brands use different designations, but even the printed size is not reliable for fit. L still fits a couple of 3m onesies, wears mostly 6m clothes (pants are too long), and has one or two 9m pieces that are really small for 9m. I'm not terribly concerned about exact fit as long as it's not absurdly huge or squishing on the diaper (no compression leaks, please).
All four kids STTN. Now I need to get to bed before midnight since we have to get up at 6:30 to have any chance of getting the kids to daycare by 7:30. Today we made it around 8:05, so I need to do more prep the night before and haul my ass out of bed without hitting snooze.

I had my IUD recheck this morning. Everything looked good, so back at work with DS2. He just put himself to sleep in the RNP. This baby is so good at that. If he could just sleep longer!
We are in the in-between on clothes too. Some 3 month stuff still fits, like PJs. But some stuff, like onesies we are in 3-6 or 6. I find Carters runs small too. We have about 1,000,000 carters 6m onesies from DS1. MIL and my mom bought all of them, they were so excited to buy boy clothes. We have so many 6m+ clothes. SO. MANY. I really need to pack away the itty bitty stuff. I'm secretly going DH will see me do it and get sentimental and then get on board with #3. He's "70% committed" right now.

musicallyinclined, I was going through my 9-month clothes from DS to see if I could use anything for DD, and I got all sentimental. I really hope I have another little boy someday and can reuse some of those cute little boy clothes! (We have a ton of 6 month clothes from DS too. It's almost exclusively what people got me for him at my showers. Crazy amounts of clothes.)
