My fun task today is figuring out how to ship/pack/carry on all of my breastmilk from this trip. My company uses this business called Milkstork to cover shipping for traveling mothers, so I have these coolers I can use to keep the milk cold. I just have to arrange for a FedEx pickup and then worry about what I pump between now and when I land tonight.
I also have to find a place to pump in the hotel after I check out of my room. The ATL airport has these little nursing/pumping pods in the terminals, so that's pretty cool and I should be set there. Ugh. Traveling while pumping is hard.

I am on my way to work nothing exciting. I know a lot of people said they were having supply issues and lactation cookies. @preaseblossom55 thelittleredmellabee and anyone I forgot, I have a lactation cookie recipe that I can share when I get home. They taste awesome and my H tries to steal them from me if you guys want it?
ellabee I didn't know that about the Atlanta airport! That's my home base so I'll have to keep that in mind next time I travel. Good luck coordinating the shipment. I'm so glad your company provides that!
Yeah, they're neat! Crappy pic below. I wish they had sinks, but it was comfy and private and had an outlet, so I'm not complaining!

How is it only Wednesday? Gross. I'm feeling blah today. It's another gray rainy day. The third in a row but the rain is suppose to stop today. The weather combined with the busy weekend means I haven't been walking which I'm sure isn't helping. It's also one of those weeks where I have a bajillion things I want to get done but can't get ahead. Additionally, this leap is killing me. Grumpy McGrump over here.
Hope the weather cheers up sin lakegirl so you can get your walk.
I've not posted in a few days as H has been unusually off recently. I have no idea if it's leap 4, reflux worsening, or switching to formula but so much grumpiness! His naps have gone to crap, he's crying angrily and very loudly much more often, seems to have tummy troubles and is up 2-4 times during the night now. 2 of those he's hungry, the other times he's just mad because he's woke up on his tummy and can't seem to roll back. Needless to say, I'm exhausted and emotional so my first day back at work today is sure to be fun. DH is nervously looking forward to day 1 as solo parent, Or at least putting on a brave face about it.

ellabee, I love how accommodating your work is! That's really wonderful.
carrots, I will pray for you. No coffee is a travesty. Any way you'd be able to take a break during the day to go grab some?
lakegirl, I too am feeling blah. The shitty weather doesn't help. And of course today is the day we are watching a Holocaust documentary prior to reading Anne Frank so... it's gonna be an uber depressing day.

carrots, T&P to you ellabee, good luck today with the pumping, you are amazing for going through all of that. ambiguousmango, I made lactation cookies while on leave, they were yummy but did nothing to help my supply.
I am super tired, like dizzy tired. I don't know why I got the same amount of sleep as always. I blame the dreary weather I guess.
lakegirl, LT for leap hell. I love feeling needed, but mommy has to go to work some times.
bazinga, good like to YH on his first day. Hopefully you can figure out what's bothering H and can resolve it.
Does anyone want a free H? Mine is up for sale or trade this morning. Shit, I'll even give him away. He does dishes and laundry. However, he does not understand "shhhh" when I get baby dozing off for her first morning nap (immediately after her 1st wakeup). I saw my day going down the tubes at 7:30am. 😩
Good news is after he left I got her to take a nap, but it's 2 hours late and I don't know what that will do for our day. I had such high hopes for this day off.
peaseblossom55, I hope you feel better. It could be weather, allergies, etc. seems to be bad for a lot this year. Luckily I have seemed to escape allergies this year, NO idea how.

The mombrain is strong today. I'm trying to make a recipe for date bars. It requires a food processor but all I've got is our baby bullet. I fill up the bullet with the finely beaten walnuts, dates and melted coconut oil and go to move it from counter to stand... all over the floor. I forgot to screw on the bottom first. 🤦♀️

I am ready for 5pm so much. In good news though, I've had two really good interviews with nannies who are coming for home interviews at the end of this week. I'd be really happy with either one of them. I feel so much more relieved about it and both are way better than my current nanny.

That's great news! I know how stressful searching for a nanny can be.

I just noticed that the Jan18 BMB has been created. I can't believe it's been a year since we got/ started getting out BFP. I'm still surprised that I have two kids. WTF!?
