I'm sitting eating lunch by myself before heading to a day spa for a massage and pedicure 😍. It's my husbands go to gift for my birthday but I am totally okay with it! Looking forward to a relaxing day by myself. Happy birthday rinny! I have always loved having an April birthday!

ellabee, that's awesome your company does that. I was just saying yesterday how stressful travel and pumping will be for me, and I'll only be gone 2 days. And those pumping pods are amazing. During our vacation to Florida in February I just used the Companion Care restrooms, locked the door and pumped in a crappy bathroom. It sucked but I had no other choice.
ambiguousmango, yes please! I made some a few weeks ago and they didn't taste great and did nothing for my supply. I'm willing to give the cookies another shot though!
bazinga, oh boo. I hope H figures things out so you can get more sleep. And big hugs for your first day back!
carrots, so glad you got some coffee! That's seriously the worst.
One of the women in our office pumping room left some MilkFlow packets and I grabbed a bunch. I've never tried it before but it gets great reviews on Amazon so I'm giving it a shot. You mix it with water and it actually doesn't taste too horrible. FX my supply goes up even 1/2 an ounce each session. At this point anything would be a win!
I just realized I should start rotating through my freezer stash.. Ugh, I really don't want to pull out frozen milk and freeze more every day, but better than it expiring?

Yes, absolutely! Do it before it expires! I wish I had a stash to rotate.

Ladies who work outside the home, do you have a system for your pumped milk from Friday to Monday? Do you just freeze it Friday night and pull it out Sunday to use Monday at daycare? Or do you just keep it in the fridge since it's only 3 days between? Since I EP I rotate the pumped milk from Friday into Noah's Sunday feeds, and then use the Sunday pumped milk Monday, but I'm wondering if I'm overthinking this.

Low supply here but what I pump is used for the next day, no freezing or anything.

peaseblossom55, glad the nanny search is going well. And please can yourIL come to my house next for crib nap training?
This morning went slowly but ok. I haven't cried so that's a win. DH said everything is under control and sent some cute pictures. Unfortunately everyone who has come into my office to say welcome back had them proceeded to vent about how bad things are and how they can't wait for me too fix things. Yay.
I just noticed that the Jan18 BMB has been created. I can't believe it's been a year since we got/ started getting out BFP. I'm still surprised that I have two kids. WTF!?
On a similar note I'm surprised to see early 2016s in the toddler board, but they are 12+ months! DS was definitely toddling at that age.
summergirl1211 , I only work Tues-Thurs. I freeze Thursday's pumped milk then pull some out of the freezer for Tuesday's bottles and top off with Monday night's excess output (I pump for her bedtime bottle and usually pump more than I need). Does that make sense? I overthink every single part of pumping!
Yes, makes sense carrots, thanks! Between work, EPing, and low supply I'm constantly overthinking what milk to use when, how much to put in each bottle, when to give it to Noah, and when to add in the formula. It's maddening.

So I have been dreading this, I pulled out my first block of frozen (from back in December) out of the deep freezer last night, and I'm afraid to start using it. Will he take it? will it mess with his stomach? should I buy that vanilla to add?
carrots,summergirl1211, YES! I call this milk math, how many oz did I make, how big should I make the bottles, is it night milk or day milk, do I freeze it now? this is why I can't remember anything else. Brain is full, too many browsers open.
We didn't get any of the predicted sun. It's still gloomy out but it stopped raining so I got a walk in. I wore dd so ds could take his trike (with the adult steering handle) out for a spin. It's only the second time we've used it this season. I feel a little guilty I'm always putting him in the double stroller because he loves his trike.
I have some sauce simmering on the stove. This makes me want garlic bread but I will be healthy and resist. Read: I'm too lazy to haul everyone to the store to buy the proper bread.

Im busy stuffing my face with a frosty from Wendys. I ran out to Ikea and didn't get what I wanted, but came out with $100 worth of random crap.
I *think* I got my bfp on May 5? It was super early, 9 dpo I think. It's so strange that one day Finley was an idea, and the next he was a person. Amazing what can happen in 5 minutes on the living room couch

My day continues...
Sangria on the porch of my favorite restaurant, waiting for mh to meet me with the kids. Last year we did this kid free but I couldn't drink so I guess it's a good trade off.
ETA my Bfp was April 21 so no massage or drinking last year.
Mine was May 20, the day of sil's rehearsal dinner. I suspected all week because of the sudden nausea but couldn't get a positive test for a few days. Living that #cabooselyfe
