We have our first twin date today!!! My friend with 2 year old twins is coming to visit the babies. I'm excited to have so many twins in my house and to commiserate with another MoM.
@jacks605, are you able to try a different pump? I had a medela with my first and felt like I constantly struggled to pump enough. This time I have a spectra and easily pump 5 oz after feeding both girls. Totally different babies and what not I know but nothing is different about me physically or my diet.
Speaking of nursing pillows, would you recommend bringing one to the hospital? I can't remember if that would've been helpful with DD.
My hospital actually had a my breast friend in the closet so check and see if yours provides a nursing pillow. Otherwise I got by with plain pillows since the hospital beds are so adjustable and have arms. And the hospital pillows are so flat and malleable.

I had a medela PISA with my first and got the Spectra S2 this time and get basically the same with either pump...maybe an ounce here and there more with the Spectra.

Well bugger. Pumping sucks. Low output sucks even more. Sorry!! 😥
I got 8 hours of sleep last night! With only 1 quick wake up to put a pacifier back in. And no screaming or crying from the almost 4 year old at bedtime. Oh and I showered. I feel like a new person!
Took the babies to the Chiro today....Here's to hoping it works ?
For what? I love the chiro ❤️just went yesterday in order to try to get myself put back into place after pregnancy. He said he felt like he had to re align every bone in my body. Haha

Reflux with both babies, colicky for one. Get them checked out and everything aligned. I've never been myself but their dad goes when needed.

I had to get so many adjustments after pregnancy to get me back in working order, I was a whole hot mess and felt like every appointment was starting from scratch. But, it helped so much, so here's hoping it gets you feeling a bit more like your old self too!
nic1231 I hope the adjustment helps with the reflux!!!!
This is me too. I'm still a hot mess 3 months post partum. Thank goodness for the chiropractor
My ILs are visiting. It's been...somewhat stressful. I hate having people in my house. Makes me feel like I have to entertain. They also screw up our schedule and I'm a stickler for schedules. And then feeding is annoying because I can't just whip out a boob wherever I am. And the girls were cluster feeding this evening and I kept feeling like I was "taking away" a baby from them that they wanted to cuddle. But it's like...she's screaming and sucking her hand. So uhhh sorry and yes I know it's only been half hour since she ate. Believe me, I have other things I could be doing. I'm not doing this to spite you.

DVMmomma, I'm sure they understand that the babies need to be fed. But yeah, I totally get the feeling of needing to "entertain." THat's why I pretty much hated visitors in the early days.
I put sneakers on this morning all by myself and even managed to tie them. I did not expect to still be able to do this at near 32 weeks.
I can't believe your feet even fit in real shoes!
I couldn't wear anything besides flip flops after like 25 weeks. haha.
These are the only one's that fit. The laces are getting pretty short! It's pouring raining all day today so I didn't want wet feet. Otherwise, it's my crocs flats or flip flops every day.
Took C to her cardiology appt today...got the all clear to stop the meds, have a check up on 3 months and hopefully an all clear! On another note, my little baby is up to 10 lbs 15oz and 22 inches.... Big girl lol
Everyone has to wear masks due to the measles outbreak so I had to take a picture

I'm curious! What improvements have you noticed with the chiro?

I am so impressed! I had to go to target before work this AM to buy Firkenstocks a size and a half bigger than usual - and then let the buckles out to the last hole. Also, it's not even sandal weather yet!

I could hardly walk after having the twins (and a c-section). She's basically been working on getting my body back in line again. I also had 3 massages to help get rid of the swelling.

So good to know. I haven't thought about long lasting effects of the twins on my body (I mean, some - just not the basics like walking). I truly can't remember what normal feels like because the aches and pains started so early this pregnancy!
lotusbee I still had some residual pubic symphysis pain and lumbar muscle pain that the chiro helps me with. Also I think there's a theory that it helps you digest better so I figured anything to make my tummy look flatter!
I think my Izzi would have STTN last night if I'd have let her! Too bad for me I was up with M so I let her snooze a bit extra but as soon as I hear some rustling from her I got her up. Nothing worse than wrapping up with one baby, climbing in bed, and having the other baby cry immediately
