@janetheconquerer Still a fever this morning, but last night was a more restful sleep (for him) since this time last week. He doesn't seem to be as emotional today, so that is a good sign too. I am hoping this all means he is finally on the mend.
This commercial features owners/ceo's of mechanical firms, the first women master plumber in MI, who also happens to be the first African American women master plumber in the us. What a great commercial. Inspiring and touching. It made me cry at work.
FieryMama , I'm glad he seems to be on the mend. Was there every an official diagnosis? I know he was negative for strep.
@janetheconquerer , have fun at Epcot! If only you could drink while you were there.
silly girl....
10 am tour 12 lunch 1 let the drinking begin. if it didn't start at lunch.
We are free to hang for the rest of the day. I probably won't because i have a 5k at 7am on Saturday but still, 1 drinking while networking won't hurt.
@layloo8 my mom has Graves disease and had her Thyroid removed. I would recommend she go to an endocrinologist stat(haven't caught up so I don't know if this has been covered) some of the effects (eyes bulging for instance) can become permanent even after treatment so it's a big deal. Text me if you want more details or have questions. ☺
FieryMama I'm glad C is seemingly to feel better. th3stryck3r another vote for dh ordering what you would most like to eat. Enjoy and relax. @janetheconquerer jealous! That sounds like an amazing day. shellyr I'm not going to say don't feel bad because I know it's not that easy but try to be easy on yourself. She's no worse for wear. @betweenthelines enjoy your day and your Friday!!
mrspiatt I'm really sorry your dd1 didn't take things well. Hopefully she gets used to the situation because it is her reality. Just give her some time. How are you feeling?
runningmommy519 a Spanish school sounds really interesting. Do you guys speak Spanish? I really want to both learn and teach w to speak Spanish not only as a much needed skill but so he can communicate (w/o a translator) to a chunk of my family who only speak Spanish. Wish we had a school here that did that.
It's going alright. There is very little direction which I am finding difficult. I don't have any files or anything to work with and I have gotten very little from them about what they need. I am hoping this is just an awkward phase for now.
I think w is going to self wean soon ish. Today he asked for wcm and he's been asking for food instead of nursing. Yesterday we didn't nurse until afternoon because we were running around. I have all the feels but it's cool to see him grow up.

We do not. But many other parents are in the same boat. In a nutshell
In kindergarten and 1st grade 90% of his day will be in Spanish. Only classes like PE, music, art etc.... will be in English. His primary teacher will not speak English at all. The purpose of that is they don't want students knowing they speak English so they will be forced to use Spanish.
In 2nd grade language arts is added making 80% of his day in Spanish.
Gradually as he gets into a new grade more English is added. He will be fluent in the language eventually.
The school asks for a 5 yr commitment because kids get a little behind at first (he won't learn to read until 2nd grade).
What's neat about this school is it is dual immersion. So at least 1/3 of the students must come from Spanish speaking homes (Spanish as a first language). The Spanish students basically help for non Spanish students the first few years with that slowly reversing in later years.
They basically said do not do any other activities for he first 6 months because they will be exhausted (more so that typical kinder) and right around mid October is when kids begin to pick up on the language
+1 to try not to over soak it. If it's chunky (vom) try to pick up what you can dry. We tend to have to rent a carpet cleaner from PetSmart a few times a year bc our dog is an asshole. They sell Bissel pet specific carpet cleaner too.
Wife made me a breakfast burrito and it was really good but now I'm sitting here trying not to vomit. I got Preggo Pop Drops in the mail yesterday but I forgot to bring them in. Womp.

One of the partners just walked in with a box of coffee. I am just trying to figure out how much time I should let pass so that I don't look so desperate hahaha.
