Does anyone have any fun vacations or staycations planned for second tri? All I want to do is go to a resort for a night and sit in a hot tub with a bottle of wine. I can only do 1 of the 3, so boo.

We desperately want to go away, possibly to Spain or Portugal, but getting a bit nervous about money with the big move coming up. If we don't leave the country, we'll still go somewhere at least for a weekend break. Aiming for a week or two before or after Easter, so like 18 or 22 weeks for me. A nice reward for surviving the hell of first tri!
We were going to do a beach trip with family in July, but that is about an 8 hour drive each way. Needless to say, that isn't happening now. We will probably try for a weekend away and have the grandparents watch DS for us. Nothing is planned yet.

We are planning a trip to upstate ny sometime in May... Probably just stay in a B&B by the lake, walk around town, take a spa day. Unfortunately, we financially can't afford anywhere far at the moment... Just bought a house and this momma wants a Subaru Forester before baby arrives!
So looking forward to our trip to Costa Rica in February...that we booked last summer. It's an unintentional babymoon. DH refuses to travel during football season, so we leave two days after the Superbowl.
jordanelizabeth I live in upstate NY by lake Ontario. It's beautiful here. You planning on going more toward the fingarlakes?
Yeah we are thinking finger lakes (Hammondsport in particular) orrr Niagra Falls since we haven't bee there before. We eventually want to move up that way.

H has spring break (he works at a University) around the 1st of April so we may do a small trip then. Before my BFP we had planned on a trip in December but I was feeling to crappy to enjoy anything. I don't think we will leave the country though.
I get a spring break in mid-March and we're heading to Hawaii. We've already booked the tickets at a great price and with travel insurance just in case. I've never been before, but MH lived there for a few years. I'm really liking forward to it.
TTC#1 since Feb 2011 With an RE since 2012 August 2012/March 2014: Med cycles, 5 IUIs, 5 IVFs and nothing. Diagnosed with Premature Ovarian Failure (POF)
We adopted four embryos! Transferred 2 - they both took!!! Rebecca & Sara born at 23 weeks on 04/06/15. Rest in peace my angels. May 2016 - Transferred one embryo. BFP on 5/11!! We are due in January 2017!
We want to take DS to Great Wolf Lodge for a birthday trip/"last hoorah" as an only child. However, his birthday is next month (he'll be 2), and I'm not really feeling a Waterpark themed hotel in the dead of winter. So we'll probably wait until March or April... I will be well into 2nd tri and we'll have gotten our tax return by then, win-win!!!
Nothing booked yet, but talking about Montreal in the spring. We were considering New York before, but that one would be expensive - plus for healthcare reasons I'd feel more comfortable staying in Canada.

I just got a 2010 Forester earlier this year, I love it!
We're going to a music festival in March. We have a huge group of friends that go each year, close to 60 including all of the kids. I'm a little Mecosta l nervous about camping at 20 weeks, but we upgraded our air mattress last year so I should hopefully be able to get comfortable and sleep.

Since we live far from family, most of our trips/vacation time are spent going back to visit. We might try to swing a trip up to SLC (my mom lives there, the only one not in MS) to escape some awful TX summer weather. H has some vacation time he needs to use up before school starts, so maybe we can swing a little beach trip.
My wife is apparently taking her own baby moon trip in AUGUST! She has a board meeting in Alaska she has to go to. We live in Massachusetts. So I'll be home alone, eleventy months pregnant, chasing a 1 1/2 year old in 100 degree weather. Sounds relaxing, doesn't it??

What!! Tell her to bring back an iceberg. Or a rock. With bling. For leaving you in August.

Nothing fancy. We're trying to buy a new house because our lease in up in August. 4 days after my EDD, to be exact. YIKES.
But we have a wedding in Nashville this summer and I think we're just going to make a long weekend out of it and kick back and relax. We just can't afford to go somewhere crazy awesome right now.
We are looking into ocean front suites..which is normal for us so i guess its not a babymoon..just an excuse to go to the beach. i would love to have a spa weekend that includes fine dining (not asking for much huh?).

We had talked about this but with H's family flying in during my second tri, needing to go visit my SIL at her new place, and re-financing our home - it isn't looking likely. We'll probably leave LO with my ILs one weekend when he/she is older and go have a weekend in Vegas.
We weren't in a position financially last time and I would like to this time but we won't be able to have anyone watch my daughter so it probably won't happen.
I want to go to London next month and see The Used, but that's probably not happening.
Ughhhh I love me some bert mccracken.... They are fantastic in concert.
Love them. And Bert is SO incredibly sweet. Saw/met them last April and omg... totally worth it. Unfortunately due to certain legal issues and lack of money this trip is nearly impossible.
