Our house is so dusty and dirty! Not to mention the absurd amount of cat hair. I'm so ready to shave the damn cats. I think LO has probably ate the equivalent of a small kitten in cat hair already.

Did you end up finding a LC to come to your house? I saw your post on a FB group we both belong to. I've been working with a great one who is from your town. Love her!
I'm at a chiropractors. Havnt been to one in years and I'm always resistant to finding new practitioners. Really hope to get my back in better shape ). Holding LO has been an issue
Horrible night with no sleep for me. Had a bad headache all night long and could no fall asleep. My due date is on friday but I have a feeling we will end up with a march baby.
We had our first round of appointments today. Half my staples came out, the rest we'll get next week. DS is doing great and he's already 4 oz. above birth weight. This afternoon is his hearing test, so I get to bundle him up in the car and drive him all by myself.

I'm getting ready to try my had at some newborn photos of LO. I'm too cheap to pay for a photographer so I borrowed my MIL's rebel and I have been pinning tips like crazy. DH also has access to photoshop on his work laptop. Fx I haven't made a huge mistake and actually end up with some decent pictures.
Sending good vibes to all the mommas with inside babies. Your time is coming. You will not be pregnant forever. I repeat you will not be pregnant forever.

I just parked in the "expectant mothers" spot for the first time this pregnancy. I figured since I don't exercise much I'd continue parking further away to at least get some physical activity in.
But on this rainy 32 degree day, I was like eff that, I'm parking here.
I feel like I haven't spammed or have been on here in forever!
Poor DH, he accidentally knocked baby's head with his elbow last night. He kept texting me this morning to see if he's ok. He's so freaked...I keep trying to send pics to show he's fine.
Then of course I have a dream about dropping the baby...oh I need a nap soon.

How long were you told to wait to drive after your c-section? I got told 6 weeks is standard, but that sounds like crazy talk.
I was told 2 weeks to drive post csection but I drove after like 5 days. I only went to Target 2 miles away but I'm not taking the percosets anymore and felt fine to drive. 6 weeks would be insane!
My RCS is tomorrow! We have to be at the hospital at 5:30am so we are dropping the girls off at my parents house after DH gets off work tonight and we're going out for dinner. The girls are super excited for their extended sleepover at Mimi's. She is keeping them as long as I'm in the hospital. I know I will probably start missing them before the night is even over but I am so incredibly thankful that I have somewhere to send them where DH and I don't have to worry about them and they will be happy. They will get to school, their activities and be appropriately fed and cared for AND I get to have my husband at the hospital! I can't even tell you what a huge relief that is. This is not how it went down last time and it was so difficult on me.
It is kind of sad how excited I am that I plan on heading to the mall to walk around. No shopping just to get out of the house and exercise.
I think we are going to bjs. the pediatrician said not to go to crowded places like malls until about 6 weeks but bjs in the middle of the day shouldn't be too bad right? I'm pretty excited for the walking.
The mall was so slow as expected that I wasn't worried. There were several mom's with young kids walking around.
Honestly I am more worried about church where everyone will want to pick her up or touch her.

So before I got pregnant, I felt like there was Expectant Mother parking EVERYWHERE. Now I'm nine months pregnant and can't find a dang Expectant Mother spot to save my life. I'm normally one of those people who parks far away so I can a.) walk and b.) keep my car from getting scratched up by jerks, but I wanted to park in an Expectant Mother's spot at least once. Oh well. Maybe next pregnancy.

Amy Seigrist is coming tomorrow! I'm nervous and excited.
Yay! Good luck. Heard good things about her. I was actually supposed to see her yesterday but ended up canceling because I needed someone last week when we were struggling big time. I ended up using the same person I saw in the hospital.

Got my ticker working. So proud.
I was told 6 weeks. It's making me insane. We have so many follow up appointments and DBF already took off the whole week we were in the hospital.
Same here. At least I can take the train to the hospital for my follow-up appointments because the buses aren't handicap accessible. Hopefully no one steals my stroller from the GP when I leave it downstairs. I guess it forces me to walk.
My spam for today is that my wedding rings are still too tight and it makes me sad. I am hoping sooner than later all of my puffiness is gone.
I'm more swollen now than before my CS. I hope it goes away soon. My legs are like tree trunks.
My carpal tunnel is just now going away, but still around. Compression socks and tights still help. Waiting on my belly band to arrive from amazon to put more pressure on my c-section wound (the hospitals here don't have binders).

I've been off of anything but ibuprofen since I left the hospital. Now I feel like I shouldn't feel bad about driving my mom around at 5 weeks. I feel great most of the time.

I was told no driving for 2 weeks after my vaginal delivery. I totally broke that after like 9 days.
I think for both it is about the pain meds and if you are taking them. But I haven't taken anything so I drove to the doctors appointment 9 days post. But I was feeling fine.
I was told 2 weeks no driving after my cesarean. We are on our second day home and trying to get the hang of this thing called parenthood. Oliver was in the nicu for sugar issues but was able to make it home with us after my 4 day stay in the hospital so we did not have to leave him. I was able to do get two 2 hour stretches of sleep last night and one hour this morning. I'm hoping to keep up and not hit a wall
My mom left this morning so today was my first day just me and baby. I think we're doing alright today, but I'm excited for DH to get home from work! 2 more hours....
I also pulled out the moby wrap today- LO seems to like it!

I was not given any driving restrictions, so I'm going on the 'don't be an idiot about it' guidelines, much like I did with exercise while pregnant. With not having any family here aside from DH and even then, they can't drive cars here, I kind of have to drive if I want DH to have any chance of working.
