Hello! Today is off to a good start. H gave a bottle last night so I could skip a feeding and sleep. Glorious. Then he just walked back into the house with a chai tea latte from Starbucks since I can't make my own right now (stupid filters should be here today hopefully) God I love him.
My warning label: caution this person frequently breaks out in song and dance.
Morning.... I slept 3 hours last night but not in a row. Ugh! DH let DS sleep on him for many consecutive hours yesterday which at the time was cute, and it gave me time to focus on potty breaks with DD... but, he was up all night. My fault this time.
On a happy note, I have watched so much HGTV over the past 3 weeks that DH wants to go to home depot today and get some ideas for our bathroom reno this spring and I am going to pick a new kitchen paint colour! This also means I get a Starbucks.
My warning label: Plays well with others but does NOT share food!
You reminded me of another warning label I could have. It would actually be a food indicator light the stages would be getting hungry, you really need to think about feeding her, dude get her food NOW, and toss some food at her and run for your life
I do have a shirt that says "I am sorry for what I say when hungry"

Last night and today were bad. Because nothing happening still! And I'm so anxious about it so it will probably never happen. Warning label currently: proceed with caution!!
Woke up and everything is still covered in ice/snow, so another day where I'm working from home and DH has the day off. It's nice getting some extra time just the two of us in the house, even if I have to work. Still no signs LO wants to exit. Maybe he's like his father & wants to be punctual.
Current warning label: cannot predict the future, don't ask when baby is coming.
LO and I have been sleeping in the spare bedroom to spare DH since he has to work. I think last night was the last time though. This bedroom is above the garage and it doesn't stay warm. LO was fussy all night. DH is just going to have to wear earplugs.
misshart00 ugh. No fun!! I dealt with that last weekend. Hope you can keep it away from you and LO.
With two days left till my due date, I finally feel ready for this. I've having a lot of doubts about my ability to take care of a baby and have so far been really happy about LO staying in there even though I've been uncomfortable. But this weekend, it finally hit me that I am ready and now I can't wait for labor to start. I may have another week or two before anything happens, but I'm just glad that I've let go of some of my fears. Mentally, I feel better than ever during this pregnancy.
Warning label: Is a total dork and not ashamed of it.
Yesterday was my first day going solo with a toddler and newborn while DH went back to work (hence not participating in spam). My parents did come over for a bit though so I was able to shower lol. Of course Anna's night routine has worsened (going from 4-5hr stretches to 2-3) and now we are not alternating so goodbye longer stretches of sleep. Sad panda!
Also, I'm starting to feel little waves of sadness for no reason. I thought I'd escape the baby blues all together this time but no such luck. Okay, enough B & M'ing.
Warning: don't disturb my sleeping baby, or else...
Eta: DD1's speech was cancelled today so I get to enjoy a chill morning including coffee and SPAM.
Warning label: Grammar Nazi. Will bitch slap with dictionaries.
Still pregnant. No signs except increasing discomfort in every single area. Still working. Falling asleep. Looking for some kind of light at the end of the tunnel.
Hang in there, sleepy mommas. I'll be joining you shortly. No matter what. *cracks knuckles*
I want to take DD (17 months) out to okay in the snow today. But we don't have snow boots for her. Any suggestions?
Hm. Sneakers and several layers of socks? Or socks, a little plastic baggie over socks, then sneakers? I know my mom always lined our snow boots with plastic bags from the grocery store in an effort to keep them dry.

Yup! This is a little ghetto but we put bags (like Ziploc) on her shoes and rubber banded them on. They were warm and didn't get any moisture inside. However they were slippery for her to walk in. We went and got boots after doing this two times. Kids grow out of footwear so quickly, ugh!
It is kind of sad how excited I am that I plan on heading to the mall to walk around. No shopping just to get out of the house and exercise.
Love doing this! Not sad at all! Plus, you can get treats along the walk, like soft pretzels or frozen yogurt (or not if you have better food will than me) lol.

Put the bags over the socks and inside the shoes instead of over the shoes and it is much easier to walk. We used to do this in girl scouts when it rained on camping trips.
Our house is so dusty and dirty! Not to mention the absurd amount of cat hair. I'm so ready to shave the damn cats. I think LO has probably ate the equivalent of a small kitten in cat hair already.
Current Warning Label: Fragile. Handle with Care
My house has so much accumulated cat and dog hair. It's giving me anxiety. Housework in General seems overwhelming at this point.
After a week of basically no sleep, LO slept wonderfully last night. 8:45pm-12:30am, then from 1:30-4am and woke up at 6. I felt like I got a normal amount of sleep for the first time since having him. I'm sure this won't happen again for weeks though.
Went to the pedi this morning and he's 7.10 now! Yay for growth!

I've been making Dw do housework for at least 4 weeks now... Sometimes I load the dishwasher but my belly is in the way and my legs get tired. Is that so wrong...
I'm at a chiropractors. Havnt been to one in years and I'm always resistant to finding new practitioners. Really hope to get my back in better shape ). Holding LO has been an issue

I think we are going to bjs. the pediatrician said not to go to crowded places like malls until about 6 weeks but bjs in the middle of the day shouldn't be too bad right? I'm pretty excited for the walking.
