mwhipple77 I can not support you nickelback issues, BUT I will say my DH and I gave up weekday concerts as well, always sounds like a good idea, never is! So we're old as well!

I'm in a bad mood, I didn't start this way, but my coworker is being a dick. My pregnancy hormones are dying to give him a piece of my mind, but that would be bad. So I'm venting here. Why do people have to be so rude? It's not that difficult to be polite.
They played some of this on the radio this morning. It was interesting. I might try playing it for my cats and see how they react. They all enjoy it when I play classical music. It seems to help calm and relax them.
Morning! I made it through my night with no kid and no DH. It was weird and quiet. Yay for babies who sleep through the night! Mama needs sleep too! trtlcrzy The concert we didn't go to Monday night was Nickelback! They do an amazing live show! If you like their music. Evie's room in our current place is above the garage and I cringe every time we have to come or go after she goes to bed. The master bedroom is above the garage in out new house!

Sinny has nighttime music. I have a playlist of classical music he likes. Unrelated, he loves Queen. When he hears Freddie Mercury he purrs so loudly he chirps and he practically tries to crawl into the speaker.
Random over share of the day: last night Pete ran to Target while I was cooking dinner. When he came back he walked into the kitchen, groped my butt, and told me he bought lube on clearance. LOL talk dirty to me?

bsmithmi yes! They look awake but they aren't at all. And they will thrash all around when you hold him. Eventually they wake up and don't remember it at all.
Guise, this is so cute. A's little BFF at DC is named Theo, and A tries to say his name now. When he gets up in the morning he starts telling me about "Teeeeeeoooo" and runs to the front door so he can get over there to see him. Pete says when he arrives at DC they both start squealing in excitement when they see each other.
klongoria11 That's what I thought at first cause he woke up crying at 9:30 aswell but he settled and slept the rest of the night fine so I'm going to wait and see.
melaniesue05 Can it be a night terror even if his eyes are open? (Mind you they looked different; kind of dazed and zoned out) but he seemed so alert. And was acting like he knew what I was saying and asking him.
bsmithmi I was thinking night terror after what you initially said. My kid has had two NT's and his eyes will be open, but he's totally non-responsive to any of my questions or comments. It's like he doesn't recognize (or even see) me. So the fact that you feel like he was somewhat responsive is confusing.
An hour seems like a long time.. ours were more like 20-30 min, but like you said, he sleeps fine the rest of the night afterwards.
Kids are so weird. It's so hard to see them in that state though and be completely helpless. So heartbreaking. Sorry

That is cute! Our friends' son is 23 months and says a modified version of DS's name and always gets really excited to see him. My LO does not return his enthusiasm for their budding friendship... yet. haha
cagoldi, that's so cute! E still doesn't really talk, but he loooooooooves to waive and give a big cheeser grin to all the kids when we get to daycare in the morning. It makes me laugh every time.
I mean, y'all didn't think I was gone forever...right??
How are Phia's tubes working out? Life-changing, right?
Oh. My. Gosh. YES! She's been a completely different kiddo. Her sleeping has gotten so much better (aside from her usual wake-up time between 5:30-6am but...it's to be expected when she goes to bed by 6:30). We just got her custom ear plugs for swim lessons (which started on Saturday and she LOVES IT). I'm truly hoping that daylight savings next week pushes back bedtime and in turn, wake-up time. I'm torn, though. Monday-Friday I love that she's up at 6 so I can bring her to DC at 6:30 and be able to get to the gym by 7 before work at 8:30. Weekends? We just want one. more. hour. She's also down to one nap a day on weekends (not just at daycare) which is tough but...we get through it and she's getting used to it. We just have to keep her stimulated and entertained or out of the house; that's the key.
I love the name Theo, by the way, but I have a relative named Ted and I don't want anyone to think that my kid is named after him because he's kind of a scumbag...
My fingers are blue it is sooo cold this morning!! The heating doesn't work in my classroom so I'm really feeling it. It's 54 to be exact..I realize I sound like a spoiled brat to many of you.
