cagoldi flip that around. I didn't have much growing up and his family was comfortable financially. I think his parents just drilled it into his head. His mom made the comment that she thought we should wait to have kids until my school loans were paid off. No, we will make our own family planning decisions ourselves tyvm. We have our stuff on mint.com and he can look at that anytime he wants. He gets stressed out when he can't pay off the credit cards fully at the end of the month. He's still trying to catch up from Xmas spending so it's probably just adding to the stress.
Cherhorowitz I've never heard of lash tinting. Is it just like it sounds? Are you tinting them so you don't have to wear mascara? How do they do it? Please report back, I'm so curious.
Ahhhh I have no clue. I booked an eyebrow wax at a new fancy place online and they had all these extra options so I clicked "yes".
as far as how they do it... From what I remember when I had it done about 3 years ago: They basically put a sticker under your eye to protect the skin from dye and use a tiny paintbrush to brush dye on your lower lashes. You have your eyes open wide and you look up toward your eyebrows while this is happening. Sit still for a few minutes like that to let it dry, then she brushes them out and takes the stickers off.
Oh yeah, you're laying on your back for this... at least I was because I was getting semi-permanent eyelashes done to the top lashes.
I wish my kid watched tv. Like, really, really wish.
The only thing he will watch is 5-6 seconds of the Westminster Kennel Club (Dogs! Dogs!) or the opening sequence of Elmo's World
This was A until he saw Bubble Guppies. He tries to sing the song and dances to the intro. He's obsessed. He still won't sit and watch though, he just stops long enough to watch the singing then goes back to his important work of demolishing my living room.
Yesssss... Sounds like my munchkin. I will try bubble guppies. Sounds like lots of LO's like them. My LO could give a crap about Mickey Mouse.

I've never had it done, but they use a vegetable based dye, so it won't harm your eyes.
trtlcrzy Sorry, I thought you had similar financial circumstances growing up. He sounds like Pete. Does he check your info on Mint? Pete never looks at his Fidelity account. He just gets crazy anxious and I have to login and show him everything. I don't get it.

He used to all the time, but I had to change the password and he claims he forgot it every time I've asked him about it.

Happy Friday ladies! My kids are writing an on demand essay all period so it's a low key day for me. Then I have girl's night out with a couple of my high school besties! I'm excited..it's much needed!
Does anyone like Mumford and Sons? They are doing a US Stopover tour and I'm trying to get tickets to the Salida, CO stop. They did a concert in Gutherie, OK two years ago and it was apparently amazing. We had to give our tickets away because our friends got married that day. Sigh. So I'm not missing them this time!
Someone else buy tickets to the CO show and meet up with me! They go on sale 10 AM local time. So 45 min from now.
Shout out to 60 degree weather. I'm so excited! I've planned our weekend so we'll be outside enjoy it. I just don't trust it's going to stay around long. East coasters the warm weather is coming your way. Hang in there.
Last night was awesome! Drank all the bubbly, ate all the chocolate and got some lovin'. I'm in such a good mood today.

Re Amazon prime and finances : I tried to explain this to my DH but he doesn't get it. He sees one or two Amazon prime boxes and week and loses his cool. What he can't process is 1. I have no time to run to the store for just one thing at a time and 2. If I shop online, I buy what I needed and nothing else (and usually at a better price), whereas in the store if something catches my eye I come home with 5 things instead of just the 1 I needed.
Amazon prime is simultaneously ruining me and making my life better all at once.

DH and I both love Mumford! Why does CO have to be so far away?! I would totally go with you.
I can not wait until it is warmer and I don't have to bundle Layla up anymore. She fights me tooth and nail. I hate it.
I wish Tim was more concerned about money. He is not a spender really, he just makes the majority of the money and lets me do what I want/need with it. But I wish that the major financial decisions were not always left up to me. I am much more of a spender and so I cause my own anxiety about over spending. I just wish it was more of a partnership.
Mara isn't interested in watching them but she loves to dance to the theme songs. Her favorite is the hot dog song from Mickey Mouse Club House. If she's cranky I'll say, I think your song is on & she'll run into the living room & look at the tv. Luckily I have recorded several shows just for this occasion.
Yep, us too. The Hot Dog dance is where it's at.
+2 ...He also LOVES these 2 little boys that come on the baby channel that call themselves the "Dance Time Boys"...OMG, he will stop whatever he's doing to jam with those little guys. It's pretty dang precious.
We went to bed at 10. Evan was up at 12:30 with a cough and would only sleep in my arms with me sitting up. This resulted in me getting a grand total of 3 hours of broken sleep last night.
Please send a coffee IV.
This was us exactly last night. I will share my coffee IV. I hope E starts feeling better soon.
trtlcrzy Sorry things are a little hard right now. I feel you on the roommates thing; I feel like that right now, too. I'm also convinced DH thinks these are only my problems, and that makes me mad.
I had such a great snow day off with Maggie yesterday. She is the sweetest baby ever and sometimes I don't know what I ever did to deserve her. I worry that I'm never going to be a good enough mother for her, but I guess a lot of people feel that way, huh?
