Thanks everybody. The ultrasound went amazingly smoothly. The tech was awesome. LO laid on a table and watched Daniel Tiger the whole time. He was a champ.

Ok ladies, I need to find a new gyno/obgyn bc my old one who I had for 10 years is too far from where we live now. How did you find yours? I'm going to search my insurance website to find in network but is google only way to see reviews on them? I don't have time to be setting multiple ones and meeting them to pick

The pedi said he would try to call us today. The tech went ahead and told us that it's a lymph node, which technically he probably wasn't supposed to do. In a lot of ways I find that reassuring, but I'm not sure why it would be so large (3 cm) without any other signs of infection. We'll see what the doctor says.

Aw thanks. It just occurred to me that not all newborns just eat and sleep. I am not sure I can handle a full term baby!

Madeline was born at 41w3d, and even though she was pretty alert when awake all she did was eat and sleep.  I'm sure you'll be fine!

So Grayson started getting really restless around 4 am and I couldn't figure out why. He kept crawling over me and switching sides. Then it dawned on me that it was roasting in our room so he was probably hot. Duh mom. He went right back to sleep once I took the blanket off of him lol total mom fail.

But, he woke up in a fantastic mood this morning!!

Just skipped a whole bunch of pages - I have to get two kids plus myself ready to get out the door to the dr by 10am. E is having belly button issues. It doesn't seem to be healing right. Hopefully it's nothing. I will try to catch up later if they both nap for me!

Need to set additional ground rules with my MIL not to call me while at work. She called to see if we needed anything as she was at Target. I'm glad she called to ask instead of just buying something but I automatically think that something bad has happened (her parents are 90 and 87).

So as it turns out, LO was still transitioning over to the Toddler Community throughout this week. That was embarrassing, when they called asking for diapers on Tuesday. His first *full* day in TC is on Monday. As of yesterday, he was just napping in his old classroom though, so most of his time is in TC.

However, I'm so impressed with the potty training they're doing! LO is still having a lot of accidents (as evidenced by the 4 pairs of wet underwear they sent home), but he asked to go when we were leaving yesterday (and he did!), and this morning he asked to and peed in the potty all three times he peed after getting up! AAAAHH!

I took the idea of potty training at daycare with a large handful of salt, but now I'm kind of excited to think it might work!

I complain too but I mean like major complaints like the husband ignores her, they havent been intimate in x amount of weeks or months, he talks down to her...the list goes on. 

Sounds like they don't communicate.

Long distance through college helped us with that. And having lives independent of each other, although DH gets out more than me. Also, if we were able to make it through IF, we can make it through anything!

Update, since I basically vanished yesterday: B just has a virus, and seemed pretty much fine this morning. NP ordered a low dose steroid in case he gets worse. She kept talking about how big he is and how he must like to eat :/ He's not massive, but he is a chubby little toddler! 27lb, almost 34". The nurses were all very impressed that he kept his little mask on. They had me do a nebulizer treatment in the morning, so he was bouncing completely off the walls for the rest of the day.
I didn't make dinner yesterday morning, but I managed to get it together this morning. Excited about Ratatouille for dinner tonight! It's been a long time since I've made it.
And I found out yesterday afternoon that I have to move classrooms before the new semester starts. So I'll have to take down all my classroom decorations, deal with textbook inventory, close out grades from this semester, revise and print/copy my syllabi and first day materials for the new semester, move allllll my books, supplies, and miscellany to another room in another hallway AND I don't know the teacher with whom I'll be sharing a room. She's a new science teacher. Oh, and I have only Tuesday to do it because Monday is division-wide professional development in 2 different buildings. Not stressed about this at all. Nope. I think I'll try to sneak out today and get started since MIL has already offered to watch Mirabelle this afternoon. Silver lining- even though I will no longer be across the hall from my favorite administrator's office (so convenient for discipline issues!) and I'll be farther away from the cafeteria (maybe the walk will encourage me to start packing lunches again), I will be closer to the other language teachers' rooms, so I'll get to see them a little more. The more I think/write about it, the more sad I get. I haven't taught anywhere else in that building since I student taught. It's The Latin Room. It's in the middle of the building and really convenient for everything. It's MY room. I've shared it every year, but it's always been my home. My old students won't know where to find me (let's be real, they don't read signs). Ugh.
