expatmama11 how are you feeling? I saw in the news you have amazing weather over there
I have light MS, last night I had to skip the company dinner and just had some yogurt before bed, the sole thought of entering a restaurant made me gag.
I've been up since an hour before my alarm was set to go off. I had to pee so bad and laying awake was making me feel sick, so I got up, but I still feel sick. I'm so conflicted because getting up at 430am is going to kill my energy today, but for the first time in my life, the thought of coffee is turning my stomach and I really just want to put juice in my mug today.
I'm leaning towards only working a half day today. I need to go in at least to proctor the math exam and of course in order to use my planning periods to write up sub stuff for a day and a half I'll also be teaching my morning classes. But they'll only be 23 minutes each thanks to our extra stupid schedule from testing, so it's not bad. I'm supposed to help run and coach the home modified track meet tonight, but I'm not sure I have working from 7am to 7pm in me today feeling as sick and nauseous as I do.

Ugh, I don't know. I don't know what to do.Tak
Try to take it easy! I ended up having to stay late with a crashing patient a couple nights ago (making for an almost 15 hour shift) and I feel like I still haven't recovered.
Do you have snow?? I woke up to an inch of snow on the deck. What is going on here?!

Thankfully no. We were supposed to get some overnight and this morning but I haven't seen any yet.

The past two nights I have been incredibly nauseous overnight and woken up because of it. I'm thinking it's because I take my prenatal right before bed? Last night I woke up one hour after falling asleep and had to rush to the bathroom to throw up. Maybe I need to start eating a snack right before bed with my prenatal? I have taken it before bed for years though, so I'm surprised it's just hitting me now. M/S is making my tummy extra sensitive I guess

I'm so sorry that everyone is so nauseous! I have avoided that so far, but I'm only 5 weeks. My main symptom is that I'm so itchy. It's horrible. I also can't seem to find a good temperature at night. I wake up freezing and bundle up and then I wake up sweating. Does not make for a good nights sleep.
I feel the most nausea late at night, middle of the night, and early morning, If I Wake up in the middle of the night I am afraid I am going to need to run to the bathroom. The last two days I have been able to keep enough in my stomach to keep it at bay. I am going to get something done on my car, take DD to lunch, then take her to the dr. so I hope it stays at bay while I'm out and about. I am also waking up cold then again but super hot at night. I was also hoping to take a nap when DD does but it looks like with taking her to the dr her nap will be in the car so I won't be able to nap.

I take it with dinner... before bed I try not to go with an empty stomach, yogurt is perfect for me.
I haven't gotten out of bed yet, but I ate a whole bowl of cereal and still feel fine. I am definitely tired these days- came home from work yesterday and fell asleep on the couch. Good thing I woke up after an hour since I still had a few things to do.
ETA I must have MS that comes on a little later- I was almost finished getting ready for work and almost vomited.

Sorry about the bad nausea everyone. I'm still bleeding a lot, I thought it would start to slow and have cramps when I wake up. I'm going in again tomorrow to the RE to see if the bleed in my uterus is getting smaller. DH canceled some things at work so he could go with me tomorrow.

I had bad heartburn last night and then was nauseous ibut no vomiting.
I'm SO tired today that I took a look at my work calendar, noticed i' have no meetings I need to be there in person for and let my team know i'll be working from home today.
My boss is on vacation so it's a unique week where i can take advantage of that.
Hugs to everyone having nausea. I'm having some as well but mine is mild (I am not 6 weeks yet, so we'll see what the future brings!).
lovegrilledcheese fingers crossed for you that everything is OK, hoping the bleed is smaller/gone.
My kidney/back pain thing is much better today after taking Tylenol and a warm bath. I was worried that my bath was too hot and boiling the baby so I ended up with a pretty lukewarm one and the water only went up to half my body. Still felt nice though! Also gave me a nice view of my big bloated stomach
lovegrilledcheese, I. Hope everything works out and you get good news tomorrow!
My nausea is definitely worse in the evening. I pretty much just have to park it on the couch all night which makes me feel superbly lazy. I have some tinged cm every once in a while (typically if I over do it with lifting at work) but my OB has told me not to worry about it so I'm trying to take that to heart.
obscurereference MS started at exactly 6w for me... enjoy eating this week
This was me w/ LO#1. Threw up the first time at 6w exactly.
I'm 5w1 day today, and was a smidge queasy earlier. My problem is I feel off when I have an empty stomach and because I take medicine first thing in the morning that I can't eat for an hour afterwards my mornings are rough. They were last time, and I expect the same this time.

Sore boobs. I know how crazy it sounds to wish for nausea, but I want to feel like there's a growing, healthy baby that's making me sick. Wednesday (my first OB appt) cannot get here soon enough.

Last night was super bad. I was not good on the drive home, and half-way home, my mom called to tell us DD had fallen off the couch and was hurt. In the end, they took DD to the ER (she was fine - she just banged it up pretty good and it was very stiff at first), and I stayed behind to throw up. Fun times, yo.
Sickness is absolutely not morning sickness for me. Nausea comes on later in the morning, if I don't eat, but it gets really bad around lunchtime. Eat, don't eat, doesn't seem to much matter. It's bad. It's worst around dinner and after. This is not my favorite thing ever.
Boobs are tender, but also a lot more firm. Weird. And I'm tired all the time.
On the bright side, the allergies are much, much better so I no longer wish for death.

Good morning! lovegrilledcheese, positive thoughts for you. Hugs to everyone who is feeling sick.
I had some serious nausea yesterday but found that eating a good helping of protein solved that. I also experienced one of the worst headaches of my life last night. Today seems to be fairly good. Boobs are sore and my contacts are itchy but I don't feel sick so far. I am starving and have a feeling it will be one of those days where no matter how much I eat, I just stay hungry.
I just keep reminding myself that tomorrow is Friday and then it will be the weekend. I can make it!
Last night the fatigue hit me hard. Luckily DH watched DD so I could pass out on the couch for a little while. I felt like I had been drugged I was so tired! Today I haven't felt too bad nausea-wise. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that this pregnancy will be different than my last in that respect!
Oh, and last night I had the bad pain that felt like it was in the round ligament area when I sneezed. I remember that from last time, however I don't think it happened until later on... Also, I am so bloated that I need to wear stretchy pants. I love you, stretchy pants!

Today doesn't entirely suck so far. A bit of an upset stomach this morning but I ate slowly and I'm feeling hungry now.
I went shopping last night and bought a maternity swim top and maternity shorts I know it's early and I don't care lol I also bought new bras that have to be returned....they fit now but I'm almost cupcaking out of the top and I know they won't fit for long. Now if only I could find sandals for my chubby feet!
Ok, I went a bit off subject there....sorry about that!

The last two days have been harder than I have had. Definitely more nauseous and tired (more nauseous today as I had my first dry heaves). Been pretty tired and luckily took a few days off of work so able to get 9 hours of sleep. My problem is more feelings of dizziness causing queasiness. And a higher protein diet has really helped. Not so much today and had to break out the saltines after the cheese I ate didn't help.
Hopefully going to feel better later today, I would like to get some exercise as I am trying to stay active. Right now I am laying on the couch watching Cupcake Wars and looking out at the very sunny, very windy, and very cold day.
I have had some mild dizziness, nausea in the afternoons the past few days. Nothing too bad but it's still early. Been extremely tired and my emotions are completely out of whack.
And I'm home from work and back in bed with a nasty feeling stomach and pounding headache. Lots of retching for me today but no actual vomit yet. Hopefully a nap will squash some of my yuckiness.
