I made two sandwiches this morning: one for me and one for the international highschool student that lives with us.
There are two differences between our sandwiches. One is that our mustard preferences are different, and two (aka the most important difference) is mayo. Mine does not have mayo.
Well I mixed them up. I had to eat his sandwich and I almost vomited. There was a little "bubble" of extra mayo in the middle in a bread hole. It like exploded in my mouth.
I cant get rid of the taste or feeling in my mouth. so gross. I cannot get to my steak for dinner fast enough!!!
Fuck you Mayonnaise!!
Ewwwwww ew ew ew!! Just the idea of mayo or even just thinking about the smell of it. Gross. I would've gone hungry.
I had a random and disturbing dream last night where I went to the doctor and found out that the reason I was not KU yet was because I actually had 2 buttholes instead of a butthole and a vagina. In the dream I was worrying about how I would tell H that he's been sticking it in a butthole all these years. When I woke up I can't say I didn't check, just to make sure.

I wish you could see my pensive/confused/horrified/intrigued/questioning face.

I am far too interested in the logistics of this... and how she went her entire life without realizing something was up, or another one of her doctors figuring this out. More questions than answers.
We didn't make it We couldn't get an early enough reservation so we went to Pizzeria Vetri instead. Apparently they're both owned by the same family. But the pizza was amazing! Probably the best I've ever had. We also got a Nutella pizza for dessert which was pretty badass. A little disappointed I missed out on the electronic wine menu at Osteria, but I had an awesome meal anyway so I can't complain!
Yum! I haven't been to Pizzeria Vetri, but it seems like Steven Starr and Mark Vetri are having a pissing contest now! Steven Starr opened a fancy pizzeria about two years ago and now Vetri has one. I didn't realize that Vetri owned more than his namesake restaurant and Osteria. Maybe Amis is his, too? They all run together now!
We considered Vetri's for a hot second for our anniversary tomorrow, but we're doing Abe Froman Fletcher instead. It's Israeli food, I think? I hope it's good.
I hope you make it to Osteria another time! They have another location in Cherry Hill, I think. I don't know where you are located.
Food in Philly is fun!!
Yep, Ami's is Vetri's too. I'm definitely coming back for Osteria. We usually go to Philly for a little mini trip every summer. It's my favorite city and only a 2 hour drive for us (we live in the Poconos). There's just so much history there (and amazing food), it gives me all the feelz!
Happy anniversary! I hope you two have a lovely night out!

I just got a call from our loan officer and our appraisal came in exactly how we needed it to. We will probably be able to close on our house a little sooner. Whoohooo!
Right?!?! My mind is blown by this... it makes no sense to me.
The first sentence states that the woman had a history of UTI.
Good point... but it amazes me that she didn't have larger issues over the course of fifty years. Issues that would have caused further investigation of her anatomy and some question as to why she was getting UTIs all the time.
So either her doctors were always rather useless or she always had very mild and easily treatable urinary tract issues... This amazes me.

I am on Day 4 of the Whole 30 and I am still going through sugar withdrawal. I am not super pleasant right now.
I want an update on this! I kind of want to try it, but also 30 days is so long, haha. We just did a vegan week to "reset" and it felt good, but 7 days of restricted eating =/= 30.
I have done vegan for a 10 days before as well. This is harder IMO. A vegan diet does not exclude wheat/oats/sugar/beans like the Whole 30 does.
I need the detox so badly though. I had reached the weight I was when I was full term pregnant! My blood work came back "normal" but I was at the highest limit of normal for HA1C which means I was teetering on the line of diabetes. Not to mention this may be contributing to my irregular cycles.
Anywho.. it is hard, but it is needed and I am dedicated. I can't take my measurements or weigh myself till the end, but I feel less puffy in general so far. I will keep you all updated!
My biggest question is whether her urethra was always that size or did it get stretched out over time?
This is also why you make sure he puts it in the correct hole!
But, but, but... HOW DO YOU MESS THAT UP? I mean, DH accidentally starts heading a millimeter in the wrong direction, and I'm all, "NOPE! Nope, nope, nope." How did it even *fit* the first time? Her husband has got to be the size of a toothpick!
ETA: a millimeter in the wrong direction either way

DH and I just finished doing Whole30 last month. The first and last weeks were the hardest but once you start eating normally again, you find you don't want nearly add much of all the stuff you couldn't eat as you thought you would. Our bodies felt great pretty quickly into the detox. I'd definitely make it a once per year thing in my life.
