Yes sjp03 it's all cleared up. But with as many others getting it too, and all the face poking and pulling baby does, I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again. Little germy things, they are!
I've been reading and love titting but this is kind of a drive by post.
LO only woke up once last night. She slept from 7:30 to 1ish in her crib and woke me up scream crying and slamming her head into the side of the crib. I might be investing in some bumpers. I nursed her back to sleep and then she stayed in our room until 6:45 when she woke. So you would think I would be all on top of everything today because of all the sleep. Nope. Shit show. I forgot everything I pumped at work yesterday so I had to come stop by work to grab what I pumped yesterday to take to daycare. Well I pull her out of the car seat and she had a blow out, so I take her to my office to change her. Somehow there were three shirts and no pants in the diaper bag?So I put her dirty pants back on her. ::sigh:: Then when I get back to work after dropping her off and having to pull of her dirty pants ha, I realized I forgot to grab the clean bottles for the pump. Ugh. It feels like Monday.
ETA: I also apparently forgot to put nursing pads in my bra today. Uh what the heck self? I still have random let downs on a fairly regular basis. Yay. Thankfully if that happens my shirt shouldn't show. Too much...

Thanks sjp03 and nerdalert I'm glad I'm not alone with the ear pulling and face biting.
It's definitely hard to know when to take babies to the doctor. It's probably a uo, but I've often wished we had more well-baby check ups. It seems as if I'm so worried about shots that I forget to ask other questions. Of course I love my pediatrician though. He's really tall and has crazy red Lyle Lovett hair. He also has five kids that he talks about all the time.
Munchkin grabs at his ears, but it's the same grabbing motion that he grabs at my cheek, eye, boob, his sheets, and anything else with. So basically I'm not worried.
Doctor has confirmed pink eye. She expressed concern that I will give it to LO since it is contagious. She told my to limit contact, don't let LO touch my face, and wash my hands frequently. Have you all been successful at keeping your babies pink eye free?

sjp03 - yep! I had pinkeye this week. In both eyes! Blech! I've never had in my life and I got it in both eyes. I emailed my Dr. and she called in an Rx for drops and its pretty much gone. I ended up throwing away all of my eye makeup and have been wearing glasses (sans make-up) all week. Silver lining is that I placed a whole new order of eye makeup from Sephora (Ha!) Hopefully I'll be back to wearing my contacts and make-up by Wednesday.
Regardless a big fat BOO to anyone who has it. jjh1119 - hopefully you feel better soon zengal - I'm not sure I'm allowed to go to anymore team building events. The last one we had was 2 years ago and I broke 2 of my bosses ribs (a 300+ lb man, I'm not even 1/2 that) getting a little over-zealous with one of the games. Hey, what can I say, I'm competitive!
On the ear infection topic. I had so many ear infections as a kid my ear drum eventually deteriorated and I had to have it surgically replaced. Not fun. Needless to say I'm a wee bit vigilant about watching LO's mannerism's with pulling his ears, etc.
Last nights sleep session went a little better. LO slept in his crib for 2 hours before we brought him to bed with us. I'm also making him take all of his naps in his crib from here on out. This kid is going to love his crib whether he wants to or not!
jjh1119 laughing as I struggle to type due to my wiggly worm! sjp03 I think baby had a mild case before I did, and hers never got worse/I didn't give it back to her. kfaye Hugs, girl.

kfaye - that sounds scary I'm glad you are getting it checked though. A lot of people ignore that stuff and just hope it goes away. Sending good thoughts!
I feel like someone posted one of these not too long ago, might have been on fb though. This is what I came home to. How does this happen? They're only snaps!!
Im to exhausted to tag but yes to the wiggles snd eye rubbing but no ear pulling so far. He grabs everything and loves pulling my hair even when in a ponytail he reaches around and pulls the little hairs at the base of my neck OUCH!
Sending positive thoughts on the pink eye and thyroid hopefully all will clear up quickly!
I was going to wait until Tuesday when Max is 6 months but he has been watching us eat so intently this week and sits up really well so we tried some avocado and apple slices tonight and he loved it! It was so fun watching him have fun and concentrate so hard on the food! Picture because I cant help it!
