So I'm MOH in a wedding in September. Bride wants everyone in cowboy boots. I don't even know how to look for cowboy boots.
Bridesmaid dresses are similar to this..
These are the only boots I have found online so far that I like. I would totally wear these with jeans. But are they too dark for a pink/salmon colored dress in September?
Well, first of all— if she wants you wearing cowboy boots, she should be buying them. That's just me.
But second, the ones you found are adorable, and I think they'd go perfect with the dress.
I agree. She originally said she was but then that changed and now she keeps asking if we bought them yet. I'm not making waves over it so I'm just searching for something decently priced.
I'm not looking forward to the pictures...I have fairly chubby legs compared to the rest of my body. So it's going to look weird. I aiming for boots with a bit of a heel to try to offset the awkwardness of the outfit.

Did she give you any idea what color of boot she wanted yall in? I really like the ones you've chosen so far. I think they'll work with that color dress.

No she really has no opinion. I keep sending her different options and she never commits. She says she wants them all different. So the other maids and I have discussed sticking with brown so at least they won't clash like if one girl has brown, one has black and one has white, etc.
Is she at least from a ranch/farm/something? I am so over everyone and their dog wearing cowboy boots for their wedding. Nothing against you, just a trend I'm sick of.
No she's from the country-ish side of town but still very much suburbia and she and her husband are self proclaimed rednecks that love all things country. I'm over it too but it's her wedding. I'm sure people hated things about my wedding too.
Cowboy boots with short bridesmaid dresses are very popular where I live (I didn't do it, but constantly see pictures) so as long as the wedding is outside and the venue is something that would go along with cowboy boots I think most any will do.
As for those particular boots, they're NMS, but I think those look good with the dress. The dark boot and the bright dress will go good together.

ETA: I love the boots you posted. They are amazing

The wedding is in a church and the reception is in a standard reception hall. But I'm sure photos will be done outside since there is a very nice park across the street from the church.

I agree with the boots for wedding party thing, but is it really a thing to have your dog wear boots?! Going to google......

I may or may not have bought my dog winter boots. Her cute little toesies get so cold.

OK this is insane. I understand doing cowboy boots if the reception is in a barn but in a reception hall? For serious? Ugh. I'm sorry.
I can't stand cowboy boots/country stuff at all. Never mind country music (/vom). And boots are too overdone for weddings now. That being said, the ones you picked out are cute. They aren't too over the top and the heel is nice. I think they would be fine with the dress.
ETA: I don't think they're appropriate for a church wedding either, but if they had a barn reception I'd let them slide in a church.

I took that as just a saying like "everyone and their mother/brother etc." lol

rablissful pretty much covered what I was thinking about that. IMO cowboy boots should not be worn in a wedding unless it is outside. But I still think the boots you picked out will work.

LT is for agreeing with you about the venue not being appropriate for this trend, but I do not support the vomiting over country music!

I would definitely pick a pair you will wear again. If the bride wants a specific pair she should buy them. Cowboy boots are NMS but the ones you picked are super cute. I think they will look nice with that dress. I don't think they are too dark and I like the heel!

It was my FFFC a few weeks ago. I ran and hid after I said I hated it.
I'm a New Englander with a mom who HATED country music. The twangy-ness of it makes my ears bleed.

Those look fine and the price is way nicer than you'd be seeing if you went to places that specialize in western wear, like Boot Barn or Cavenders. I will say, the western wear stores will have the highest quality of boot and quality is important or your feet will kill you because the bottoms are so hard. The other stores will have a vastly larger selection for detailing and color, too (although, you will pay for it).
