Thank you @underdog25. I love weddings they make me so happy, can't wait to look at all the pics!
How long were you engaged? Almost a year
What does your ring look like? Pricess cut sapphire with diamond halo, and sapphire/diamond alternating eternity band.
What did your dress look like? Uhh so I had 2, (please do not quote)the 1st was a lace mermaid gown *Poof* 2nd was an age appropriate ball gown *Poof*
What were your wedding colours? Ivory and gold Favourite part of your wedding day? Omg the whole day, once I started down the aisle it was a fairytale
Any catastrophes or surprises on your wedding day? The band blew a fuse on the first dance some and it was the only time I came close to losing my shit!!
And add anything else you feel the need to share with us here all I cared about was throwing the best party I could for our friends and family. Everyone claims to have loved it, and we were featured on a major wedding website, so I hope mission accomplished!! We got married in CA with a relatively intimate crowd and threw a huge bash when we got back (I have a huge family) planning essentially two weddings was insane and not advisable :-) Hi @wallflwr926 best MOH ever!!
Edit for Internet safety :-). PM if super cuirious

Okay, guys, this is going to be a really fast post and delete, but this is how I know my husband loves me: he puts up with my stupid ideas, such as "Hey, let's switch outfits because it will be so funny!" LOL.
cakewench — holy hippo high five! I did my grad degree at GWU.
We did our engagement shots on campus. Our photographer had us put our hands in the hippo statue's mouth. MH had to struggle to keep it together because he knows what's been done to that statue...
I will try to post some wedding pics when I get home tonight!

Me too!
What? NO WAY! That is four of us. Are you still in the area, swivelchair5? Sometimes we talk about getting together IRL. Maybe some day we will. Maybe at Froggy Bottom Pub.

I'm still here. Froggy Bottom is the best named pub in the area. I only went once or twice, we used to hang out at Tonic.

Froggy was our post-softball bar of choice, until they moved it. Haven't been to the new one yet - G2G soon?
Also: another favorite part of my day. My grandfather married us. He, at he time, was no longer eloquent with words. We almost asked someone else to marry us., but in the end, I'm super sentimental. He has since passed and I'm so glad we chose sentiment over eloquence.
My grandfather married us too. He was so excited when we asked him and he did such a good job! He is thankfully still with us right now, but it is a memory I will cherish forever.
How long were you engaged?: 7 months What does your ring look like?:
What did your dress look like?:
What were your wedding colours?: Navy with Autum reds/yellows and oranges Favourite part of your wedding day?: The cake and the Hotel after lol actually it was because I was glad to sit down! Any catastrophes or surprises on your wedding day?: Nope, it was so small and the place did almost everything so I didn't have to worry. And add anything else you feel the need to share with us here Here are my favorite photos (check out the one where my kid is unimpressed)

MH's dad is a pastor and married us. It was so special, especially for MH who just could not contain is tears. It was really lovely, even though he went off script and thought he was being cute by inserting "cough cough grandchildren" here and there.

I love weddings, you ladies are freaking beautiful.
dnq please
How long were you engaged? 14 months What does your ring look like?
What did your dress look like? *poof* What were your wedding colours? Chocolate and Tiffany Blue Favourite part of your wedding day? I loved getting my make-up and hair done for my wedding. I wanted it to be beautiful yet simple. *poof*
Any catastrophes or surprises on your wedding day? One of my bridesmaids passed out at the end of the wedding, when she was walking out during the recessional she slowly started going down. Her boyfriend had to pick her up and carry her out. My wedding was outdoors in September and that day it decided to be 88 degrees in southern heat. We probably should not have done those shots before the wedding either. She was okay once she got inside and cooled off.
And add anything else you feel the need to share with us here. I would love to do that day all over again, it was so much fun.

Arg I've been trying to post pictures but I can't get a link to the photo through my phone. I was going to just post links to the pic but the site shows my full name. Maybe next time!
This is so fun!!! I'll post later when I get home from work and have access to my wedding pics.
But I made sure to prioritize looking through all of your wedding pics over doing actual work because I didn't want to miss anything before people start DDs.
