I refuse to wear a t shirt from my current school this week because I'm afraid it will be bad luck. It's a great school and I love the people there but I want to be at the other school more!

Finally all caught up. Back home yesterday evening and have been in a post-vacation hangover today. I finally said eff it and just spent most of the day at the pool. DS missed me a ton and DD didn't seem to care. I got a shell-socked DH that kept saying "I don't know what I'd do if you ever left" and a semi-cleaned house. Overall, totally worth the LO and DH free trip!
I apologize if anyone sees racist shit through my FB feed. I never know exactly what will pop up. My old HS flag was the fucking confederate flag and people are still saying it was ok because it wasn't meant the same way the real flag was. My brain is exploding.
I'm so tired of reading the comments on Facebook about it. We are hearing a ton about it. It wasn't even a prominent flag during the war, but was brought back in the 1960s by the KKK as a source of intimidation and racism. Why the F is it flying in front of the state house? At least our governor is calling for its removal. It's the only thing I have been proud of her for doing. The Nazi flag is also heritage, but it's not exactly looked highly on to fly it around, is it?
cl8badb That sucks that the nurse didn't call you back. Of all the days... Hopefully you get some answers to your questions soon. Also, that chicken Caesar thing looks fabulous! Did you make it or buy it? Is it on pizza crust? In intrigued. And hungry...
Bought it. Its a cross between pizza crust and a pita.
In normal life news: N has claimed Sophie as her lovey. Any J13 or older babies do this? Is it OK to have in the crib?
I don't think you are supposed to leave them alone with her because they can choke on the leg. I saw something on Facebook, but I didn't know if it was real or a scare tactic.

I'm actually glad you bought it because if there was a recipe I would be in trouble!

Holy crap... This PP period stuff is for the birds. I don't remember ever feeling like this before. My second one started today and for the last 4 days or so I have felt as crappy as I did in first tri. Nauseous, exhausted, starving, super teary about little stuff. I'm almost wanting to go back on BCP just to help control this business, even though my tubes are tied! I had a moment of panic where I was like *shit! Am I the girl with the failed tubal?!*

megsw85 E kept saying boys who is it. So I said Colton and Travis. Then the whole way home she was saying Colcon, Twavis! next time!
PS I didn't see any suspenders on your H!
Also for the record omg Travis is going to be a pimp. He was flirting with the waitress! He is soo cute I just can't get over it!
ETA: FX for a quiet / peaceful ride home! Thanks again, to you and DH. I had to set aside my anger towards him for the stunt he pulled the other night, especially when he paid for my supper!
Colton just passed out. We've been in the car for 30 min. Fingers crossed it's for the night and this isn't just a nap. It's an hour before his normal bedtime. We still have 2 hrs of driving to go.
Dude, how many miles do you have on your car?? Kilometers?
In the 4 years I've had this car I've put 115 thousand kilometres.

I'm not gonna lie that's one of my fears. My period shows up late at all and I'm oh no my tubal failed I can't be that person.
I also found that my first 4 or so periods after Colton were just brutal.
germaphobe the suspenders were under his shirt. He didn't want to tell me cause I'd make fun of him. Which I have been all afternoon. I want to snap them so bad.
Somehow I just got bamboozled into a $180 essential oil purchase....
Prepare yourself for "there's an oil for that" comments!
Hahaha. I bought some too today. My friend put her oil voodoo on me multiple times while in Turks and Caicos and I see them differently now!
workinit - You two will have to report back! I've been intrigued by them, but only have ever bought one (tea tree oil) for use in a dandruff rinse and a facial cleanser. How are you using them/planning to use them?

Oy! That happened to me too. Actually I was a little interested but it turned into a big purchase. It's been worth it for me though...helps with my allergies a ton and some other random things. Not all the oils have worked for me, but everyone has different experiences (except for the people trying to sell that claim everything is life changing). Have fun with them.

musicalsilver I used the peppermint oil multiple times for my digestive issues, something for a bug bite, and another mix for my sunburn. There was another one she did for my headache/hangover that finally sold me.
Doctor's visit done and all is moving in the right direction. My numbers are dropping, but not at 0 yet, so I go back in another couple of weeks and have to wait for a period before we can start trying again. Thanks for the support ladies, you've really helped me through the last couple of weeks! The bad part is I'm back to work tomorrow so my probing time will be cut unless they unblocked the site (not likely)...boo!

Thats 71,457 miles
That sounds about right. I've been pretty consistently putting 30K kms a year on my vehicles for the last 10 years. It seems impossible around these parts to do much less.
musicalsilver what 42butterflies said! Digestive issues, help with allergies, illness, burns, bug bites, bug spray, mood enhancement, sleep aid, cleaning product.... I bought the diffuser too... I wanted it all!!

That just seems crazy to me. I've had my car for 6 years and I currently have 25K miles on it.
I put about 20-30k miles on my car each year. I've had my car for almost 2 years and have just over 40k miles. It doesn't help my daily commute is 60 miles round trip
Still catching up... Wanted to say big hugs to those of you with sucky moms, mine sucks but she is looking like Donna Reed right now. I will say that all I know about parenting is doing the opposite of what both my parents did.
And regarding the pregnancy interval the docs told me to wait one year. I got pregnant two weeks before E's birthday. I wonder if that contributed to losing that baby, there are some tmi details that lead me to that conclusion.
And majwv8 I know old navy used to sell shorts based on inseam length so I would start there if I were you. (Sorry if it has been said already).
