Baby girl has been cluster feeding like a mad woman this evening...the shortest time between feeds was 45 minutes! If I was lucky I got an hour and a half. FX that means she's tanked up for the night!

we came home today!
I pooped and it wasn't awful!
I drank a delicious glass of champagne!
Boobs are getting harder and harder, but it still looks like colostrum is coming out., how much longer until it's changed to reg. BM? Bc woah, they are ephing huge right now.

We're having that kinda night too! DH has fed her 4 times in the last 3 hours, and they haven't all been small feeds. Seeing as how it's now 11pm here, I'm hoping that she's good for awhile and we can get a nice long stretch of sleep. FX for 3.5 hours (her longest stretch so far, only accomplished once)!!!!!

LO ate at 645, fell asleep at 730. Just woke at 11 to eat. Usually he gives us 3 hr stretches between feedings so I was shocked! Of course I had just fallen asleep when he woke up..... Now if he can go right back l to sleep and give another 4hr stretch between feedings, that'd be glorious!!!

I'm a late milk getter-inner, 4 days this time, 5 days the first time. Is the colostrum getting more watery? That could be a sign of transition.
Tuesdays our downtown has a farmers market. We live a mile away, so I walk down, shop, and walk home. It gets me out of the house and I feel "active." Today, right as I'm about to leave, I notice the skies darken. I step outside and the thunder is rolling. Then the rain starts to pour. No walk or farmers market for me this week
LO slept allllll day today, only waking to nurse and then would go right back down. Has me a little nervous for what the night is going to bring. Lately he's been having longer stretches of being awake, but definitely not today! Wish me luck :/
We just went down after a feeding. We switched formula yesterday and she's been much happier today and not as gassy. I'm hoping we have a good night tonight, lastnight was rough?

LO is eating ALOT more tonight. She's had her witching hour between 8-11 and won't sleep between feedings. We also gave her her first bath...she was not amused lol
LO was awake a lot this evening, so I'm really hoping for a good stretch of sleep. He fell asleep about 8:30 and I'm dream feeding now. Hopefully he'll go until 3-ish.
I only nappy change before dream feeds if he's too asleep to latch without it.
+1 ETA- which is usually the case for us, so usually yes. I try to be gentle and quiet and keep it as dark as possible and it wakes him just enough to eat and he falls back asleep while eating.
I'm up for the 1 MOTN feeding (aka pumping) and I forgot that I washed my hands-free pumping bra- it's back upstairs in our 2nd floor laundry room and I was NOT about to go back upstairs to get it. So I'm awkwardly trying to balance the pump while still being able to be on here. Because priorities, duh.

LO slept really poorly all day today, constantly hungry or gassy. Seems to be sleeping better tonight, fx because I was ready to lose my shit today. Two weeks as of this friday. Please get easier soon.
LO slept for four hours and I woke up before she did to feed her! I'm hoping our pedi recommends we let her nurse more on demand at night, too, when we go this afternoon for her weight check! She's currently asleep at the boob, but she's been eating really well at both breasts and all of her supplementing yesterday was BM I pumped. Yes!
H annoyed me tonight. He drove to a meeting 2.5 hours away and back yesterday, which was necessary, I get it. My parents came over and let me nap and such so it was fine. LO wouldn't go to sleep after her 9-10 feed and somehow I was up rocking her while he slept - and I have a phone interview at 9 AM today. Annoying.
DH took the first shift - 10:30 to midnight LO is too focused on pooping to sleep. Now doing thing midnight feed. Right boob looks red... Trying to figure out if it's nothing or something. Just want sleep

I've been awake for seven hours and I'm not tired! Most of that time feeding E but she slept in her bouncer for about two hours and I got to do things! Not much, but I had a full meal, washed a load of laundry, and wrote down all the stuff I need to find places for in the nursery. Yay!
pghtruelove, those kittens are so cute! Congratulations!
LO won't sleep in her bassinet anymore and Idk what to do. Sometimes she'll have a nap in her bouncer but mainly she wants to sleep next to me. I've made the bed as safe as I can for cosleeping (DH has been sleeping on the couch because his snoring makes me murderous--and probably so he can get a bit more sleep) but I wasn't planning to bedshare and it makes me nervous. I know a lot of people have done it but I'm so worried about it being safe. I feel really guilty putting my convenience above her safety but she won't stay down in the bassinet and when I let her sleep in bed with me we can sleep for four hours at a time! Yesterday she actually slept for six hours in a row! Of course I worried afterward if that was too long, but she's been gaining half a pound a week and the LC said 6 hours is fine. Now if only she would get on a semi-predictable schedule! All in good time I suppose.
