If it weren't got G having to wear closed toed shoes at school he probably wouldn't be wearing socks. I'd send him in his sandals everyday if I could lol
I don't get why people shoot off their own fireworks. It isn't impressive.
I think it's because there's an extra "oh shit we all might die" factor. The neighbor of a friend of mine would shoot them off in his front yard. Drunk as a skunk, and right towards the power lines. #dontdothisathome
I'm never going back to washing my hair every day. It's never looked better.
Popular! Its good to let your natural oils sit on your hair. You can brush it a lot and bring the oil down to the tips.
I just can't. My hair is so thin that it's a gross, nasty grease ball if I don't wash it every day. Like, there's no way I could not wash it every day. I would feel (and look!) disgusting!!

I truly thought the exact same thing. It took a little time to adjust but it really seems to have helped. My hair even seems thicker.
ETA my hairdresser had been alarmed at how thin my hair had become. He commented last time that it had gotten thicker.

Apparently, your hair is supposed to adjust its oil production if you don't wash it every day. I can't do it, though: fine hair just like you. I use cleansing conditioner every other day. So it's still cleaning, but not as much. TBH, my hair looks better on the days I use that.
I have very little problem with the wellness plans most companies are rolling out/ have rolled out requiring people to get biometric screenings etc. the employers don't get the information and it can really help lower premiums. I do prefer the carrot method of do this and you get a reduction. Vs don't do this and we will increase your premiums.
Doing his annual blood test for work is the only medical attention my DH gets.
I can't stand when people ask me when we are coming home for a visit. Why do I always have to spend the $$$ to see you? If you want to see us that bad come on out here.

I think it depends on the person. My mom cant skip a day either. I have very thick and wavy hair.

For the first 28 years of my life, I thought this too. My hair is as thin as it can be and I thought there was no other option but to wash it everyday. Then I got pregnant and completely wiped out and feeling sick. I was so blah that I quit washing it every day. It looked bad for awhile but it really did adjust. Ever since I wash it every other day, and sometimes even every third day if I don't have to go out. I use dry shampoo on the non wash days and I shampoo it twice on the washing days (I found I actually get more of the oil out better if i shampoo twice). Definitely worth the awkward period.

I don't get the point of letting everyone know the sex of your baby on a baby shower invitation.
I can see gender reveal parties, saying it after baby is born, even revealing at the baby shower. But on a baby shower invite? Wouldn't it be more fun to just let me know in person, instead of answering "we are letting everyone know on the baby shower invitation"?

I don't get kids in shopping areas or restaurants without socks and or a pair of shoes. I've seen kids walking, i don't think the parents would do the same.
Oh yea- I roll my eyes when people say they don't want to do Santa because realizing Santa wasn't real effected their childhood. Don't want to do it for almost any other reason- you do you, but because it was "traumatic" or something makes me think you don't kno what traumatic means.
I think this is ridiculous. I've seen it before. People honestly feel "betrayed" or "traumatized" that their parents were "lying" to them? Those words should be reserved for appropriate situations.
Don't want to do Santa? Fine, don't do Santa!
I feel like there are no parents that have ever told the story of Santa to their kids in a malicious way. Parents want their kids to experience the magic.
