Oh I totally forgot to mention I finally pulled the trigger and ordered cloth diapers for DS. I'm so excited! They should be here in 7-10 days. I've wanted to do them since before he was born but I always found some excuse not to. badw0lf I may have a ton of questions soon. I know there are more CD mommas here too, but I don't remember who.
Happy Friday ladies. DD slept almost through the night she went down at 7 and woke up at 1 & 4 to eat and went back to sleep after those wake ups and was up at 6:30 for good. I slept ok. I kept checking on her. I forgot what her sleeping longer that 3/4 hours felt like. Going shopping again today for more kids clothes. I feel like I never buy myself anything anymore thought.
Enjoy your day ladies.
I'm the same way. My stepmom gave me $120 for my birthday and I spent at least $80 of it on DS.

Ugh I wish you ladies were right but weve dealt with the rolling and the sleep regression already. Both were horrible for about a week then got better. No idea why he suddenly forgot how to sleep.
toadandbuggie that is the sweetest job transition I've ever heard of, from both coworkers & husband. miniwheat hope your mouth (and eyes) are better soon
Got up this morning and the house was 6 degrees warmer than it's supposed to be. Feeding DS then going to see if the outside unit is frozen. Maybe I'll replace it for DH's birthday. It's not like I have any idea of anything else to get him.
babycfeb2015, Sorry your sleep is so rough. I have a bad sleeper too with my older child. It does work itself out. For me my DD really changed sleep wise at 7 months.

Hooray! What did you get?
I went with the Best Bottoms AI2 set from Nicki's. I like that I have 15 days to try them and if I end up hating them I can just return them for credit.

Remember talking about being on fleek awhile back?
Well I've learned now that "shipping" is a thing, and not like mailing a package. According to urban dictionary, it means approving of a relationship. Huh?

My students will say this when I change their seating chart. I'm apparently shipping when I put certain students together who should "date."

This is so weird. I'm a fairly young mom and I'm already afraid of not understanding anything they say, especially when they're teenagers.

Sleep crisis mode over here. DS has woken up 30 minutes earlier than the previous morning for the fourth morning in a row, which means he is now waking and refusing to go back down two hours earlier than normal. He has had this set wake up time for like four months and I'm terrified he's resetting his wake up. Plus he's still going to bed at his normal time. Ugh. This is so miserable. I'm so sleepy cranky.
misshart00 I feel like I'm youngish (29) and my students remind me everyday how old I am. I know I'm not truly old but I work in a profession where I'm constantly reminded of my age. Not in a bad way!

I've actually heard this term for years in fandom. Like, Fan1: "I'm shipping Hermione and Harry." Fan2: "Nooooo Hermione and Ron forever!!" Fan3: "Whatever. Harry & Ron are my OTP." (One true pair)

Hey, I know there's been talk of convertible car seats here and there. We're looking for one that will fit in our glorified go kart of a car. (Ford Fiesta.)
Any BTDT moms or FT moms that have already made the switch with subcompact cars? I know baby stores will let you check displays in your car, but if someone has suggestions to start, that would be awesome.
Carters has everything 40% off except clearance. If you spend more than $40 you get an extra 20% off with code july20. Less than $40 use July 15 for an extra 15% off.
Nothing interesting going on here. My sister was here today and we hung out for a while. She's been traveling in the US for 3 months so it was nice to see her again and get to talk. And she loved seeing DD.
babycfeb2015 my guy "forgot" how to sleep too. I think its some wonder week thing though since he figured out how to roll both ways and sit up within the past week or two.
Yay for fluffy mail @hollyfromtn! CDs are fun! I just get lazy sometimes and throw on some sposies because I'm too lazy to take 30 seconds to stuff DS's pocket diapers lol
Happy Friday! I'm on day I-don't-know-anymore of being sick while DS is on day two of refusing all sleep. Sigh. I've been so stopped up that my boss went out and bought me a neti pot a couple days ago. It has helped tremendously, along with my chiropractor doing his amazing "voodoo magic" on my sinuses. I can breathe! Mostly.
I never understand how I manage to get horrible sinus infections in the middle of summer almost every year :/ Ugh
hollydfromtn, Yay cloth! I mostly do prefolds and covers myself, but it's fun! We do disposables at night because I haven't figured out a good cloth alternative. And I keep them around for babysitters just in case we've used the AIOs and pockets.
G is 5 months today and being a bit of a fuss budget. I'm having an emotionally rough day, just things in general, nothing specific. However, I only have the kitchen left on the naptime chores list and then it's knitting for the rest of the day.
