hollydfromtn, Yay cloth! I mostly do prefolds and covers myself, but it's fun! We do disposables at night because I haven't figured out a good cloth alternative. And I keep them around for babysitters just in case we've used the AIOs and pockets.
G is 5 months today and being a bit of a fuss budget. I'm having an emotionally rough day, just things in general, nothing specific. However, I only have the kitchen left on the naptime chores list and then it's knitting for the rest of the day.
I ordered a couple of overnight inserts that I can snap a regular insert on top of it to double up. FX this works because S is a heavy wetter when he sleeps. I have to change his disposables in the middle of the night or he'll pee right through it.
I guess one of the kiddos at vbs saw me walk into the church with DD because he announced that he knew I had a baby brother when he came into my room. First I was so confused then I felt impressed that I looked young enough to have a baby brother
lilyelayne, I'm doing blankets for friends' babies. I'm finishing off one for my friend whose son is 10 days younger than G, and then I've got one for a 2 week old, one for an any day now, and one for a November baby.

You totally mentioned this recently, didn't you? A handmade blanket is such a thoughtful baby gift. G has 4 and I get all the warm fuzzy emotions when I see them - and one was from one of DH's patients I've never met.
I love insulated plastic cups, but don't know why Tervis is better than the others. Maybe the lifetime guarantee? Is that still a Tervis thing? I'm kinda camelbak obsessed, but somehow my entire collection of Eddys now taste like soap. Sadness.
misshart00, that is weird. I don't think I've ever seen a Fedex or UPS truck park in someones driveway
FedEx just paid our $65 claim because their driver turfed our lawn a little backing up our driveway. FedEx home delivery and Express always park on our driveway. The mailman parks on my driveway when delivering packages, too.

The whole experience was just odd. It felt very much like "my parents made me get a job so I'm not going to actually put any effort in." I had to sign for the package on the little digital thing and he didn't have the stylus.

Yeah, but I like it, so I'll always gladly talk about it again.

And now I'm desperately ready for it to be 7. Just went to get DD out of her crib. Her shorts were off and her diaper was on the other side of the room. Her bed was very wet. It was also all down the crib slats. This is why Clorox wipes were invented.

mamabutt2 ohh I didnt think about that he is learning to sit up this week.
This kid likes to keep me so confused-he put himself to sleep for 3 naps in his crib with very minimal fussing after that hellacious night of sleep. Wtf kid? I mean its awesome but so confused.

My camelbak is strictly for water and everything else goes in my tervis. It's the perfect combo lol.
Ugh I wish you ladies were right but weve dealt with the rolling and the sleep regression already. Both were horrible for about a week then got better. No idea why he suddenly forgot how to sleep.
I'm right there with you. We've been doing 2-3 wake ups to eat lately. Then, because we're at a cottage, I have to get her when she wakes in the am. This has been anywhere between 5:30-6:00. At home I would just feed and put her back and she would go back after 10 min. But sound really travels here so I have to keep bringing her to bed with me.
We're getting pretty far off track here but I guess that's what happens when you go on vacation.
I think the culprit here is teeth. At least the early stages of teething.
emilyz320, look at all that hair! So adorable! And I agree; they are getting too big too fast. I just stared at LO's hands for a few minutes today because they're looking more and more like chubby little boy hands and less like tiny baby hands!

It is not my day. And now I'm more disgusted than before. I got a glass out of the cabinet and filled it with water and drank it. I thought it tasted slightly off but not a big deal. And then I looked down. There was this bacteria/growth/mold in the bottom of the glass. I'm so sick to my stomach. And now H is freaking out asking if I should go to the hospital.

Oh no! FX it's just your head making you feel sick rather than actually being sick.

I'm pretty sure it is. I didn't feel sick to my stomach before I saw it.
I am watching MMCH with DD before she goes to bed. DH is putting DS to bed. I just peeked in to see if he was asleep and they are sitting in our room watching Baywatch. Boys.
I have realized when we look back at baby pictures / videos it is going to seem like H does all the playing with DD and that made me sad. He just doesn't pick up a camera for those moments.

Excuse my weepy moment.
Same! I had this realization a little while ago and DH has made a concerted effort to capture me in pics more!
