lemon200 @wildermom good luck to both of you today.
RandomName yes I recommend not flipping on your back. Both times I went for a pregnancy massage laying on my back made me feel really nauseous/light-headed.
So I just got back from labour & delivery. Baby's movements were a lot quieter yesterday, but I did a couple kick counts before bed and they were fine and things seemed to pick up. Then I woke up at 4 to pee and felt nothing for almost 45 mins which is really unusual... So I went in for a NST and everything looks good. Not sure if he's just in a different position now or really out of room. The nurse asked if I'd felt any contractions and I said no, but then she said looking at the monitor it seems like I'm having small ones... So now I'm stressed that I can't differentiate between contractions/movement/just a firm belly. Anyway, they sent me home and I'm back in bed. I'm glad I went in to check. DH was super annoying though, telling me even if I'm stressed its no excuse to have a "tone" with him. Argghhh.
Hmmmmmm, I thought baby girl was firmly head down, but the hiccups I'm feeling right now are well above my belly button. I had some pretty severe cramping last night (enough that I really started to wonder if labor might be starting), so now I'm wondering if she flipped? Ultimately it doesn't matter because I'm already scheduled for a RCS, but now I just want to know! She's big, so i would have guessed she didnt have any room to flip. Appointment tomorrow, so I'll ask.
Also, I forgot my yogurt this morning
I had serious hiccups in my side the other day and I know for a fact that girlfriend is always low with her head down. So all is not lost! Maybe she's just shifted a little on you.
So many appointments and exciting things going on around here. Good luck to everyone!
I'm supposed to have a pedicure tomorrow, but I have some weird rash on my foot. It pretty much looks like dry skin and little blisters. DH said it is some form of eczema. Nothing is helping and he said I can't use a steroid cream until after baby girl is here. I can't really subject anyone to that, but I want a pedicure!! Wah wah.
Was up more times than I can count, stupid me for drinking iced coffee at 4pm. I can thank the coffe for the midnight BM. It is so exciting to wake up to new baby faces! Good luck to all with appointments today.
Today is broken up weird, no time to get into any one project so I might as well resign to slug status.
I think DH has some nesting fever, he was talking about rearranging the bedroom. NO. NO. NO. How about you clean out the office, honey. You know, the supposed nursery.
queenb, I was monitored in L&D earlier in this pregnancy after a fall and the monitor showed I was having tons of contractions and I felt nothing. So that is my normal too!
Good luck to everyone with dr appointments and ultrasounds! My check up is in 2 hours. I always go in with questions to ask then I forget them by the time the OB comes in.
DH's work is going to be stretched thin next week. There's not that many instructors at his school, and a few of them are on leave and one is on paternity leave. So H is having to teach multiple classes a day instead of his usual one. I told him I'll do my best to go into labor Sunday night so he doesn't have to go in . Plus baby would be a great birthday present for me.

GL to all the appointments today!
I'm positive my little lady dropped, I can't stand up without nearly peeing myself and feeling like my insides might fall out. Also, the BH are getting ridiculous! Grocery shopping last night, and had one about every 10 mins the entire time. More when I got home and was putting groceries away. Sat down on the couch to maybe start timing them... and they stop. Ugh. I keep feeling like the end is near, but then I remember I still have a couple of weeks or more.
Lots of important appointments today! Good luck everyone!
Today is my 30th birthday and I had to come into work early so I can take DD to the doctor this afternoon. So goes being an adult. But, DH and I both took tomorrow off to do house stuff and my mom is coming up Saturday to watch DD overnight so I can get a massage and we can do dinner, movie, and stay in a hotel. I'm most excited about getting brunch at one of my favorite places Sunday morning. We haven't been in forever because it's ~45 minutes away and it would such a pain to lug DD there.
elizabethnevadap Yes you can throw up due to reflux and yes the generic Zantac may not be as bioavailable as the brand since generics can gain FDA approval with a mere 80% efficacy compared to the branded option. (Sorry...I just went full-blown drug rep on you!)
ajetter...maybe your OB won't approve topical steroid use, but both my derm and OB do so ask if you're curious rather than assuming. Also, in my experience (sadly, it is extensive) eczema doesn't blister, per your description, and your foot is a weird place for it to present, especially if you've never had it before.
More likely, it could be a type of dermatitis (perhaps allergic contact) or fungal infection. Have you been sweating in your shoes or walking around barefoot in public areas like the pool?

shayr, my exercise ball is from the fitness section of Target...it cost less than 20 bucks I think...I just pulled it out of the closet from 2 years ago.
funhaven, make sure your chiro uses the drop table method! Its best on a pregnant pelvis!
My doc told me yesterday that there wasn't allowed to be any shenanigans yet...perk of being an end of the monther.
Not sure what we will do today...maybe some more pool time? The dresser is almost finished...so maybe we'll go purchase the knobs and get it put together.

Maybe they are tiny little baby farts you are feeling?
I feel like my belly is so hot to the touch, or it is my hands. I dunno, whenever I put my hand on my belly it feels like it is burning hot. I am going to walk over to one of my coworkers and have them feel my hand to see if it is that. So weird!
hey all! sounds like a busy day today. I plan on making it to a band rehearsal today to collect fundraiser and order forms, and happily watch my sub run it. He's on his own for the parade Monday so hopefully the kids are ready.
Tomorrow DH has off because it is the annual CAMPING TRIP TO Knoebels!!!!!!! Omfg so excited.
It's awesome to hear someone else know what knoebels is!!! My family owns a cabin and land in the mountains of PA about an hour from there so we take trips there or try to yearly. I love it! If it weren't 8 hours from where we currently live my husband and I would be there in a heart beat.

With the talk of laurelita missing yesterday, I went and checked. She was last active on June 30th. I sent her a message and hope to hear a response...just let her know that we miss her and hope that all is well.

Add me to the appointment club! Getting ready to head out soon and curious to learn about baby's current position.
I am not considering doing anything to try to start labor (yet). I'm still trying to prepare our house, my body, and my mind that this is all indeed happening!
Good luck to all the ladies with appointments today!
Today is DH's birthday. I'm taking him out for sushi tonight, but right now I feel horrible. Woke up nauseous with chills. I have zero desire to work. I have a meeting at 10:30, then dropping off yet another jug o'pee. Then hopefully crawling back into bed so I can rest up and feel better by the time he gets home. He's been so great this past week with all my issues and trips to l&d. The man deserves a nice night out.
Good luck to everyone who has appointments today! Ahhhh, so exciting!
I've had basically one massive cramp/contraction(?) since I woke up this morning, faaaaaantastic. Have been shuffling around the office like a grandma, and every time the receptionist sees me she giggles. I'm sure it looks funny but dude I'm actually in some pain over here, can you knock it off?!?
Good luck with all the appointments today ladies! We are in the home stretch!
I need to pack my bag for the induction next week. I have baby boy's ready. I just can't motivate myself to do mine. Good thing I am only 5 mins from my hospital and if we forget something my parents can bring over since they are watching dd.
Now a little bit of a rant- I am frustrated win extended family (aunts, cousins, SILs etc). Several times this past week I have gotten phone calls that people are coming over or want play dates with daughter literally when they were on their way to my house or 5 mins before they wanted it to happen. Today I got a text from my mom telling me she heard from one of my aunts that my cousin was coming in town and planned on seeing me today. That's news to me. My mom is frustrated for me too.
I am a planner and dd likes to know what's going on the day before (apple doesn't fall far). I usually plan out activities for her a few days in advance and let her know so she gets excited. This summer we have been going to the pool a lot. I really enjoy lounging in the pool. I have had no swelling and I think that being in the pool helps.
Anyway dear family don't just expect to pop in at my house. Just because I am preganant does not make me housebound. I have an active 5 year old that needs to be out and about. And with a week left before our lives change, I am spending as much time with dd because her world is about to be rocked.
Or seriously just give me the courtesy of direct phone call. Not a random text message.
Rant over. Sorry it's happened too much this week and I fear it's going to get worse when the baby is here.

smore, I'm so sorry. That is super inconsiderate of people. I'd be making sure my garage is closed and not answer my door if somebody did that to me. Just plain rude.

I have done this before. I may consider opening the door in my underwear. Nobody wants to see that. It might spread through the fam and stop it.
We will be at the pool today. It's dd's last swim lesson and we plan on hanging out for a while afterwards .
Today is 1 month until my due date! August 23rd. I haven't felt a single contraction or BH or anything and I've been blessed with a super uneventful pregnancy. This kid will probably be late. I hope he comes before September 1st because in Florida we get a free year of VPK (preschool) if kids turn 4 before September 1st. Otherwise we'll be paying for another year if daycare. So, don't be too late baby!!
Also, our hospital has a ton of birth balls. We had 12 in our classroom at the birth class and I can't imagine they would take every single one out of L&D.

36 week appointment is tomorrow, along with another NST. Everything's going pretty well, apparently, according to my two previous NSTs, I'm having regular contractions when I'm monitored, but I don't feel them. So, we'll see where that goes. I imagine it'll be my turn for the GBS as well.
UO with my movers: To be here on fucking time for the pregnant lady. We got up early yesterday, puttered around, put the dogs up, and finally called because we were wondering when the movers would be there. Oh, turns out they're not going to be here until Friday, making it 15 days since our stuff went on the truck, and 7 since their original arrival date was supposed to be. Fortunately that means the moving company will now have to cover some of our expenses, like a foam mattress, eating out, and some household goods since we don't have ours. I'm hoping this has lit a fire under their asses.

At this point they should be refunding your entire cost of moving. That is absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for. I'd be lighting up their phones on a daily basis.
