@justinslovo I'm watching this Friends episode where Phoebe's brother is engaged to Kitty Foreman and it made me think of you. Also, how dare you make out with an 18 year old at 60 years old?! Lol
I've been working on my registry on amazon for a while now. I used Baby Bargains and Lucie's List and picked things from there, then I went into BRU and tested out the things I chose. That made it a little less overwhelming because I didn't have to make any decisions with all the stuff in front of me. And if there's anything I don't like, I can just go back to my book and website and find an alternative.
I'll eventually move some of the stuff to Target registry, but it's helping me feel like I have control over something by doing it this way.
slurpeelove gah, the thought of a registry is the most overwhelming, anxiety inducing thing EVER. I have a total mental block against it. I really wish I had a friend who has recently had kids and could just walk me through the entire store, but unfortunately I'm the first of my friends to have kids. It's insane how much babies need!
I made an Amazon wish list years ago for friends who were having similar feelings. It is all the stuff that I used and loved. Let me know if you want the link.
This is my second night this week that I've had a nightmare that ends in sleep paralysis. It's TERRIFYING. I really hope this doesn't become A Thing during my pregnancy because it is NOT COOL.

I've never heard of that but it sounds awful and scary.

That'd be great! Let me see if I can figure out how to send a PM here
I really fucking hate when I accidentally click on the ad at the bottom of the page instead of the next page button and it brings me all the way to the stupid play store and ruins EVERYTHING. (Little cranky this morning lol)
You can also scroll to the right instead of pressing next page, assuming you have a smart phone

Was up for two hours last night tossing and turning trying to get that damn snoogle in a comfortable position. I don't have the heart to tell the hubby I really don't like that thing. He was so excited when I opened it at Christmas. I am going to keep trying to make it work.
I have a Boppy body pillow that took some time to get used to. I found that I needed to still use my regular pillow under my head, so I hug the top of the Boppy to my chest and the rest between my knees. I'm assuming that the bigger I get the more comfortable the pillow will be, but for now I really just need to to keep me mostly on my side (i'm a stomach sleeper). Not sure if this will work with the snoogle, but it seems to work for me with the Boppy!

It's a super beautiful sunny day and 27F here in MN! Thinking about going for a walk with H in a bit. Just have to find a little more motivation to leave my comfy couch first.

You just made me really appreciate Texas
Not that I've ventured out of my house today. But it's beautiful outside. Lol

Well, yesterday it was 40F! lol I am super jelly of your nice Texas weather though. Should be seeing those temps here in a couple months (if we're lucky).

It's been unseasonably warm this winter... I effing hate the cold so i love it. The two years I lived in NC about killed me.. And compared to the northern states even NC isn't really cold. But it snowed there and I was not a fan! Always thought I would like snow, but turns out, it sucks. Lol
I went in looking for maternity pants. I didn't even realize I was arriving right when they were opening so the store was freshly organized. They had all the jeans hung up by the waist band so I could easily spot the maternity ones. I got 3 pairs for $7 each!!! Yay, no more squished belly! 2 were Oh Baby by Motherhood and 1 pair was Motherhood Maternity (same brand?)
I also got some goods at Michael's to make a DIY chalkboard to start doing my preggo photos with.
And the crockpot is set up with stuff to make Stacked Enchiladas.
Today was nice. Sun was out and in the mid 40's. Tomorrow starts a blizzard in our area that should end by Tuesday night with 24-36" of snow. If I wasn't pregnant and in the mountains, I wouldn't be able to sleep with all the excitement. Now i'm just miserable. That much snow will screw up the city for at least a week or two and I can't even enjoy it.

I'm sick. just developed a low grade fever on top of my congestion. I'm super pissed about it too. I hate being sick and it worries me because of baby.

Well now that I'm not sick all of the time and living on whatever I can keep down (generally high in carbs and not particularly nutritional), I guess I will get my shit together and get to some serious eating right and working out.
I'm taking my big butt for a walk around the block, ladies. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Feel better queenofcats -- I hope the fever doesn't get any higher.

This makes me hate you a little! It's way too cold here. Even DH who doesn't care about cold said its pretty bad - it's warmed up a lot since noon when he said this, now he thinks its perfect weather :/

We must live in the same area. Not looking forward to 2-3ft of snow!!!

Help Appreciated! I hope I'm just psychic myself out, but I'm fairly certain DH and I have had some serious and long term carbon monoxide exposure. we finally confirmed a long standing leak in our woodstove stove stack, when a buddy broke a hole in the stack late last night. Obviously burning all last night was a bad idea, and that poses a certain problem...but more unsettling is the small leaks we found upstairs. Smoke has been leaking out there too, but we'd never realized, because if you're starting the fire, you're down AT the fire.
mild CO poisoning explains a LOT of what we've been experiencing lately, DH seeming to "project" my pregnancy symptoms on himself, waking up with daily headaches everyday but only when I sleep at home, horrible vomiting (for me) that was diagnosed as HG, and extreme fatigue enough that we both got tested for mono within the last few mos. It could also explain the numbness I get in limbs and why watching TV downstairs makes me dizzy. I'm so worried reading possible effects online, and have a dr. Appointment tomorrow - but the fact still stands we live in this two room barn heated by this stove, and are supposed to get a huge storm tonight. I can't just not heat the house!
Sorry that was so long...and I don't really know what anyone can do. I guess I'm just hoping I'm psyching myself out and someone will tell me how nutty I am

I just woke up from a 2 hour glorious nap! But my throat hurts. I'm hoping it's just allergies and I'm not getting sick for the 2nd time this month. Please God no!!!
I got diagnosed with the flu on Friday. I have been home and practically in bed since then. Didn't help that DH is a duke in Mardi Gras. I missed 3 events and so ready to get out of this house. I'm ready to feel better!
