My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs.

Both twins were up all night coughing. No fevers, everyone is eating fine, I'm getting some smiles here and there but SO MUCH COUGHING. The weekend clinic at my peds office opens at noon so I'm going to call and see if I can get them in. Not sure what kind of treatment we can even do. Do I send them to day care tomorrow? Or take the day off work? See if father in law can keep them? Ugghh
DS has a cough right now. I called the nurse's line and they told me to keep an eye on it. Maybe you can call yours and see what they say? I'm supposed to take DS to daycare like it's business as usual.
Yeah I'm going to call and see what they say first- this is the first time they have ever been sick and it's freaking me out. Does yours have a wet cough? What did they say to watch for?

I have a cold. I am up with DD with a cloth around my face to contain any boogers :/ DH is peacefully sleeping because he had to take my mom to the airport at 4am. That is the only reason he is peacefully sleeping right now...
We have to get groceries today, clean the house, do laundry, and get ready for the week. I have to figure out a way to call my boss and explain my crazy daycare story. I'm not going to work tomorrow until I talk to the director and figure something out.
Also had to tell MIL that we don't have time to go over there all afternoon. So now I'm sure more drama is headed my way. It's crazy to me that I have to justify and explain wanting to be a parent to my own kid.
Good for you for going to the director. That lady sounds crazy. What's up with In laws wanting weekend time? Mine always want to come over on Sundays and I feel like that's the only time I really get to see my babies. That's my time! Babysitting for a date night is one thing- taking up my Sunday afternoon is another.
I'm right there with you! I feel like weekends are really only one day now. Saturday. Sunday is spent getting everything ready for the work week.
My ILs think I'm trying to keep him from them. I'm not! I just only see him 2-3 hours a day during the week and want to spend time with him on the weekend. I never in my life thought wanting to be with my son would be an issue. He was just over there on Tuesday!
LO had the stinkiest poop-splosion when I woke her up this morning. MIL has "reorganized" (read: lost) all of the sleepers so she is currently in a onesie and guys her feet are SO COLD!
kaylajade sorry the boys are sick again! hope they get better soon and you guys can stay healthy for a little while. (but probably not, because babies and toddlers are germ factories/magnets.)
aurora1181 sorry about the coughs - hope it's just a cough and it passes soon.
apk4 I am still freaking out for you about your DC story. I even read it to DH and he was like, WHUT? NO. (And he is pretty, um, nonchalant about that kind of stuff generally.)
Re leap 4: the actually stormy part doesn't last the whole 40 days according to the app the first part can happen around week 14 and second part around week 19. DD seems to be fine sometimes she wants to be held a little more but that's it.
Hope everyone starts to feel better soon. My cough is almost gone so I'm beyond excited. Like, I only woke myself up once last night from coughing.
I've got laundry going already and grocery shopping on the agenda. But first I must get some pancakes or eggs or something good for breakfast. In reality it'll probably be leftover Chinese food.
mrscjmb That actually makes me feel better. I keep going back and forth between creeped out and thinking I'm overreacting.
I had some bad things happen to me at daycare as a kid, so I might be overly sensitive about this. Either way, I don't think I can be too cautious when it comes to DS.

This makes a whole bunch of sense, that's how DD's went. Mixed with 4 month regression ... so bad all around.
How do I stop clicking the likes!!!! This app is driving me mad!!! GDF were getting snow too. Dd is fighting a nap and I'm headed to store. I might get lost and decide on a pedicure while out too ;-)
DD woke up with a nasty, wet cough and congestion. Poor thing.
A new assistant at daycare is all about DS. When I picked him up Friday she waited for me outside. She asked if I needed help to my car and I said no. Then she asked if I ever needed to get away on the weekends and needed someone to watch him and I said no, because ILs. Then she grabbed my arm and slipped a note in my hand with her name and number. She said she needed me to call her that night because she really needed to talk to me about something. She doesn't even know my name or anything.

Sorry to all you ladies with sick babies! I hope they all feel better quickly!
I spent the night with LO at my parents because DH went to NYC to see two friends he hasn't seen since our wedding and spent the night at his parents. I was going to ask for bacon and eggs, but now I want ALL THE PANCAKES!!
Last night I forgot my pump while out with DH, but I didn't think it mattered because I expected us to be at the party fr only 2 hours. Around hour 3, my breasts were ripping at the seams, so I went to the bathroom to express. Except it was a multistall restroom, so I ended up squatting near the toilet and hand expressing my milk into the toilet bowl. I did not plan that evening very well.
Since we got home so late, Im going to take my sister out for Starbucks as a thank you, and so we can have some adult time. I'm pretty stoked.
