Cadence has taken an interest in toilet paper. She likes to unroll it and then tear it in tiny confetti-like pieces. I keep finding pieces all over the house.

Bradley, too. I normally keep the door to his bathroom locked, but he got in there the other day and unrolled pretty much the entire roll. It felt so wasteful! I kind of folded it back up and am using it myself. I have a Depression-era mentality about few things, but apparently TP is one of them.
A also makes confetti out of TP. He's started tearing his wipes also but thankfully those are more difficult to rip up so he doesn't usually do more than get it in half.
mishkaroni Was that the fight you had last night? Good Lord. I can barely keep the place picked up and take care of A when Pete is here to help me because he wants to be held constantly. If he were home with me all day this place would probably be in even more chaos. K is in for a rude awakening.

lfigge that's awesome for your DH! I'm sure he will do great!
JoeLies maybe I missed it, but when are you going to hear more about tempe? I think moving to az would be a great idea!
klongoria11 how are you doing lady? Is DH acting right?
kamakaziartist How does anyone look pretty at a doctors office? I hate you! (not really!)
Ry finally let me take a peek into his mouth and he definitely has two incisors pushing through. He's been a snotty, cranky, clingy mess and not sleeping at all, so this kind of explains it. I know it's nothing compared to the storm most of you are dealing with, but the grey skys and sprinkling of rain here are making me feel very lazy. I just want to stay inside and be cozy.
Tomorrow I get to go visit my friend and her 1 week old baby. I love it, although it gives me big time baby fever!
Dh just saw a newborn size diaper that E pulled out of the closet and said "I didn't think his bum was ever that small. " lol! Our chunk was in them for 6weeks!
I found the hat A wore in the hospital right when he was born. His head has always been around the 97th percentile, but it looked so small!!
NB diapers and clothes we never used, he went straight into 3 months.
Has anyone else's kid started talking a ton more since the last ww?
Last week E started talking. I have no idea what his first word was. He called an onion a ball and it is freaking adorable, I just don't want him bouncing it.
Re: Talking babies- yes, mine is a total chatterbox, non stop. 95% of it is nonsense babble, BUT he is clearly saying things with inflections- like some things are clearly questions, statements, and commands.
OMG....a coworker over heard me talking about The Dump in December and she joined this week. Told me about her visit to the Parenting page thinking I would be there and told me that there was a poster recommending that she got great advice from a site and it linked her to the PB. It was interesting trying to tell her what happened.
LOL I wouldn't really begin to know how to explain it to someone who wasn't around. Pete got it, but he was used to my daily Bump news.
Sunny41 I've had to stop A from throwing meatballs, tomatoes, and a head of garlic because he thought they were all balls. It's weird having to explain how yes, it looks like a ball but it isn't and we don't throw it.

Yup. The very one. He's not going to make it. I'm giddy at the thought of him failing. Lol.
Careful mishkaroni, don't get too giddy. When C was home with DH last week he took a 3hr nap and a 1hr later in the day. DH wasn't trying to prove anything so the place was still a dump when I came home, but he could have made it look stellar if he wanted.
It would be my luck that Ava would be a perfect angel, but this mofo still won't clean. Unless he's in a petty mood. Since it's his day off, he feels he deserves to do nothing.

xolastunicornxo Ahhh, well, even though I told him I needed more help from him as far as taking care of Cadence and keeping the house clean he still didn't get home until 5 minutes before Cadence went to bed last night and I had already fed her, bathed her and cleaned the bathroom and living room. I reminded him that I had asked for more help and he said he can't control traffic. Considering it was an hour later than he normally gets home, I'm pretty sure he stalled at work so he wouldn't have to help. He does that quite a bit and then blames traffic.

We were the opposite...everyone told me my baby would be huge and go straight into 3 month sizes, so we didn't have any newborn-sized things (or diapers). Lo and behold, B came out weighing 8 lbs (downright delicate compared to what we were expecting!) so we had to buy a bunch of stuff to get thru those first few weeks (I think he was in 0-3/size 1 diapers by 3 or so weeks old).
It's funny to think back on things like that. It seems like such a long time ago.

That's not okay... Like at all. Fern and I have a deep clean day on Sundays and I keep the house neat through out the week. But he still helps unloading the dishwasher/trash and so on. How are you not ripping his balls off? I would have so much resentment/anger if Fern felt that just because he had a day off means HE could be lazy.. NO mesh that's not okay. You guys are a team.

klongoria11 I have some employee-induced rage that I can't take out on them. Give your H my number so I can take it out on him and explain how good he has it!

Our big fights always start because of this. Trust me, there's anger and resentment. Then he'll do this amazing clean.. but it's so infrequent.
