Which carries are being done with wraps? I have a size 6 and have been very boring sticking to the same cross front carry since she was born. What are some other options? Bonus for pics
I haven't tried any carries yet other than FWCC but I want to too! Some other front base size carries are pocket wrap cross carry, front double hammock, and reinforced kangaroo.

I've tried poppins tummy to tummy carry and a rebozo with a slip knot but he hates the rebozo while I try to tighten it. I'm not skilled with the poppins but it is quicker than the fwcc. I used these turorials. youtu.be/d-FuswQtXW8 And youtu.be/eE9TSaGrPHc This is the tummy to tummy poppins. He needs to be higher and he popped his seat a little but it was m y first try. Also, they may be super large (on mobile) so sorry. Sorry about the last photo in the dirty mirror.
I just tried the poppins tummy to tunmy carry tonight for the first time. We have been dealing with her hating every position/carrier I put her in and I figured out it was her limited view. I put her in the kangaroo carry in the ring sling and she loves it but it isn't comfortable for me. I tried the poppins tonight and she seemed to really like how much she could see! And I liked that I had more support. Here is a bad pic of it. I still have to work on tightening it right.
Went to a bwi of atlanta today. Worked on a Robbins carry. I think I like it better than the poppins. I have a 5 and a 7.
Can we hang out and work on different wraps? M likes the Tula and ring sling, since days for the ring sling, but I haven't had much luck with a wrap. I really want to use my wraps. I think I might be more successful with someone to help.

Definitely! I'm still learning myself but it's awesome today have another person check your rails, soothe your child, and let you know if it looks good /i.e. like the experts .
Went to a BWI meeting today, now I want a tula, a ring sling, and a wrap. Give me all the baby wearing things now. Think I'm ditching my ktan, L loved the ring sling, fell asleep instantly.
Went to a bwi meeting today too. I tried a coolest hip carry but moved it to where she was off center instead of on the hip. It was super hard to figure out and neither if us liked it very much. I have gotten better at the poppins tummy to tummy and we both seem to like it a lot so I think we will stick to that for now. I wanted to try a lenny lamb ssc but they were all checked out so I tried an ergo and once again neither of us liked it. We left this meeting without renting anything. Maybe next month we will get to check out a lenny lamb or even a wrap since all I have are diy ones.
Was forced to nurse in the ktan today. Was wearing the wrong shirt and having small boobs makes it pretty challenging. I am glad we "graduated" to legs out. Legs tucked in felt way less secure to me.
Haha bad choice of words.I forced me. I was out at the dog park with A, DH, the inlaws and the pup. The pup got really protective and was guarding me from everything and the baby was screaming. I figured it was easier than trying to get her out of the ktan but ended up being hard. We made it work though.
Ah ok. I've never used a ktan but I nurse in my carrier all the time. It gets easier with practice

I need to figure this out. Is there a trick??
I use a tula. I loosen the straps, so his head is in line with my boob and then slide baby to whichever side he's eating from. I also have to hold the boob up for him cuz they're large. Nobody can tell typically.

Playing with different wraps tonight. Poppins and the front reinforced torso rebozo with Poppins finished. So snuggly. I really want to try a back carry but I'm terrified.
I ordered my first professional wrap last night! I am super excited to get it in! I think it will be about 2ish weeks. Here is what I ordered! www.natibaby.eu/oxytocin-assans.html

I keep forgetting to try the Poppins.
I'm pretty proficient with a back wrap cross carry and DD1, as I started that with her at six months and pretty much never wore her any other way. I figure after the new year, DD2 will be ready for a Superman toss!

Poppins is pretty! I prefer wraps that cross over both of my shoulders though. There are a few back carries you can do with a newborn, so I might try one tonight with DH helping. Maybe use the Santa toss? I dunno.

Well your wrap job looks beautiful with the Poppins and Poppins-finish. I like one shouldered things well enough for now.
If I weren't afraid of the Santa toss, and if I thought MH would help without flipping out, I'd try. I wanted to go to the monthly meet up to get help with it last week, but missed it and can't go until after the new year now. But moot point, as after the new year she'll be big enough to toss a la Superman. Ah, well.

ampaintsskinandbones the only one I have is that bluish gray striped wrap, but I plan on selling it soon. It was intended to be a starter wrap to see if I even liked wrapping, so now that I've found I love it, I want to get a nicer wrap that's more suited to my taste. I really want a cashmere size 6 for winter too but they're so expensive. Yay new obsession! Poor H haha.
y'all are no help. -_- haha. They're both oscha wovens, half cotton half hemp. I love the red one bc it's all autumn-y, and i love the name too -tsurusora. Sora is E's middle name, it means sky in Japanese. It feels like it's meant to be! But my favorite colors are blue and gold. And I love Indian style prints.
