My brother and his family are staying the night. They're the ones with the screamy 1.5 year old. I swear, if she wakes my sleeping baby I will throw something and then make SIL put him back to sleep.
Both my parents are in town so we've been go go go for a few days.
LO has been so congested. I have been getting out so much snot with the nose frida. Any natural remedies y'all can suggest? Should I go buy a baby vapor rub?

Oh yeah, it is our 6 year anniversary today. We decided we weren't going to do anything this year since we are buying a house. We went to a festival with the kids and Inlaws and then out to dinner. Such a different life with kids and responsibilities!

Use a humidifier in the room baby sleeps in..
We were using it for a few weeks but it wasn't really helping. I'll start it back up just in case though.

skinandbones re: allergies--our little one is super sniffly. Saline spray followed by using the nose frida has been a godsend. Pediatrician says lots of sneezing is normal (she's 2 weeks).
I tried tres Leche cake today. That was a bad idea. It is so good. Like where has this been all my life I'm going to end up weighing 300lbs good. Someone take it away from me.

***trigger warning*** So my mom's social security friend has a relative who had a Preemie. The baby was very early and very sick (organ development issues) and only made it 6 months.
***end trigger warning*** So my mom's social security friend came up to me like 5 different times and told me what a good job we are doing with keeping Amelia isolated and how is so hard but so worth it and to ignore anyone who gives us shit about it. I hope she rubs off on my mom.

My kid is broken and will not freaking burp. He's been so miserable with gas issues all afternoon. So after an hour of sleep he wakes up hungry. 2 oz of formula in and no burp for over an hour no matter what I try. I finally just let him scream which woke H up so I just sat on the couch trying not to break down. H fed him some more and he just now burped. I'm always scared to feed him more because I've been puked on 5 times already.
I almost got dressed and went out for new bottles in the middle of the night. Desperate times.

So we got the dog home today and I noticed Amelia's eyes are suddenly puffy and red. Can this be allergies? Should we have my in laws take the dog back tomorrow? She's got a pediatrician appointment this Saturday, but DH and I are both off tomorrow, if we need to take the dog back. Opinions/experience wanted.
So I didn't know that my boobs were leaking because I've been sweating so much but today I woke up less sweaty and I was just lying in a huge circle of breastmilk. I am irrationally angry because Walt is feeding every 30 minutes and now I have less precious milk.

Oh no! We have 2 dogs and that was one of my biggest fears - that LO would be allergic. I'd probably wait until your doctor appointment and ask him/her. Has the dog been in contact with the baby? If not, I'd be surprised that she reacted that fast from it just being in the air - but I'm sure it's possible for people with very sensitive allergies.

I had to get off all of the Tula bst FB groups because of drama/complaining about flipping/etc. I'm trying to find a cute hood and suck pads for my Star Tula, there are a million Etsy shops to weed through, and I don't have to sit through whining
