Anyone want to play?
My bad news is that the buyer we had a decent offer drom on our condo retracted the offer.
The good news is that we have the best neighbors. The woman across the street just snow blowed most of our driveway with her tractor. She's getting the last if the Challah I baked this weekend. And we are in the middle of this big eastern storm.

This is my FW - DH will get home very late tonight and tomorrow, I will get home late on Thurs, he will get home late on Fri. And by late, in each case I mean after 11pm when we have to get up between 5-6am. So... either we're going to have to lose a lot of sleep this cycle or our chances are looking pretty dismal yet again.
The good news is that I heard today from my boss that it looks like there's a very good chance that my position will be made permanent!

Bad news: we have been looking for a house for a while (on and off since I was preg with DD, just over 2 years ago) and several offers have been rejected. This process has not been great and I am getting frustrated.
Good news: we are in good health, have good jobs, live in a pleasant neighborhood, and I am staying positive that we will find something ... someday.

Bad news: I have bronchitis. It's the worst. Especially while pregnant and having a toddler with it as well who is protesting naptime because he wants to feed the dogs..... For the 20th time today.
Good news: I started my antibiotics today and DH is going away this weekend so I can eat crap food and make a mess of the house.
Bad News: Our car doesn't get heat. Again. It had the same issue last winter and turned out to be a pretty major problem, so we're hoping it's something easy and cheap this time. But we have crappy luck with cars, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
Good News: We found out that we will be refunded almost $800 of licensing-related fees from DH's job that we didn't think we'd be getting back. So that's pretty nice.

Good news: I found out that one of my fellowship applications is in the final round of consideration.
Bad news: Apparently one of the reviewers of said application panned it. She also panned all of the other applications from my division, though. It seems that she is an equal opportunity bitch.
LOL...yeah, nothing bad for you! ;-) The stories will be coming for sure. I can give you an update to tide you over.
So MIL was supposed to actually be out here ages ago, except the whole neck & CO poisoning issues (and no babies to care for until now). So as far as I know, she is leaving Montana today, but now SFIL is coming with because he doesn't want her to drive alone. But now that he is coming, they are going to swing through Central California for a few days to visit friends, then she and maybe he are coming up here next Monday for who knows how long. And my SIL absolutely refuses to let SFIL in her house for a whole myraid of (perfectly valid) reasons, which means if he does come here, guess whose house he'll probably be at.
Bad news: Ive been in early labour since 3 am. Contractions will get to 10 mins apart then back off again. The MW did a check today and said I was still partially closed. Wtf? I've been lossing my mucus plugs and had some bloody show. My good news Would be that I get to mert my Lo soon, but at this rate who knows when that will be!

Thinking of you, mama! Keep us updated! When is your official due date? I lurk on Feb15 occasionally and see you posting. I'm 39 weeks tomorrow.

Due date is tomorrow! My date got changed but I didn't change boards.
Let me say - this prelabour or early labour is utter bullshit. This is new to me and I could definitely go without it.
Contractions seem to be getting a bit stronger, lasting longer and are staying 10 min apart or a little less. But now I would like to get some sleep...lol
Yeah my labour with DD was pretty clear cut which is why I expected the same thing here. No chance of that.
Good news: my $7 pants from Ross made my hubby jump me.
Bad news: After waking the kids up 3 hours early, DS missing his nap and not eating more than snacks, and flying all day, customs flagged us for a bag search. Bunch of jerks.
summer when my grandmother passed away and they had to fly her body back to her home state, I suggested we drive down there and make a family road/camping trip out of it and then promptly busted up laughing complete with tears streaming down my face. My mum was very confused.

Bad news: DH is thinking about going back to his old job. He got in contact with his ex boss yesterday. I guess this isn't necessarily bad, just makes me nervous. I'm sad this new gig didn't work out for DH. They promised him a lot of things that they didn't come through on.
Good news: We're ordering sriracha pizza for lunch and I'm sending out our tax packet today. Come on refund :::fingers crossed:::

LOL...your poor mom! Did you explain it to her?
I did. She thought it was equally hilarious and horrifying
