@led and anyone else in the waiting game, I'm sorry! We don't have an online lab registry in Canada open to public patients. We do however have one for care provider that show labs and ultrasounds medications etc, but you can only use it for work purposes for the patient in your immediate care. I have access to it. What do you think I was doing at 3am while spotting at work know my betas were sitting there? Obviously look and comparing previous pregnancy's betas. I ended up with a twin loss but also a rather strict disciplinary meeting with my manager, HR and union and I could've got time off without pay (for looking at my own stuff, I know) but they let me off with a verbal warning. Gotta love crying while you share your loss in front of 5 people.
Is it too early to shop for cribs? Bc DS is not going to get out of his crib before this one is born.
Ugh, I don't want to buy a second crib. I am thinking that if this new one stays in our room in the P&P for six months, then maybe Gremlin will be ready for a toddler bed? But then I'd be transitioning him to a toddler bed at the same time I'm transitioning #2 to the nursery... oh, and we're planning on having them share a room. I don't know what to do hahaha!

Lol. I came on here to say that I just took my first "before" bump picture. I didn't do it with my last pregnancy but thought it'd be fun. I took the picture at work in front of a full length mirror.

That's my plan too! No room for a 2nd crib anyway. These kids are LakerMama66g until we buy a bigger house.

I'm all about decreasing transitions. We started DS in his crib in his nursery the night we came from the hospital. BEST decision ever. We slept in HIS room for about 9-10 weeks and then we just went back to our room. His room used to be the guest room, so we just left the queen bed in there until we moved out!
So I'm going to do the same for this kid....but his crib will be in our room since we only have a two-bed condo.
I don't know what the "latest" age is for transitioning a kid out, but since our current crib converts into a toddler bed, it's not like we wouldn't need to buy SOMETHING.
Bah, I too want a bigger condo...not so much in sq ft, but in number of bedrooms.

babycaps, you have huge rooms if you can fit a queen bed AND a crib (of any type) in the same room!
We spent too much money on DD (her bedroom set costs more than ours did) and bought her a convertible crib and matching dresser, so now we'll have to buy LO2 it's own crib. I'm debating between going to same route, or just getting a cheaper, non convertible one.

I had my ultrasound today to confirm that I don't have an ectopic pregnancy- baby measured 7w1d with a heart rate of 156. I'm 3 days before my loss milestone so I'm still anxious but relieved. The tech said my uterus is super tilted- to the right. Probably the reason I'm feeling more pain on one side. I made the next two appointments- hope the weeks go fast. When you're pregnant the weeks go soo slow.

Congrats that is great news! Except for the tilted uterus...but that's no biggie, is it???

Nope. It kind of just is. She also said it was always like that and it can cause back labor. Which now tells me why I had back labor with my son! I told my mom and she said "oh yeah I have a tilted uterus too!"
kendy20 - have you tried eating bland carbs as soon as you wake and every two hours or so? It's been really helping me.
No but I might try it. It's been a rough week with DD waking up 2-4 times and wanting to nurse like crazy cause she's sick. So I think that's attributing to the all day stuff too. But definitely will try some saltines first thing
My DH would kick the dog out if he knocked out kid down. However my brother got knocked down like that when we were little and I remember laughing so hard!
kateisoptimistic, that is ridiculous. Do you HAVE to see this doctor/clinic? I would go somewhere else. ACOG, I'm pretty sure, recommends that you be seen for the first time at 6-8 weeks (8 is typical).
I don't have to, but I really like this doctor she helped me through some tough times with my loss . I'm trying to push my way in earlier

As far as bump pics, I saw some cute stickers the other day like those you use to show how many months old your baby is, but these were weeks pregnant. I might get those, they were at babies r us

I wonder how common this is. I had the worst back labor with DD. You know it's bad when the delivering doctor comes by the next day and tells you that 95% of labors go more smoothly than yours did, and apologizes for basically being a cunt.
@led, Safeway delivers here, and they're middle of the road. I've never used it because I can't give up that much control, but my neighbors and old boss both say it's the best.

Yeah, Safeway was who I was thinking of when I was talking about expensive grocery stores. lol I'm cheap. I like my Grocery Outlet and WinCo prices.

I'm a snob. I actually dislike Safeway and shop somewhere a little less convenient in the same price threshold because they have stickers for DD and I like their bacon. I've got priorities.
