I'm here, but not for long. I have a CME presentation at 6:45 at the hospital. I just woke up a few minutes ago.

Supposedly it is "healthier/more natural" to poop in a squatting position. IDK!

Yay for three day weekends! This week has gone on forever. We have a wedding this weekend, too...I'm mostly excited to stay in hotel for two nights. I love hotels!

Haha, you...U.S. three-day weekend, Columbus Day...or Indigenous Peoples Day...
Though...I did have a relative get married on Thanksgiving weekend. It was a super small wedding with just close friends and some family, so *almost* made sense.

I have a friend who works (in the US) for a Canadian company that refuses to give them Columbus Day off, the whole city is closed but she has to come in...dumb.

Yay Friday! This week I inadvertently made " girl guide taps" ds's lullaby. He now asks for the tap song before he falls asleep. Not sure what DH is going to think of that when he gets home and has to learn the words.

My cousin was planning her wedding for this weekend and it was going to be a thanksgiving feast for the dinner. That sort of convinced me that it was ok and kinda of cute. The wedding was called off during the planning stages so never happened. But yes, generally I do find it annoying when people plan weddings on long weekends.

I had to go to a wedding US Thanksgiving weekend last year. H was in the wedding. Their rehearsal was Friday aka Black Friday but spouses weren't invited. I hardly saw him all weekend.

Working in healthcare we don't get Monday off. Jealous though. The least they could do would be to pay holiday pay.
