queenb have you tried sitting them up? I can get a good burp out of W if I just sit him up and at night I have him leaned into me so it seems like a cuddle. Works almost every time and has cut way down on MOTN spit ups
Ugh. R's two month shots were Monday and I thought she was just fine. Slept fine Monday night. Woke up Tuesday with a fever and slept all day on and off. At 3pm, fever totally gone and my smiley baby was back.
Went to bed at normal 8:30pm and then the shit hit the fan. Was up basically all night, every hour or two. Then up at six for the day. Someone please tell me that I haven't broken my baby and that she'll go back to normal soon??
She's smiling and happy and not feverish. And apparently not tired. At all.

Hugs to you too amberlie. There is only so much that is possible- you are not a magician. Prioritize and do what you can. That's all we can do. Congrats on your engagement.

A was extra fussy and was up til after 1. I guess she is a secret Royals fan. Now she is up again. Yay regression.
She is a better fan than me! I fell asleep in the 8th inning. Hope you get some better sleep tonight.
Haha me too! Since I was up I figured I'd watch the game updates on my phone. As soon as the Royals won she went to sleep for a few hours. My family will be so proud. I'm not a baseball fan but being from KC makes it exciting!

I didn't start watching until the wild card game last year, and I'm certainly not that in to baseball. But yes, being a KC girl definitely makes it fun! I've learned a lot about baseball this year.
Tonight has been awful. Took H and hour if hysterics to put him down. Then he wakes up 2 hours later to fuss on the boob and pop of after every suck. Spits up all over me and his onsie. And then took 30 minutes to put down and his freaking eyes popped open the moment I put him down. Baby you were finally getting in a routine I need my 4 hours.

GAH. DH just called from the airport, his flight was delayed and they just landed. The bad news? He can't find his car keys. He said he remembers tossing them in his bag, but just searched and can't find them anywhere. He's going to search again (I told him he should go through ALL his pockets, etc.), but if he can't get them im going to have to load the kids up and run the spare set to him. At the airport. 45 minutes away.
He better find those f*cking keys.
Update: heading to the airport. He owes me big time.
I drive myself crazy checking on E at night. She'll only fall asleep next to me but sleeps much longer stretches in her swing bc she's swaddled and startles a lot without it. About 3 times a night, I wake up in a panic that something has happened to her until I look at her. Tonight I moved her legs to make her move a bit and she didn't really move so I ended up picking her up. She moved of course but not a lot since she's probably in a deeper part of her sleep cycle. I'd feel better if she was in bed with me but can't stay comfortable with her head on my arm. I love having my tiny baby but I'll feel much less anxiety when we're out of the high SIDS risk time. I ended up taking a unisom 2 nights ago since she sleeps 10 hours pretty consistently and I can't fall or stay asleep. I slept better than I have in months but woke up with a headache. Now it's 3a and who knows how long it will take for me to fall asleep again
Another bad night. So tired. She'll only sleep when she falls asleep nursing. Wakes up and screams the minute she is put in her PNP. I've gotten 1.5 hrs of sleep with some dozing during nursing. Please sleep. Please.
If C sleeps on or with me it's 6+ hours...if I use the pack and play he's up every 2 hours. I can't win!
This makes it so hard not to bed share! I'm convinced people should just be taught how to do it safely rather than banning it all together. Bedsharing is how I get those extra hours of sleep and W loves it.
amberlie hugs. I hope you can get back to sleep soon.
I woke up at 1am with a freaking Charlie horse. Then T was up at 3:30 to eat. She fell back asleep but I couldn't stop coughing so she woke up. Finally got her back to sleep at 5am, and she woke up within 2 minutes of being set down. I'm gonna cry. I'm so over this cold and I just need sleep.
DH heard me coughing/struggling. He got out of bed and I thought maybe he'd offer to take her for me, but he brought me a cough drop instead. I guess he was trying to help?
I am so livid right now. W spit up on me so I went into the master to grab a new shirt. With my flashlight I see that the dog (as she will now be referred as) ate the entire bag of treats above her kennel and then she pulled my purse that was buried in a bin of clothes I just brought up, opened the zippers, ate my gum and generally just threw the contents all over. I could kill her right now. She is left out if her kennel at night every night and had never done this. Wtaf has gotten in to her.

This makes me so scared to transition from the rnp to the crib. Do not want to go back to every 2 hours!
Me too. I found this blog with a few ideas: eatloveprocreate.blogspot.com/2014/11/mission-to-sleep-to-crib-from-rock-n.html?m=1 I used the towel under the sheet and I bought an incline wedge instead of propping the whole crib up on books (that scares me). He currently naps in his crib right now just to get used to being there and is in the stage of sleeping in his RnP in his room. I've gotten 2 nights of 6 hour stretches when he didn't go but 3.5 when he was next to my bed. I'm going back to work nov. 16 so I hope to have him in his crib by then. The thing we are struggling with is not going down to sleep until midnight or after!

Wow. That sucks, I'm sorry. It's worse when it's the MOTN and you just want to nurse and go back to sleep. Did she act out at all when you brought W home? Maybe (hopefully) it's just a one time thing. Our dog has been fine but DH's damn cat has been acting out since we moved...8 months ago.

Yeah I'm hoping she just had a "I'll show you" moment. She hasn't acted out a whole bunch but I've been waiting for it because she was our baby before W. I just hate when she does stuff like this because I don't even think she gets why I'm mad. And I was soooo mad.
