Watching Bad Milo while waiting for Hubster to get home. Trying to get in the habit of putting Liam down for bed by himself, so he gets used to it and doesn't freak out (before, he would fall asleep in his swing in the living room with us). He's been snoozing away upstairs for 4 hours now. Woo!
Not going to be a good night. A won't stop fussing and nursing. Falls asleep nursing, put her in her PNP, she screams...have tried twice. Back to nursing again.

DSHM13 we had that several nights in a row too. Tonight there was none, so maybe a light at the end of the tunnel. Hugs! C was asleep early for once but I wasn't. H and I did have a good talk though so that's a plus
Tiny human, I work later today so wanting to eat every two hours is not my idea of a good night. Please give me a long stretch after this boob so I am at least somewhat rested for work.

Jackson has been awake since 8pm and just now finally feel asleep. I don't know what was going on, but he was screaming like he was in pain every five minutes. I don't know why. He doesn't have a fever, his clothes don't have tags, his diaper was clean, he was fed but not over full, I just don't know. He usually sleeps long stretches at night so I hope whatever is going on doesn't affect his sleeping.
Jake has decided that he is above sleep. After sleeping until 4 or 5 am for weeks, last night he was up every 2 hours. Then today he only took 2 one hour naps. He's still awake using my boob as a pacifier as we speak. I'm sitting here in the dark as wife sleeps soundly. I'm so tired.
DSHM13 I think the most frustrating part of that is the repeated put downs because you think you're almost done. I'm sorry you're dealing with that. Hope A calms down soon.
Tried to give W a pacifier at night. It's the same one he gets in the car if he freaks out but he won't take it. Spits it out after 1 suck and even if I hold it in there for a couple of sucks with my pinky (it's a soothie) I can feel him actively trying to push it out. I'm going to keep trying to give it though because H needs some sleep and I know he wakes up everytime I get up. I could use some sleep too but my body seems to be adjusting better than his. He can't be dragging at his job right now. Eta:so many spelling errors
packmomma, that stinks idk what we would do on car rides without the paci L hated the soothie shaped ones though always spit them out. Makes me sad because those Wubba nub ones with the animal attached are so cute. We've had success with Avent.

Seriously kid...you fuss and squirm...then fart and shit and THEN fall peacefully asleep?! Glad I lathered up your sensitive butt with a barrier...Cuz I'm not waking you up to change that.
Allison was trying to nurse a little bit ago and was getting so pissed off, I don't think she was getting anything, so I pumped. 3 oz total. She hadn't nursed for a few hours, I should have been able to pump at twice that. I got her to go to sleep, but she'll be up soon because I know she's hungry.

Why is this kid STILL on my boob?!? He won't take a paci.. EVER. Only wants the boob. I need a new night time strategy because he is gonna drive me to drink. Every hour it seems. Put him to sleep nursing, put him in crib..screams..and repeats.
Looks like today will be my first day at work operating on very little sleep. I've had 3.5 hours so far, FX M goes back to sleep quickly, but he normally takes a while. My alarm is set to go off in just under two hours.
My baby was sleeping in longer chunks until tonight's 3am wake up to eat. I celebrated her sleeping 7 hours in a row prematurely. Rookie move on my part.
I have an idea. Take the second boob when offered. Do not turn it down and then wake me up 30 minutes later because you regret your choice. Quit being a punk.

That's why this is so frustrating. He's taken the soothie before. In the car when he's freaking out he'll take it. I'll look into the avent ones tomorrow. Take the damn paci child. Momma needs some sleep.

W woke me up screaming, patting didn't help, wouldn't take the paci, ruching wasn't even doing the job. Put him to boob and he falls asleep within 3 minutes . ..take boob out of mouth he resumes screaming. I wanted to do a quick workout at 6 (20 minutss from now) but if this kid falls asleep on me ,without my boob in his moth, I'm not moving.

I love that A gives us longer stretches at night, but I wish she would either sleep until like 6:30 or wake up around 2 if she's going to wake up early. 4am feeding ends around 5, and then we're up in about an hour and a half for work.
It's almost not worth bothering to sleep again. Almost.
M went back to sleep in an hour. I put him back in the crib and he's awake. Take him back in the living room and sleep. I slept about 45 minutes on the couch. When H woke up I stole about another 30 minutes in bed, I'll just get a quick shower this morning.

I am also a human pacifier. Poor kid is quitting cold turkey when I go back to work at the end of the month.
Thea has pretty much pushed for an 8pm bed time. If she is awake after that she is just pissed. That's cool. My other two go to bed between 7:30-8. I'll take it. She's started sleeping 6-7 hours for her first stretch. Yay! That's awesome. But for like five days straight she won't go back to sleep for 1.5-2hrs after she eats. Why?!?!
I can't decide if I should try a dream feed, or just resolve to going to bed when she does and plan on being up for the day at 3:30am sometimes.
