Welp, turns out pitocin gives me hives and they discontinued it. I was on the lowest dose too. The nurses are going to see how I do without and consult with my OB in the morning.
Eek!! I'm so sorry pitocin was a beotch to you. I'm thinking about you and hoping griffin picks things up and gets here asap! Can't wait for another update!
Ugh, that sucks! Are you staying at the hospital overnight?
Yup, still here. I feel like quoting David from the dentist: "is this gonna be forever?" except I don't have any fun pain meds and my back is killing me because of this darn bed. No contractions without pitocin so I'm basically just sitting here getting fluids for 12 hours. The on-call OB wasn't comfortable making the decision as to what to do next so I'm waiting on my OB to make morning rounds.

Doc came in. No progression at all. Broke my water hoping that'll Kickstart something. Will try pitocin again. If that doesn't work, then c-section. Scared.

Still no reliable contractions after restarting the pitocin. Turns out this pregnancy is making my skin break out in little welts with any contact - it wasn't because of the pitocin specifically. I'm drugged up on benadryl to try and keep that under control. Doc broke my water around 6am. Was dilated to a 6 at 9am. If things don't progress it'll become a c-section. Really was not anticipating this...
Griffin is doing well though. Just need to get him here.
