Another UO - I am so over BFing/pumping this week. I want to go into my closet and choose an outfit based on something other than "does this give me easy access to my boobs?"
I don't even think about it anymore. It's like an added bonus when I'm wearing something breastfeeding friendly. Half the time I'm pulling my dress up to my chin to pump.
@bazi45 - that's the damn truth. Spring is coming and I'm so sad that I won't really be able to wear dresses this year.
messica I know! I tried pumping in a dress once and it was an utter failure. I ended up getting makeup and breastmilk on my dress. I pump in my office with a screen in front of my glass wall. I have privacy but I can't really strip down to my underwear. I might try again with a back zip. That or I buy a new wardrobe this spring - I live in dresses from April-September.

My UO opinion: photos of babies and dogs/cats make me nervous to the point that it outweighs the cuteness
(I was a former dog owner and my dog liked his boundaries, so I don't have many photos of dog+kids together)
eta: I completely understand that all dogs are different, and I don't know anybody else's dog, this is just what I was comfortable with, and I get squeamish when I see people sitting their kids on dogs on fb, etc)

I totally thought this was in reference to the furbaby and baby thread.

I think it really depends on the animal. I have two dogs with two very different personalities and while I would never leave LO alone with my dogs I am quite comfortable with them being around while we play on the floor. My lab just wants to lick him and DS will "pet" him with my assistance.
My other dog is a blue heeler/ collie cross and he his the most timid, scaredy cat of a dog. I don't let DS pet him as the dog is timid of DS. The last month or so the dog has started coming to sniff and steal the occasional lick. I think knowing your dogs personalities and what they are comfortable with goes along way.
That being I wouldn't leave DS unattended with them. My lab may try and "snuggle" him and Squish the poor kid.
On tho technology train... I've called DH out on using his cell phone while eating out and how it suggests that my company is boring and he gets all snappy "what do you wanna talk about then"...and I just sit there because I don't have anything to talk about and he goes back to his phone. Ugh, men.
BITCHES THIS IS THE UO. If we all agree on everything...it is lame.
Here we go....
I hate the term fur baby...it drives me crazy when someone refers to their pet as their child or suggests that pets = children. Bring it.
I agree, but I also hate it when UOs become some passive aggressive way of commenting towards others, so I guess that's what I was saying....I gave my OU in earnest, not as a way to target anybody

The call out rules on TB made it tricky to actually talk directly about UOs...everything ended up being passive aggressive. Feel free to call me out! I am working on not vague bumping.

Okay, I am going to try for a real unpopular opinion.
I am sick and tired of fundraisers. A man at my works house burnt down. Tragic yes, no one was hurt. He has a good job, he has been mortgage free for 18 years and did not have home insurance. So people are raising money and doing bake sales to help with costs. He has a place to live on his property a small cabin with plumbing, so he is not out hotel costs.
So I guess my UO is if you don't have home insurance that was a choice you made and I can't be bothered to bake something for the bake sale.
Flame away. I realize this may make me sound heartless.

I completely agree. If someone wants to help out of the goodness of their heart, then they will do it. It is so inappropriate to ask, especially if you didn't do the due diligence to protect your assets. I think this speaks to the overall sense that other people are responsible for your problems and sense of entitlement. I'm glad it's in Canada too because then Americans aren't the only dumb ones, but my plan was to move to Canada when I couldn't handle the stupidity anymore, so now I'm bummed!

Hahah. In his defense he wasn't asking people were just doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. Maybe I am just bitter because I get a thousand go fund me requests across my face book everyday.
Also, stupid is worldwide. It's a fucking pandemic.

I saw this twice in a week. One woman let her insurance lapse and was begging for money to rebuild her home which had been in her family for years, and then my BIL posted about some good friends of his in Florida whose house burned down but they didn't have insurance. It was 5 adults living under one roof! I have very little sympathy for people who try to get away with no insurance then are SOL when something bad happens.
TVs. Why do their have to be TVs everywhere?! A sports bar - fine. An nice-ish restaurant WHY? I don't want to dine and watch the news or sports or Jeopardy! If I wanted to do that, I would just do it at home. And can't I get a manicure without having to watch CNN? I don't want to think about the world when I'm getting a hand massage. (OK, I say that like I've had a manicure lately - which isn't the case).
Last time I got a pedicure, a Walking Dead marathon was on the TV. I don't watch that show, but it wasn't very relaxing.

This doesn't bother me, but watching a dog lick someone's mouth makes me barf.
