Here we go....
I hate the term fur baby...it drives me crazy when someone refers to their pet as their child or suggests that pets = children. Bring it.
OH NO YOU DIDN'T...
Of course my dog is my fur baby! I rescued her from "basically" death (by lethal injection), she relies on me and DH for everything, and has all the same needs as LO just not quite as demanding. I would go broke to keep her healthy (at least while she is still young; I can't see putting 10's of thousands of dollars into a 9+ year old dog, but I understand why others would). I bring her treats/toys from any store I go to. I've taught her everything she knows, and she's PERFECT! She's been with me through thick and thin, and she's my best buddy!
I guess my UO is people who have pets and treat them as anything other than "part of the family" (maybe fur baby is a little excessive). Like outside dogs...this drives me CRAZY! Yes I understand dogs WERE wild animals that lived outside, but we domesticated them beyond this (except in very rare cases - farm dogs etc.) If you don't want to take care of your pet properly you shouldn't have one. This goes for exercising them too, I HATE seeing overweight animals; old and pleasantly plump is one thing, but fat because your to busy/lazy to take them for a walk is not cool.
