Ignore if you don't want to hear the humble brag but this plus size girl who worked to lose weight to get pregnant is happy with herself right now.
Went through my work pants that have been packed away from pre-pregnancy and almost all fit. Not great still got a bit to go but if I had to go to work today I would have clothes.
It keeps telling me I don't have access to this board! Frustrating.
Anyway, in the hospital my feet were super swollen. They've since gone down but the tops feel bruised whenever I touch them. I'm asking my doctor at my incision check but was wondering if anyone else had it?
Dh just told me a cleaning lady is coming tomorrow because I keep driving him crazy by cleaning things when I'm supposed to be resting haha! I'm excited but feel kind of awkward sitting around while someone else cleans my house

Just stay in bed and hold the baby. She'll understand.

DS is 5 weeks old today. I never really understood when people would say kids grow up too fast until now. How in the heck is he already 5weeks old?! This mommy has all the feels right now. Time needs to slow the F down.

That's so awesome. I'm concerned that I'll never get back into my regular pants and will have to go buy new pants since my maternity pants are too big.

Haha, I too will be bitchy and brag that I am able to fit into my favorite jeans again. There is still a noticeable pooch, but I think I've somewhat accepted I'll never be the same shape again. There needs to be a shopping spree at some point to replace all the pants that don't fit.

I'm the same way. The smallest pants, I can get in them, it's just not pretty.
I have more squishy middle but hoping to start working to get that gone as soon as I can. But I have also accepted that it may never go completely away.

I'm now below my prepregnancy weight (I'm fat and was only allowed to gain 20 and almost 11 of that was baby, so don't hate), but can't get my jeans around my hips. Change in shape indeed.

My weight loss has stalled out. I really need to stop with the coke.

I'm the same as you. I'm like 3 lbs from pre-preg weight but that weight is 240 so... Don't be too jealous people.

I'm pretty sure i'm going to end up doing that. I have about 25 pounds to go, and pretty much stopped losing right now. Maybe once I"m cleared to excersize/it warms up and I can take daily walks with LO things will start happening, but I don't think I"ll get there in less then 2 months before I start work again

After a terrible night of sleep, I have only left the bedroom today to fix some lunch. I laid LO down long enough to heat up some soup and then I had to spend 20mins getting him calmed back down. This clingy phase has to have an end. It can't last forever, right?

Ugh, mine was clingy last night/all day too. Where did my baby who could sleep anywhere go? The only place he would sleep now is mine or DH's chest.

It's a terrible thing to say, but since I'm already on the bitchy train today: It's somewhat of a relief to hear I'm not the only one whose weight loss is stalling out. I actually gained back a couple pounds I've previously lost!
I'm waiting for 2 more weeks then I'll start working gym time into my schedule. My mum is still helping me during the day, my problem is with not trusting her enough to go to bed during the day.

My weight loss has slowed down too. I miss working out so much but I am only 3 wk ppd and still bleeding so I dont feel comfortable working out until that stops. Ugh dying for a good workout
Jumping on the weight loss convo I was kind of confused yesterday when I saw my OB for my 2 weeks PP appointment and we talked about my weight. I thought it was great I was 9 lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight and she said that with being diabetic and breastfeeding and needing more calories that I wouldn't be losing it quickly....I thought I was doing well but not after that comment!
