DH and I went on our first date night last night. We left DS at home with my MIL and had a great time out to dinner. I even had my first pp drink. It was called "Front Porch Punch" and it was pure heaven. Mixing sweat tea, lemonade, and moonshine is always a good idea. I plan on recreating the drink here at the house as my go to summer cocktail. I love living in the south where moonshine is readily available
Ugh. Sad text to see in the MOTN. A very good friend is filing for divorce. Her H had cheated (had a girlfriend on the side), they separated and were going to counseling and she just found out tonight he slept with the gf again.
That is so sad I'm always so thrilled when infidelity can be overcome in a marriage, but it sounds like he didn't even want to try.

24/40 lbs off but 20 more after pp weight to go. Squishy stomach feels so weird especially trying to sleep on it . I am eating light due to time but a bit crappy. Ate the least healthy freezer meal first so should be getting better... Speaking of I am starving!

Ive been tryingto wait to set LO down tonight after his feedings until he is in his deep sleep-he never seems to be! Going on 25 min plus of holding him and he still keeps squirming
Ugh, I had many nights like that. Last night I got lucky, he was wide the f awake at 3am with his eyes at their biggest I've ever seen. I was tired and needed to pump, decided to swaddle him and place him in his crib. Well, he sucked on the pacifier for a bit and went down for 2 hours. I'm hoping for a repeat today, but we all know I shouldn't be pushing my luck.

Yeah that's how she feels. We're 29, they've been together since she was 15 (except for a few breaks during college). So I can tell she's scared but I'm proud that she's sticking up for herself. They were talking about buying a house and TTC this year, instead now divorce. Ugh I'm so mad at him.
Ugh, I hate these sorts of stories. The guys are scums obviously but I don't get why there are women that would cheapen themselves by being a homewrecker. A guy could be stolen like that means he could just as easily cheat on his gf with another.
My anti kids single sister sure loves to dish out childrearing advice daily. I'm to the point that I had to tell her to stfu. She said when are you going to train LO to be awake during the day and sleep at night? Then saying how her friends babies sleep longer at night and shit. I flipped and told her to withhold her judgement before she does her research. LO is just 1 month old. She then said, (in front of an audience) any reason why PikoPiko is always so angry? I came back with, any reason why you shall be a know-it-all when you haven't even changed a diaper in your life?
Previous retarded comments from her include: 1) why did you buy a crib? No one needs a crib, it's a waste of money. My friends and coworkers all had their kids and said a crib is not needed. (LO has been in his crib every night when I do the night shift.) 2) your baby sleeps too much. (1 week old baby) 3) You should not have your baby in the PNP in the living room, its too bright. (Baby was 2 weeks old) 4) You shouldn't be swaddling your baby, it's bad for him. (First week of life)

Stupid know-shit-all.
I got completely thrown off by the admin interruption tbh.
But I've never understood why childless people feel the need to give advice. I just wish someone would hand them a baby for a week and see how well they do with their advice.
I'm loving the springlike weather. Finally took LO on his first walk on monday. Then did it again when my mom got here. Yesterday was rainy and i was a zombie but goal for today is to do it again.
We went walking on a quiet road that comes into mine across from my house. My mom was pretty floored by the houses. Our house is really charming but we are by far on the low end for the area....the houses on this street are pretty crazy and it dead ends at a former horse farm/estate. Makes for fun walking
I bought the most comfortable pajama pants ever at Target. They are the Gillian OMAlley modal ones. Too bad I was hardly in my bed last night to enjoy them. ::cries::
I'm so tired.
I'm either in sweatpants or maternaty leggings if I was wearing them that day. I think I've been in the same pair since Monday because yesterday was zombie day. Once LO is done eating I'm off to shower and go to the dump
What should I have for dinner? We are going to the store later Requirements are that it's very easy to make. No red meat or pork, no cheese. Can be vegetarian.
I just received LO's birth certificate. WA state is ghetto, that piece of paper looks soooooooo fake.
I'm still boggled that ct makes you pay $20 for one. Not for copies, for and initial one
I have to pay too. In the range of $20 but not sure exactly and if we don't do it in the first 6 months, we have to get it from the state rather than the county and it's more. Annoying

I had to pay too. And those are certified copies. Wondering then where is the real one?
