Add me to the Fast & Furious fan club. I'm disappointed I probably won't see this one in theaters.
I was just thinking that maybe this week we ask a grandma to babysit so H and I can go...
Absolutely do it!
We live half a mile from the movie theatre. I've been trying to decide if I could get a grandma or aunt to come to my house to babysit. I could nurse, show up at the theatre right when the movie starts, and be home in time to nurse again...right?
Or maybe this movie will be my motivation to open my breast pump haha.

DS just spit up what seemed to be the entire contents of his stomach after he finished nursing. Luckily I caught most of it in the towel I had under him. He didn't seem to be bothered by it at all but it really freaked me out. Had anybody else ever had this happen? He's never spit up this much before.
hollydfromtn omg that's freaky DS just did the same thing. While almost asleep on the boob he projectile breastmilk allover me the floor and my husband's recliner (furniture cleaning tips anyone?) He didn't even cry. We gave him a bath and now he's falling asleep while on the other boob.

Yes! Last week all over our tile as I was taking him to bed from nursing him. It even came out of his nose. My conclusion was he ate too much but who knows. He hasn't done it since so I think as an isolated incident it's normal.
I figure if the spit up doesn't bother LO it shouldn't bother me, especially if it's uncommon (or an uncommonly bad episode). I figure either he ate too much or had a very unfortunately placed gas bubble.

Yes. Its alarming but I think it looks like more than it is.
I tried on a skirt that I bought the day I got my BFP and it miraculously fits (differently, but I can zip it and it isn't skankily tight on the bum). (edited to make grammatical sense).
My husband thinks hes being sweet by staying up as long as possible while I rock the baby to sleep. Eventually he stretches put diagonally across the bed and passes out. By the time I come to bed I have to gently* wake him up to make him scoot over. Every. Single. Night.
* if I'm not gentle he'll freak out and wake the baby. I really want to say bitch move and shove him over.
I can't quite figure out why DS is fussy tonight (go figure, right? Why can't they talk yet?) but he seems really irritated by his swaddle. I put him in footed pjs instead...we'll see how this goes.
I actually cried a little tonight looking at LO's new-newborn pictures and thinking about how big he is now. Sleep deprivation and H working nights is really getting to me, I guess.

Only all the time.
The pedi has been very nonchalant every time I call when it happens. I still call so it's on record, but they tell me not to worry unless it gets worse. I'm not sure how it can get worse (they says when it's really projectile, as in across the room, or if he seems in pain, or if it happens more frequently).
Otherwise they give the standard reflux advice - burp more frequently, feed upright, hold upright for at least 30 min, even though he appears hungry he probably isn't (I have a hard time with this one)...
For the second time today I noticed DS slowed way down while nursing. I go to pull him off and when I look down I see that he's fallen off and is snoozing away. I should probably get off the phone and pay attention to my kid.

Yep, happens more than I'd like to admit and every single time it makes me feel bad, like I'm not paying enough attention to my LO.

Story of my life! Between DH and my dog its hell getting back into bed, every single time and heaven forbid I wake him well trying to get back into my spot.

Yeah... Me too. I try to have at least one feeding a day where I'm looking at him for all or most of the feeding, especially if he's looking at me. Watching him nurse is really calming, so being stressed / anxious I need to remember to just breathe and watch my successfully eating kid. But nursing time is forum time haha!
Add me to the not so great night of sleep. DD fed an hour earlier than usual last night and we paid for it last night. Extra feeding, and not wanting to sleep unless touching someone. *sigh*
On an entirely different note I pulled a pan of my homemade cinnamon rolls out of the freezer for this morning I hope they turn out well. I have never frozen them before. Eep.
Bah my baby has regressed in the 'being OK with not being held' department. She was getting great at taking a morning nap in her swing and I could get stuff done like exercise, eat, shower and clean dome dishes but this is gone GONE I tell you! Now she screams in under 5 minutes no matter how awake she is when I put her down. I pick her up boom asleep. I am not happy with this. Not happy at all.

LO is like this at night. He will be out cold from nursing and the second I lay him in the crib, he is wide awake again. I even let him sleep on me for 20-30 minutes and he still will not stay asleep. But, during the day it's not a problem at all. Good luck with getting LO to fall asleep.

Ugh that really stinks she at least sleeps well at night. I hope she begins sleeping at night better soon.

Hope it's a phase that passes quickly but in the meantime can you wear her?
I'm pretty excited to get home and I have a very tired baby. I think the change of scenery and all the people looking and talking to him totally wore him out. Too much mental overload. On the plus side it's making for a very easy drive.
